Appetizers were great. Entree's were very pricey for the size. Crabcake was not good. Odd flavor. Overall good experience.
Are outside on the patio and every part of our experience was perfect.
Excellent food and service as always. Really enjoyed the renovations made to the restaurant.
Legal Seafood at Northshore has .... Great food, Great service. We had Fun Time
awesome waitress great food ,what more can i say cooked our food to perfection.
Colleen our server was outstanding. The hostess Sue was very helpful. Fantastic place.
waitress was very friendly anmd food was excellent
The best seafood on the Planet. And the portions are the BEST!
This was the first time that I have gone to a Legal Sea Food since it changed owners. I will probably not return. The atmosphere is nice. The waitress was very pleasant and good. I would say excellent except that she never asked how the meal was. I was disappointed with my striped bass and my girlfriend specifically asked that the swordfish not be cooked to the point where it was dry. Unfortunately, it was overcooked. Neither issue reached the complaint level. However, if asked, we would have mentioned them. I have to say that overall the quality of the food and experience falls far short of should be expected for the prices they charge.
We had a wonderful experience. Food was delicious and service was exceptional.
Two out of four of us found that the breading on the fried shrimp and on the fried fish was much too thick and covered the flavor of shrimp and cod.
They only serve full belly clams and they were delicious!
The clam chowder was equally delicious!!
Food was good, except for the broccoli au gratin and grilled asparagus sides, which were undercooked to the point of being almost raw. I can easily forgive that because our server, Colleen, was absolutely outstanding. What a gem.
The dinner and service were great. But they sat an obnoxious and very noisy family right near us in an almost empty restaurant. They had a young child that was allowed to scream. And the parents were useless in keeping her under control. It ruined the meal as we couldn’t wait to leave. And yes. They sat them right next to us in an almost empty restaurant. Hostess needs better training Very disappointed in the dinner because of this.
Food was good, husband liked his oysters very much, server described the different kinds well so that he could make an educated choice. My calamari tasted great but we’re not crispy. Good spicy peppers tho. He liked his scallops very much-took some home happily. My fish and chips-great fries, fish was too soft/mushy. Server was great. Music from the 80’s for a 50 and up crowd seemed off but it was alright. So, yeah, good not great.
Service was friendly but not intrusive. Prices are high enough to make this a splurge for us but portions are large and prepared so well that it's still a great value. Legal has been a favorite of ours for many years of special occasion dinners and continues to be so.
Always good seafood at Legal and the selection is broad. Pricing is always on the high side with fish and chips at $22 and $12 for a glass of wine, but always enjoyable.
Food is always great. Service was excellent. We closed the restaurant and were not made to feel we stayed too long.
The food was very good, but they keep changing things. I got the Crab cake combo & they changed the salad from this delicious salad with raisins, apples & green leaf lettuce to a boring green leaf lettuce that was plain. They need to leave things alone! Everything was excellent before the new owner took over.
Been going to Legal seafoods for years, always a great meal.
Two out of four meals were excellent. Crab cakes were dry. Waitress efficient and friendly.
The best clam chowder and lobster rolls you'll find anywhere. Great service. Overall excellent experience. We will 100% be back.
Lunch with friends after having not been together in almost a year. The server was patient as we chatted quite awhile before we were ready to order. After lunch, we chatted some more that the server said for us to relax and enjoy ourselves and that there was not rush to leave. She was excellent and gave very professional and attentive service.
The food was up to the standards that I have come to expect from Legal Seafoods, having dined at many of their restaurants over 4 decades. I was concerned when I heard that the company had been sold but it seems that this location proved that the service and food quality is as good as it has always been.
Happy to see more menu items, now that we are on the other side of the pandemic. Wish that the oysters Rockefeller were 6 pieces rather than only 4 but they were great, just the same.
I will continue to visit this location.
Food was very good and the service was even better. Our server Nina was always asking if there was anything else we needed
First time eating here since pre-pandemic. Service was very slow despite the restaurant being mostly empty and the quality of the food definitely did not match the price. Perhaps this has to do with new ownership for LSF? We will not be returning.
I was surprised by the major increase on the menu items. I won't be going for quite a while.
Perfect spot to catch up with friends and enjoy a wonderful lunch. Service was very accommodating and everyone was happy with their food.
I ordered the house salad with crabmeat. The salad dressing was terrible (tomato vinaigrette, really?), fortunately there was very little on the salad. The extremely dry crabmeat was just thrown on top. Very disappointing, not the Legal I remember.
Neither new owners nor the emergence from Covid restrictions are encouraging. The menu is reduced and the wine list is a shadow of its former self. Maybe things will get better over time. Service though is excellent (but the restaurant was nearly empty).
Always enjoy Legal from way way back on Inman St, Boston
I've been to Legal Seafoods a crazy number of times over the years, but never had the opportunity to dine here. Tonight, I needed something that was only available at the mall here. I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is great, high ceilings, open and airy. Food is the same excellent Legal chow... high quality and perfectly prepared. Service was excellent and the manager, Bill Diamond, stopped by to chat and make sure all was well.
Farewell dinner for family that was moving out of state.
Birthday luncheon for 94 year old mom
Was looking for good seafood, and Legal was always the way to go. Food was ok, but not great like I remembered. Appetizers were good, but overall the food lacked seasoning and flavor. Tuna entree with coconut water was very bland. Mussels and the fish stew also had very little seasoning and flavor. As always, Clam Chowder did not disappoint. Ali, our server was on top of everything and took good care of us. We were disappointed with the food, especially since we brought out-of-town guests for dinner.
Food and service were excellent.
But we were most happy to see Susan the Hostess still looking good and going strong! God love her.
Everything was very good and food and service were excellent.
Although pricey, the food is well prepared and delicious. Having issues with black pepper however, the clam chowder, fries and even coleslaw all are seasoned with it already. Our server was friendly and did a great job.
The menu is much more narrow. More variety needed.
Legal is always good. This one seemed to have a slight issue with gnats or fruit flies inside (might be expected outside, but first time having this problem at a Legal inside)
