   Bartender misinformed us - said that the “other bar” (we later learned was the Moxy Bar) was the same and offered the same drinks. Come to find that out the bar bill was double and there was no happy hour. Food choices were limited and the waiter boasted a cheddar Mac & Cheese special, but then said there was no cheddar for my burger, only American cheese. The excuse provided was that the restaurant didn’t get its delivery. The burger was over cooked, but I didn’t say anything because I was convinced they would never get it right. The restaurant was empty, not many other diners. Mediocre midtown restaurant that is convenient and overpriced for what you get.

   Visited during Restaurant Week and the menu offered a good variety of options. Service was great and the ambience was also great. I ordered the tuna tartare, steak frites and key lime pie.

   Good food well prepared. Nice facility. Service ccx was slow, but the fault apparently was the kitchen. If not for that glitch, I would recommend eating here.

   The food was so delicious… We were warmly welcomed upon entering and the service got better as we dined. I can not recommend this establishment enough!! Such a great time!!

    Was looking for a restaurant near Madison Square Garden for a pre-game drink and dinner, Legasea Bar & Grill not only fit the bill , they hit out of the park. We were running late, LIRR strikes again, hostess was very understanding and when we arrived was extremely cordial and friendly, great start! We first looked for a spot at the bar, however, bar was full, at least the first bar, yes, 7th and 36th has two bars. That said, we were seated at a booth giving us plenty of room. We were quickly asked which type of water we wanted promptly followed by our server Lauren Q. (Not Quinn😂), who took our drink order and went through the specials. Added bonus, it was happy hour, $2 oysters which were absolutely delicious, expertly shucked, awesome. We opted to try both the East and west coast oysters, we both agreed the west coast were far better, meatier and sweeter with a killer cocktail sauce, now we knew we may be in for a good if not great dinner. We liked them so much we ordered another dozen and added the shrimp cocktail, enormous and delicious! For our entrees I had the bronzino special, superb! Not a bone to be found, cooked to perfection, yum! My buddy got the brick chicken, he raved as well. Must say this is a great find, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a shot, I know I will be back. Special thanks to the manager who’s name escapes me but he was awesome.

    Great service, ambience, food and background music playlist. The braised short rib special should be place on the menu, it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

    Went there for a NYE dinner before heading to Times Square. Hostess and management were friendly and professional. Food was outstanding. Our server was terrible. Big attitude, inattentive, no clue what her problem was. Would think twice before going there again because she was that terrible.

    Great service, love the food portion, however cocktails aren’t that good and a lil pricey. Gavin was an amazing server! Everyone was very pleasant and a put together restaurant.

    We had a family meal here on our trip. Everything was amazing, there was honestly no complaints. The service was incredible, the waitstaff were so attentive. The food was delicious! The restaurant itself felt like a real treat, but the value was amazing. Would definitely recommend eating here, will hopefully return one day too!

    Went with the family for dinner since we were in the city to do Christmas stuff. We had seen the great reviews and felt comfortable trying it. It was great! The hostesses and wait staff were so welcoming, helpful and attentive. And because of the great Steak Frites reviews we decided to try them too. They were soooo delicious. Really really good. The restaurant is also reasonably priced for that part of NYC. Definitely check out Legasea if you’re in town.

    This was a great find between Penn Station and Midtown. It will be a frequent spot to go before we attend a Broadway show. The pasta and the Steak Frites with "gold" sauce was delicious. Also the bread that is served for the table prior to dinner was a nice surprise and equally wonderful. Service was great. I do suggest an open table reservation though. Even on a Tuesday night it was crowded and lively.

    My group of four had a great time at Legasea. The food was excellent. Definitely get the Korean wings! We had the Steak Frites which was fantastic and my boyfriend is still talking about his flounder. It's a very cool looking place and the staff was great. Will definitely come back here.

    I ordered a burger cooked medium well. The first time it came out bloody and I sent it back. The second time it came out the same. My husband had already finished his food by the time the second burger came which was rare. The waitress wasn’t too helpful and the manager wasn’t too apologetic. I definitely wouldn’t waste my time going here while on vacation in NYC. We’ve been on 6-7 trips to NYC and this is the only restaurant that I wouldn’t go back.

    So disappointed in the food. I hadn’t realised this is effectively an expensive fast food joint. Three of us were dining and none of us enjoyed it. So expensive for what was effectively low quality fast food. The music was just too loud. The vibe would have been better if the music was knocked down a bit and we had been able to hear one another. The waitress was warm and pleasant.
