Serving only the best quality food, featuring all hand cut Certified Angus Beef steaks that have been aged for 28 days. Legends also serves a variety of seafood. The shrimp crepes are a must try. You can enjoy great unique appetizers and mouth watering desserts. Legends has a full bar and an outstanding wine list with over 80 wines to choose from. We were visiting Deadwood from So Cal and luckily made reservations as this place was very popular. After sitting and enjoying our first few courses we quickly learned why. First of all the service was fantastic! Our server was very attentive and friendly. Answered all Our questions and made sure that everything was perfect. The duck wings were exceptional and the Cesar salad was on point, anchovies and all! Then the steaks came out, but making the selection was tough. We ended up all getting meat from a different animal! Lamb, beef, bison, and elk were all cooked to perfection! We would definitely make this a regular stop if we weee to return to Deadwood! It’s a must try!

I had asked for a nice booth or table for my husbands birthday dinner. The host said we could have a booth in the bar-no thanks. So he led us to a table where a very loud group was dining. I noticed a booth in the main restaurant was emptying, and asked for it. This was apparently a big ask for this man, but we said we would wait for the booth. There was absolutely no ‘happy birthday’ here from anyone. Our server was harried but fine, and our steak dinners were well prepared. First impressions are important at a restaurant, based on this experience I’ll book another place…

Filet and Caesar Salad was outstanding. Baked Potato wasn't cooked. The second one they brought was the same way. Waitress did a great job.

The waitress was very attentive and helpful. But, we ordered the Toffee cake and we’re not very impressed. The flavors did not seem to go together. The crust and cake. It was too sweet.

We were looking forward to our dinner at Legends due to the positive reviews we had seen, but we were unfortunately very disappointed. The atmosphere was alright, just a little bit dated. The service was very mediocre - we were concerned our waiter had just lost a loved one and still had to show up to work - that is the exact enthusiasm we experienced. The real issues arose with the actual food and even more so, beverages. We ordered an old fashioned and an Aperol spritz - both were terrible and made improperly. And no one even asked if they were ok. The steaks were alright - although a little too on the underdone side. And the au gratin potatoes were complete garlic bombs sadly. That might be alright if it were actually mentioned in the menu description the fact that they were heavily garlic flavored - garlic was not mentioned at all. Overall there was nothing that justified the price for this establishment - I would advise lowering your expectations dining at Legends.
