El platillo insignia en Legal Sea Foods es el pescado verdaderamente fresco. El restaurante está situado en el interior del centro comercial de Short Hills, en el nivel inferior.     My wife and I had a 630pm reservation on a Friday evening , we arrived a few minutes early, were greeted by the staff and seated right away. Surprisingly it was not real busy. Our waiter was very knowledgeable of the menu had great recommendations, and proved excellent service. The drinks and appetizers were very good . For the main meal I had a haddock dinner and my wife had the Chilean sea bass , both dinners were prepared very nicely and the flavor was spot on. Hats off the the chefs, the overall experience was pleasant one thanks Legal Seafood

    Always a great experience, but was a little taken aback when the waiter told us that Lobster Bisque was no longer on the menu.

    Everything was great with the restaurant. Unfortunately, at the Short Hills parking lot, there are very limited handicapped parking spots. From the only one that we found available on the second floor, we had to walk about 100 ft, on the street (no sidewalk), to get to the entrance of the Legal Seafood restaurant there.

    It was just okay. Food quality and presentation seem to have gone down. I haven't been to a Legal for over a year an this felt subpar. Food tasted okay and the plating and presentation was on par with a diner, not what I would expect from a Legal. My husband and I joke that the experience was one of the first signs of "recession" dining. Prices remained the same but less quality and quantity.

    We were interested in the lobster roll, but at $46 decided that was a bit much for lunch!! Two of us had the mussels which were very good - they were cooked to perfection and had a little kick, but we’re not spicy. One had the fish sandwich which was more breading than fish. Service was good, but not overly attentive. No one came to see how things were during the middle of the meal, only at the end. Overall a satisfactory lunch.

    I asked for well done salmon and it was mushy and raw at the bottom. A dark skinned woman with braids was cleaning and spraying around our table. She had her cleaning supplies near our booth. She kept staring at us and mumbling words . She was very unprofessional and rude. A few tables over sang happy birthday and I’ve never witnessed that at legal .. I was also advised previously by a waiter that singing happy birthday is not allowed at legal. My waitress gave us 2 rolls and everyone else had 4 rolls at their table. My experience was unpleasant and I will not be returning.
