Food was good service from our server was excellent. A bit cold due to the door open and there was some confusion about us having a reservation.

Frog legs poutine...had me at that. Good wine list as well.
Soup of the day was amazing. Rest of the food was mediocre. The restaurant was empty. Staff was not wearing masks.
Menu is eclectic in that everything has a little twist for a new dinning experience. Loved the frog leg poutine. Great service and people.
Great service Wonderful meal.
Lovely spot. Small, good food, good wine, friendly staff. Would go back and recommend for sure.
The salmon was perfectly prepared. The service was fabulous too.
Very small restaurant. Nice food lovely people, service was a bit hit and miss when it got busy.
Food was amazing, highly recommend the braised lamb!! Great service as well, Veronica was a great front of house.
We had a family dinner there while on vacation. This was a really nice find, the restaurant and staff were excellent and the food was delicious. Will come and dine here again.
A small bistro trying to be something it is not. Very average tasteless food.
Service staff was great!
Ambience was very nice!
I’ve had better duck elsewhere.
Portions did not fill me up, leaving me needing more.
This resto is in the Upper Village on Blackcomb Mountain. Many restaurants have come and gone in the Upper Village. If you are staying on the Benchlands, or the Chateau Fairmont or the Four Seasons, you must go to this lovely Bistro. It's small and intimate. The night we were there, there was a musician who was excellent and judged the crowd perfectly. A nice touch. On to the food -it was great. My wife had salad and the onion soup. Both were a treat. The onion soup is less traditional (without the mound of Gruyere, or worse, processed cheese) but the flavours were very nice. I had the venison carpaccio and the steak frites. The steak was absolutely perfectly cooked and very flavourful. It wasn't too large, which is often the case. The frites were large-cut fries and not oily at all. The wine list features BC wines and many reasonably priced wines could be found. We had a Foxtrot Pinot Noir...worth a trip for the wine alone. If you are staying in the Upper Village, don't walk by Legs Diamond, make a reservation and prepare for a lovely experience...all around.
This is a very small restaurant but has an oversized ambiance. The menu was interesting, with a good mix of exotic choices and tried-and-true. The steak frites was very good, although the steak was slightly overdone. Fortunately, it was a good cut and survived the experience. The salmon was excellent. Service was good although the server was not the friendliest I've ever come across. Not bad but sort of made us feel like we were "outsiders". I would definitely return.
If you have a friend who can’t cook, but puts in a lot of effort when friends come over, and presents strange, badly cooked dishes, with ingredients and flavours that don’t make much sense on the same plate, then you’ll have experienced something a bit like Legs Diamond.
Unfortunately the service was as confused as the food, with just one guy running the place; a very nice guy but perhaps not the best organised person for the job.
On a positive note, there’s a small but very reasonably priced selection of good local beer and wine. A better bet than the cocktails; I ordered an old fashioned which is pretty classic and difficult to get wrong, but what arrived wasn’t right.
If you are stuck and have to eat here, opt for the Steak Frites. It isn’t Steak Frites, but the meat was reasonably well cooked and the potato wedges won’t kill you.
We were a party of 6 but I couldn’t recommend any of the starters or other mains.
Enjoyed everything about it, except I don't think it's appropriate to ask or default to a 25% tip, I found that a bit offensive, enough to write a review about it and I don't write many on Yelp.
Our server was great and the staff was very attentive to us. The deep fried cheesecake was amazing.
The wait staff was kind but under staffed.
Great food, owner was super nice.
Very nice quiet place at upper village. Food was great and reasonably priced. Probably overlooked by many, but this is a gem. Found it by accident and now we go there on every trip to Whistler.
Veronica the server was engaging, funny, and efficient . We ate there 3 nights out of 7. Terrific food, friendly staff, most excellent.
Everyone was super friendly, loved the atmosphere. The person playing guitar was very talented and played at a level so we could still have a conversation. Food was excellent and service was attentive. Loved it and will be back!
Went there with three teenagers. There was an extremely talented musician playing guitar and singing. The kids loved the experience and as a result we lingered for a leisurely meal and dessert. The food was delicious and the service just right!
Great food, wonderfully friendly staff, cute setting.
Will definitely come back.
really nice place
Sadly one of the worse meals we have had.
It’s a drafty small restaurant with no atmosphere and poorly cooked food. We learnt that the chef has only been there for 2 days ! Also surprisingly pricey ..
Subpar throughout. The duck was very dry and overcooked. Kids meals were lacking. Wine was just ok. Maybe I ordered the wrong thing? Steak was good but medium was rare!
A lovely little restaurant with a great menu, and open kitchen. The staff, and owner, were friendly, and accommodating. The soup special was amazingly comforting on a cold Fall day, and the main was delicious too. Worth giving it a try.
The service is certainly the low point of the experience. The food is okay. The burger meat was overcooked, the gravy on Poutine was too thick and the fish (lingcod) didn't seem to be fresh. I also thought the thick fries were a bit too much. I would have preferred thinner and crispy fries.
Nice but limited menu. We ordered duck and chicken. Nice presentation but a bit dry although tasty. Service was horrible - no water, no second check on our beverages and then waited to have to pay and they were not busy at all. We had hoped for more and won’t be back. Too many other options with good service and food in Whistler. Too bad- opted to try something new for my birthday......should have gone to Sidecut or Rimrock. We are not overly fussy, but truly disappointed
I had the Panko shrimp appetizer and their interesting take on fish and chips. Ling cod stuffed with shrimp and scampi with hand cut fries. All really good. The house wine was really good too.
The ambiance of the restaurant was good and the food was delicious. I totally recommend this place
I ate there two weeks earlier & was very please. This time all 3 of us were disappointed. The food quality was fair at best. It lacked freshness, meat & scallops seems old & dry. Wine over priced which is normal for Whistler BC.
Extremely limited menu. Food quality and service level not at all up to what should be expected for the prices involved.
This restaurant is just mediocre. The food was just ok, the service was slow because they only had one waitress & she was also the bartender. The music was really lame and the ambience boring.
This restaurant is in Whistler’s Upper Village two minutes from our timeshare. It was our first time here and the food and service was excellent.
The chef/owner even had a moment to tell me how he prepared one aspect of the meal.
We will return here for sure.
This is a fun, unexpected experience in a ski resort. Great service great food good wine list. Go, enjoy a flashback to another era!
Great service and delicious meals for all capped off a wonderful birthday celebration at Legs Diamond. Our son raved about his duck entree. I really enjoyed my deconstructed Beef Wellington, which could only have been improved by a touch more seasoning.
All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience and can highly recommend the venue.
We had a fabulous dinner for five recently. Got a reservation on fairly short notice and wasn't sure what to expect. Loved the intimate, family fun atmosphere. The appetizers and drinks were good, while the mains (duck & lamb) we had (and dessert) were quite outstanding. Looking forward to a return visit!
