Legal Sea Foods - Park Square Ratings and Reviews
My Son & I were going to the Wilbur and decided on Legal Sea foods. We have dined in your Warwick restaurant and enjoyed it. We were not disappointed with our dining experience on Sunday evening. Everything was wonderful from our ability to be seated quickly to your fine wait staff and finally, our great meal. If I am ever near Park Square again, you can be sure that yours will be my first choice to dine.
Although we had a reservation & the restaurant was not busy they placed us in a very crowded area with many groups w small children. Food was ok but not worth the price. Waiter was in a hurry to end our meal. Had to ask for coffee. He brought the check before our dinner was cleared. Place is a little shabby- bench seat was ripped!
Another great meal at Legal Sea Foods - Park Square.
A great location whether you are on a date or with a large party.
The sashimi starter was perfect in size, preparation and presentation.
The halibut, off the grill menu, was excellent. Some of the best halibut I’ve ever had. Presented with a lemon butter sauce (on the side) allowed me to enjoy the fresh taste of the fish alone, or with the sauce. The mahi-mahi, in a light curry sauce with jasmine rice was, likewise very tasty.
Desserts of chocolate mousse and “deconstructed” Boston cream pie we’re a perfect end to a fine meal.
The service was great; timely, with just enough attention, but not too much.
We had a memorable Christmas dinner. Service, food, and atmosphere were all outstanding. Grilled salmon was perfectly cooked. Legal's Park Square has the sophistication and atmosphere of a New York seafood house without leaving Boston. The validated parking at the next door garage was very welcome, since we never had to go out in the cold weather.
Just the two of us for Christmas in the City! We’re greeted and seated immediately even though we were
early! Our server, Ricardo, was so attentive, well informed and delightful. My grilled salmon was as good as Julia Child’s if she were the cook! My partner said the ClamChowder was the best she’s had! Desert Bon Bon’s, compliments of Manager Christina, were yummy! Everyone greeted us and wished us a happy holiday.
We will return!
As we travelled from Australia to experience a White Christmas, which we achieved, we booked a table at Legal Seafoods for Christmas Day to experience the local cuisine and especially the New England Chowder! The food and service was top quality and we would not hesitate to recommend your restaurant to any family and friends that travel to Boston. Thanks for being a part of our once in a lifetime White Christmas experience 😁
This was a Christmas dinner that almost turned disastrous due to a family that sat beside our table while the were using FaceTime with their kids.
The waitress Frenchie and the sommelier tried their best to find us a different space and we appreciated it very much.
Our food was ok. I ordered the red jam swordfish and swordfish was dry and completely flavorless. Maybe this is just the problem with fish..each one is different?! I think this was overcooked, however, though that maybe was't the whole issue. Husband got fish and chips which he thought were just ok. Daughter had to get a salad as she has a shellfish allergy and apparently anything that is fried including french fries are fried in the same fryer as the shell fish according to our waitress. Legals is usually great about allergies-kind of something they are known for (at least among people I know with severe allergies) so this was somewhat surprising. Restaurant is in perfect location for Boston theater district which everyone probably already knows. We had tickets to the Cutler Majestic and it was a 3 minute walk away. Parking was very convenient as there is an adjacent parking garage with elevator opening basically into the lobby of Legals. It was very easy to get out of this garage (no long backup) once our show got out. I would park here again. In general, my past few visits to Legal's have been disappointing as far as the food goes (the last couple of visits were to the Burlington Mall store. We'd also been to this location once or twice previously in the past year. ) I think we may not be going back. Unfortunate as we used to love it but I think there are now better options.
Legal Seafood is tried and true. They really do a good, predictable meal with fish. No other restaurant is so consistent in cooking this delicate product.
One thing on the minus side is that no longer serve baked potatoes. We were very disappointed and will think twice before returning until they reinstate them.
Service was very fair. The bottle of Chardonnay wine that we ordered (not inexpensive), was not cold at all. The waitress just giggled over it and offered nothing but a chiller for the table, which did nothing for the room temperature wine. We were also never visited by any sort of manager. Very disappointed!
We arrived for an early dinner before a concert. We were seated promptly. Service was good. We were not rushed and finished in time for our event. The restaurant manager stopped by our table to check in which was very nice. It was a busy night for them but the food was great and service too. You won't be disappointed.
My husband and I were on a rare date night. I expected better. The service was slow, server was complaining about "things getting screwed up" every time he picked up a shift.
Shrimp was rubbery and overcooked. Sides (veg and rice) seemed to have been slopped onto plate; not great presentation. Our other Legal experiences have been much better at other locations.
Outstanding service and commitment to excellence not only at our table but throughout the dining area. Cozy and warm dining experience yet expansive venue that created a feeling of both privacy and spaciousness. Excellent attention to request for gluten free options.
Legals is our place to go for lobster. Every time we are in Boston and we need our shellfish fix, we go to one of the Legal locations in the city. Service was great - they accommodated our request for a substitution (we are not fans of mussels) and got extra steamers. Terrific and satisfying!
It was the first snow of the year and our flight was cancelled - so we spent the day in the city and walked across the common to Legal Seafoods - great meal, cozy setting ( some of the other legals have gone loud industrial) and great service and food! Will go back!
