Lemon Cuisine of India
Good food. Service bad. Cccvggggggghhhhhhhhhhjhhhhhhhgg
Fresh and delicious Indian food! Our first visit was for lunch on Saturday. We had the cauliflower in a spicy tomato sauce (Lasooni ghobi) for appetizer followed by the lunch special, which includes either a salad or soup, any entree from the menu, and dessert. We tried the palak paneer and chicken in mango sauce. Both came with rice, naan, and a side of Mattar paneer. You can choose your spice level so we asked for medium hot. Everything was delicious - spicy but not too hot and good portion sizes for lunch- not too large. We each received a small dish of rice pudding with almonds for dessert. I was quite full by then, so I was glad it was just a small taste. It is obvious that the food is made with fresh ingredients and attention to detail. The service was excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Will definitely return for dinner!
Waiter didn’t know the menu and we got one wrong dish but the food was so good it outweighted the negatives! Love this place for take out (for now)
Visiting Washington with our granddaughter. Lemon Cuisine was around the corner from our hotel. Nice surprise.
Food was excellent. Service was excellent and friendly.
Would recommend to anyone.
Friendly, attentive staff. Generous portions and good prices. The naan and kachumber salad were delicious, but the aloo gobi was for me out of balance. Interior of restaurant not inspiring, and they had a television on that could be heard across the restaurant.
Other than parking I really enjoyed my experience.
Great food and the service was excellent.
Very good Indian food for a pretty reasonable price. Would definitely go back and would recommend to a friend!
We were 10 and had a great experience. Very attentive staff.
The food was very good with the ability to pick how spicy you'd like it. The service was excellent and the owner even stopped by to ensure everything was satisfactory. Overall an excellent experience.
It’s affordable and the spicy food is properly spicy. Heaven.
The food is very good, sometimes excellent, and they give you a warm welcome and great service. One of the best Indian restaurants in DC.
Good food (quality and quantity) with friendly and attentive service. Unfortunately the restaurant was empty -deserted - and this really impacted on the atmosphere. If you're a DMV resident this is not worth travelling to. There is better (although more expensive) options close by for a curry. If you're staying in the Dupont area and want a curry then take a glance in the window: if it looks busy and the ambience is better then I can commend the food and service.
