Great food atmosphere and service. Went before a show at the Paramount and will definitely return. A beautifully designed interior as well.

An excellent addition to Aurora’s dining options. The ambiance and food were great and the service superlative. Unfortunately, Aurora is the graveyard of restaurants and this place need all the luck in the world to succeed. Aurorans are the opposite of foodies and their reverse snobbery will have them complaining about the price and how it’s “not what we need.” Go and enjoy the food and support this place!

Wanted to try it for a while. The atmosphere and food were great. The service was ok at best. The staff was very friendly but I waited quite a while for my drink. Then I received my entree way before my wife. It was the first time I’ve ever had my food not come at the same time as my wife’s ever. Also, we were not asked if we wanted another drink until we were done with our food. Maybe it was just an off night for our server as he was very friendly. We will definitely go back though. Definitely try the beef dumplings for your appetizer!

This was our second visit and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Leilani. The food is outstanding and the service is excellent. Only rcommendation is to improve the wine list and also allow corkage.

Food was good. You can tell the chef is passionate about his craft. The calamari was a bit overdone, but the sauce was good. The skirt steak was ordered medium well and came out medium rare. I don’t think the waitress cared too much when we let her know about the steak temperature and the calamari being over cooked. The pork belly dish was very small for the cost, but very flavorful without being too salty. The large windows are appealing but the sunlight catches every inch of dust and dirt that needs daily cleaning, in a restaurant like this. The floors were dirty and though there are some kinks to be worked out, I think the menu items are fresh and new with a passionate flavor. The environment should have the same aesthetic for a brand new restaurant.

Food was AMAZING, service was a joke honestly. I had secondhand embarrassment for the staff, clearly they were not trained well. All started with the hostess. We came for lunch last Saturday 8/31 with a reservation. Took 15 minutes to get seated; the hostess was just bopping around the floor. When she was finally "ready" to seat us (the table was open the entire time), she stood there until I saw it click on her face that SHE had to lead the way to show us to our table. When we were finally sat... this is where everything else starts going downhill re: service. I understand it's a new menu and servers are still trying to learn, fine, it's not that. I ordered the Miso Cauliflower, the server asked me twice to clarify, and I repeated. Guess what came out? Miso soup. The server looked confused and said I ordered the soup. GIRL. I said cauliflower twice... it seemed like she didn't even know the item existed at all. The staff delivering our food was an insane & laughable experience -- we were annoyed at first, but it ended up becoming such a joke to us. Not once, not twice, but FIVE TIMES staff ran food to us that we didn't even order. We also noticed a few times that they were delivering OUR order to the table next to us. I'm sorry -- do they not have table numbers??? Or did the server just not ring it up correctly?? Another issue. My mom ordered a side of rice and the staff said he'd go check, came back 10 min later to drop off another order, my mom asked about the side she ordered again and he just looked at her and laughed??? We never got it. My favorite part was staff giving us to-go containers with lids that didn't match :) I didn't notice until after we left, but someone in my party said he caught our server giving us dirty looks. Not sure what that's all about, but it's not our fault you ran 5 items out that weren't even ours? It felt like they were just auctioning off food? Did I mention it took 40 minutes to get the orders out?

Overall because they have been just open for a month I will cut them some slack! But the service was very very slow - the waitresses were just slow and maybe they are gaining experience but for a dinner for - four people we were there over three hours just waiting on food! And wrong dishes were brought to us and it just took a very very long time to order drinks! Will I go back yes eventually but not anytime soon! They have some things to figure out still!! Thank you! Wishing this restaurant best of luck!

Amazing, original, creative food with great service and awesome recommendations. We absolutely loved the Korean dumplings, but the “scallops” made from lions made mushrooms are unbelievable, and the dragon roll was magnificent! We will be back.
