Legal Sea Foods - Warwick Ratings and Reviews
From the moment you enter, you are made to feel welcome with a smile and personalised greeting from the hostess. Our waiter, Brian was delightful. His knoweldge of the menu was matched with his enthusiasm for the fresh products served. All of our courses were served promplty and hot towels were provided after our shellfish appetiser. The manager even brought our meals to us and checked to ensure we were enjoying everything. The experience could not have been better after a long, long day it was the perfect good ending!
Legal's is always a favourite and I will continue to reccommend it to all!
Very good, well prepared food. Service not so good... server all hurried up, rushing... Table next to the "service" area, in back... This happened cor the first time, normalità service ispirazione good and tavole in the mani area...
The girl in charge of the tables was rude and we waited several minutes while she argued with other people about where to put us. A waitress showed us to a mini booth but my husband could hardly fit so after about 5 minutes they sat us at a regular size table. Food was expensive and mediocre at best. The only bright spots in the evening were the waitress who was very nice, the watermelon crush cocktail I drank, and the crab cake actually had crab in it. Dinner for 2 with 3 drinks was almost $200 with 1 shared appetizer and surf and turf. There is no ambiance and we sat underneath a spotlight. Yes, a spotlight. It was too bright.
My girlfriend having never been to a Legal, I decided we needed to cross it off her list. As always, food was fresh and delicious as it always is at Legals. Though quite understated, service was good, though a tad laid back for my liking... but young man was very pleasant. Only eye brow raise is when the check is received, but as long as prepared for it... you are almost always assured of a positive experience at Legals. With an app (yummy steamers), 2 entrees, 3 bon bons and only one of us drinking... $145.00 w/ tip. Thus the eye brow raise. Certainly a very nice meal, but cost prohibitive for more than a special occasion visit.
As usual when using open table, was seated very promptly. Shared an order of mussels picatta, excellent, very tender and broth was so tasty with capers and lemon. We ordered the seafood casserole and swordfish, broccoli and sauteed spinach was served without butter or oil as requested.
Always enjoy the food here. Even with a reservation still had to wait for a table. It was Mother's Day, and glad we had the reservation!! Server was pleasant, but VERY busy, and we felt somewhat overlooked and hurried. Would have liked to take longer to eat, but felt as if we needed to eat and leave for the next party. Definitely an atmosphere of rush, rush, rush!!
The food and drinks were very good, but nothing outstanding. The service was very good and the servers were very accommodating; we had children in our party and they immediately replaced one of the children's meals when it was known to them that the child did not like what they had originally served. Overall, it was pleasant dining experience.
This is an excellent option near the airport. We were staying nearby for only one night and did not want to get in our car. We were able to walk from the Comfort Inn and we sat outside. It is near the airport, so al fresco isn't fancy, but it was such a nice night. The staff and servers were friendly and accommodating. Our food was fresh and tasty. My mother had the Nutty HiddenFjord Faroe Island Salmon, which was delicious. I had the Rainbow Trout with lemon parsley anchovies better, which was served on the side, and a sides of garlic leek brown rice and sauteed kale. The fish was cooked beautifully and the kale was cooked nicely and served with a tasty honey yogurt sauce. The rice could have been more flavorful, but I put my tasty butter on it, instead of the fish. I will add that I am gluten free and had no problem enjoying a very nice meal. Wine list is average, with many choices. Mom had a nice martini.
Excellent service, waiter was knowledgeable of the menu to offer recommendations. Very attentive. Food arrived promptly. The clam chowder was very good. Swordfish steak was excellent. Have already recommended this location to others. Will definitely be back
Everything was fine except for the fact that one of the 12 oysters we ordered was BAD ! The manager was kind enough not to charge us for the entire order which I thought was more than fair. Fortunately my wife spit out the bad oyster and did not get sick from it.
The service was great. We were there at 5 PM.Perfect time.It started getting crowded as we left at 6:15. The food was very good.My husband's cioppino could have used more flavoring.Prices are high -ok for a special day.We will return for lunch in the future. My crab cakes were excellent,
