Legal Sea Foods - Warwick Ratings and Reviews
Everything was fine except for the fact that one of the 12 oysters we ordered was BAD ! The manager was kind enough not to charge us for the entire order which I thought was more than fair. Fortunately my wife spit out the bad oyster and did not get sick from it.
The service was great. We were there at 5 PM.Perfect time.It started getting crowded as we left at 6:15. The food was very good.My husband's cioppino could have used more flavoring.Prices are high -ok for a special day.We will return for lunch in the future. My crab cakes were excellent,
Delightful experience. Took family of six to show gratitude for recent family successes. Had four adults and two teens. Everybody was delighted. Went for lunch and ordered meals as well as desserts. New England clam chowder was especially good. Nice to see their dessert menu had a variety of choices at different price points. Too bad there are so few restaurants from this chain in the US. I had gone to a Legal Seafood in Atlanta and loved it. The menu is quite different in each location because they focus on seafood that is harvested locally. When I made reservation I asked to be seated in a 'Private location'. They abided so there was no background chatter. We went 1:30 pm on a Saturday.
Been going to this Legal for years. There at least once a month. Service is fantastic (normally ask for Keith, as we did Fri night, but others a re excellent, too). Very good team.
Get warm greeting at door. They appreciate Open Table customers. Manager is very active, involved, concerned and on top of things. Runs a great shop.
Love the location across from the airport. Enjoy sitting outside on nice nights.
Little expensive so normally split with girlfriend an app, entree and desert. Then food becomes great value.
Of course people love the chowder, and rightfully so.
I find it a relaxing, comfortable place to dine. Will miss this location when they move this year.
Legal Sea Foods is worth visiting periodically.
The environment is comfortable. The furniture layout is making you feel like at home.
My waiter Damon was really friendly and nice.
The bar was fun and seemed interesting, even though me and my friend didn't drink at the time.
Convenient to TF Green Airport and local hotels. I have lived in New England all my life and this was the best seafood meal I have ever had. The Seafood Fra Diavolo spice level was perfect and loaded with clams, mussels, shrimp, calamari, squid and scallops. My wife had the seafood casserole and absolutely loved it! The service staff was polite, friendly and appropriately attentive. The atmosphere was relaxed and we were able to hold a conversation at the table with ease. We were so impressed we recommended this restaurant to our son, who went to lunch with friends the following day. Their experience was the same as ours, and we'll be making Legal Seafoods our go to restaurant when we're in Warwick.
Always consistent .
Fresh cherry stone clams
Mushroom Ravioli are excellent
No filet mignon which would be nice with seafood.
They used to have a great seafood antipasto, wonderful during the summer.
My husband and I dine at Legal Seafood in Warwick often.
Great Shrimp Scampi and Cioppino.
We miss the Seafood Antipasto we always ordered for an appetizer.
My only problem with this restaurant is when we are seated near the kitchen, there is a strong ammonia odor.
Ruins your appetite.
We were there on Valentine's Day, restaurant was busy with many couples.
Surprised there wasn't at least a red flower on each table.
Visited right at the beginning of restaurant week- specially priced 3course lunch and dinners. Service was perfectly timed and friendly. Clam chowder was excellent , yummy fresh hot rolls , great cocktails, generously sized entrée finished with a nice petite sweet! Excellent service from all staff-the hostess, our server and the manager. Will definitely return.
Another fresh and wonderful lunch at Legal Seafood! On the Sunday we went for lunch at Legal Seafood, it was also "dollar chowder" day, and Warwick, RI Restaurant Week. All of the offerings looked amazing, but we opted for our favorites: the freshest/safest raw-bar in New England, and the chowder. Such a wonderful meal! The service was impeccable, and we complimented the manager to tell him about our wonderful waitress, Sarah D. Can't wait to go back again.
Great evening out!! Food was wonderful, service was fantastic! I've been to a few other Legal Seafood locations and this one just needs a little modern updating on decor. I highly recommend to anyone that if you want a great date night this place should be on your list.
Had dinner here the other day - was excellent. This day I ordered nut encrusted salmon with ravioli - both were disappointing. The nuts - almonds - were sliced and overlapped on the exterior. Overwhelmed the salmon and were too chewy - ground almonds would have added flavor without being a chewing contest. The ravioli were tough and not flavorful. Didn't enjoy the dinner. The other day had outstanding mussel dish with with lemon and caper sauce. Would definitely come again - but the salmon/ravioli dish is to be avoided.
