Since 1980, we've been a staple in Boston's Park Square. Now relocated and renovated, our new spot at the corner of Arlington Street offers a wrap-around bar, open raw bar, and expansive lounge and dining areas. In warmer months, our patio provides a charming outdoor dining option right across from the Park Plaza Hotel. Enjoy local favorites, including Boston's best clam chowder, oysters and raw bar, lobster, grilled and fried seafood, as well as steaks, pasta and more!

Sat at the bar for a quick post work appetizer bartender was cool. Music is always good here.

Stopped in for an early dinner and had a great experience. Our server, Martin was friendly, attentive, and informative as always. We ordered two kids meals, clam chowder, and entrées. One of the kids' sides wasn’t as warm as the other and my son wasn’t a fan on the melon in the fruit cup. The manager on duty was incredibly kind and responsive, she quickly brought out fresh, hot sides and even a separate cup of just strawberries (my kids’ favorite), which was a thoughtful touch. The clam chowder was excellent; one of the best I’ve had, especially compared to other locations where it hasn’t been as good. My entrée (salmon and shrimp) was also delicious. We’ll definitely be back!

We wanted lobster rolls (and clam chowder and one non-seafood option) but also a nice, cool, quiet, air conditioned place for our party of 7. This was perfect!! Plus, our waiter Martin was friendly and cheerful - plus very attentive. A great place for a three-generations, two-time-zones group like ours. Delicious bread rolls to start, too. It really fit the bill.

Oh my gosh! Today I had a wonderful dining experience at Legal Sea Foods in Park Square. I had the red sangria which was perfectly balanced, refreshing, not too sweet, and full of vibrant fruit flavor! I ordered the lobster roll with mayonnaise, which came packed with fresh, tender lobster meat in a soft, buttery roll, and I was recomended by my excellent server, Martin, that I should have it with a side of drawn butter to get the best of both worlds! My friend enjoyed the crispy fish tacos, which again, Martin recomended that we have it with a side of their sweet and sour kun pao sauce, and my friend says this definitely elevated her tacos by 10x! We both shared the crab cake appetizer which was perfectly crispy on the outside and rich with sweet crab on the inside. Now more on our server, Martin, was an absolute gem—an English gentleman with a charming accent and a sharp, funny wit that made the experience all the more enjoyable. He was incredibly kind and attentive, offering thoughtful suggestions to help us personalize our dishes, while still giving us space to relax and enjoy our meal. Infact, everyone there was very kind, including who I believe was the general manager who created us at the door and promptly sat us! I believe she told us her name was Brigitte. While I've been to the many locations that Legal Seafoods has in Boston, I seriously look forward to coming back to this one again!

The crab cake was really perfect. We sat outside on a Sunny First day of Summer and that was perfect too.

Although the portion was disproportionate from the price, it was tasty. However, the service was the worst I've ever had in any restaurant. No wait staff came to greet me or pour water or tell me they'll be with me soon. Nothing. 15 or 20 minutes went by. I asked the bartender if there was a waitress for my table. He told me he would personally come out and wait on my table. Although he was busy making all the drinks for the restaurant, he gave me the best service that he could.. Very nice young gentleman. I told him it was important to me that the entire tip went to him. Otherwise even though I've never done this, I wouldn't have tipped anything at all. I had been at work for 14 hours on my feet. I was tired and hungry and had a reservation. The restaurant was not terribly busy. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the experience.

I have eaten many time at various Legal Seafood restaurants and always with very good to excellent quality and service. I was pleasantly surprised to find this one tucked away near my hotel overlooking the Public Garden in Boston. It was a very disappointing experience. The Caesar salad was totally buried in shaved parmigiano and the dressing was relatively tasteless. The only flavor I got was the cheese. For the main course I ordered the seafood orzo which came out severely overcooked. That is totally unacceptable in a restaurant serving seafood. The shrimp were like rubber, the mussels were shriveled up into unpalatable threads and the orzo itself was overcooked. Unfortunately, the wait staff disappeared after serving the dish and I lost patience waiting to inform them of the mess. Clearly the quality control in the kitchen of this Legal Seafood was worse than amateur, it was non-existent. Avoid this place if you are looking to eat good seafood near Boston Common!!

The food was fine… just fine. We are used to Legal being really good!! We were seated next to a large table, unfortunately so it was loud. Our server Maria was wonderful, checking on us frequently and making sure we were finished in time to make our show at the Wang. My crab cake was ok… nothing special. My husbands cioppono (sp?) was also just ok. Sort of bland. For the price we paid we did not feel the food was worth it. Disappointed.
