Went for my brothers birthday, had the oysters, mussels, shrimp scampi and grilled swordfish. Everything was amazing and our serve very attentive.
Great experience at Legal Seafoods. Amazing food, drink and appetizers. Busy place so book a reservation. We went back for lunch the next day!
They had no
Lobster Mac and cheese
Serious no chowder at legal seafoods
Great patio seating, the staff members are amazing!
Phenomenal experience all around. Highly recommend the stuffed lobster. Yum!
Reservations were easy to make, the food was great and the service was impeccable! A definite go-to spot when in Boston!
Place was great! Food is always great. Service was good, but could be more attentive.
Our experience was simply outstanding. We had oysters, cold crab app, lobster roll, swordfish, and wine/bread. The food was wonderful, but the absolute best was our server. He was personable, but his recommendations (and stories) really helped us make the best choices.
Great table and wonderful meal. Service was outstanding from explaining the menu to suggestions to best type of lobster roll and properly eating a lobster. Overall a fun dining experience
Delicious food and staff was excellent
Enjoyed the New England clam chowder and wonderful seafood.
The service was very good, but the food was disappointing. I ordered filet minion with the intention of sharing with my son. They split the steak and served it on 2 plates which was good, but the steak was cut in half before cooking. We were served 2 overcooked 3 to 4 ounce steaks. My daughter ordered the simply grilled haddock without butter. The fish and vegetables were served drenched in oil. My wife ordered the baked haddock, and it was overcooked, dry, and bland. I can’t what happened to one of Boston’s finest restaurants.
Great service and food! The best lobster roll I’ve ever had and waitstaff went above and beyond!
Wonderful service and still the BEST lobster roll in town!! HIGHLY recommend
Potions were very small for the price. Family of 4. One app. One kids meal and 4 adult meals and it was 250$
I was very disappointed by the food. They changed the menu and our favorites were no longer there. We had fish and chips and the salmon nicoise. They were just ok. Where is the amazing Legal seafood I am used to. Quite disappointing,
First trip to Boston. Legal Seafood was extremely satisfying.
Legal seafood is an expensive Red Lobster. I felt like I was in a cafeteria. We ended up leaving after the appetizer and going across the street to the Chart House.
Wonderful experience and our waitress Courtney was excellent and made the meal special for us.
The food was quite expensive and mine was hardly edible. I got the yellowfin tuna and it had hardly any flavor.
Great food and service,
Was visiting from out of town for a few days and searching for nice places to eat and found legal seafoods restaurant . Was glad that we did, will definitely go back again.
The servers were doing their beat to serve a number of large parties. One of whose members were intoxicated, loud and flaunting COVID rules. We were happy to leave after appetizers.
Visiting from Las Vegas and the food was amazing, service was good but a little slow. Overall it was a great experience!!!
Great spot, good food and excellent service from greeting at door to waitress.
Excellent dining experience!!! The waitress was amazing and the food was so good I could slap the chef, but I left that to the waitress. 😉
Out of towners
There are reasons Legal Seafood has been around as long as it has!!
As always and as it’s reputation reflects, everything was awesome! Of course we had to have the New England baked haddock & Lobster dinner! Yum!!! We will be back...
Quality seafood; friendly and knowledgeable staff, one of our best dinners in Boston!
It was my mother's 83rd birthday and the staff was just lovely. They wore party hats that we brought in. They bought dessert for the table in her honor. They were just wonderful to her. They were so patient when we showed up late due to traffic. It was a great day!
We were unable to sit outside as requested
It was awesome so delicious good service at the table I enjoyed with my whole family
Legal Seafood is an iconic restaurant in Boston for New England style seafood. The clam chowder is a great example of the regional specialty.
The food was delicious and the service the best. We recommend this restaurant to everyone
Glad to find one so close to Quincy Markets. It's on my list to return next time back in Boston.
Great food and service
It is always a pleasant experience as you can watch all of activities around the Aquarium while you enjoy a wonderful meal.
Horrible service, parking lot ambiance. Food was OK
Great food and scenery. The servers were great too. Very friendly
Great place for lunch with a great view of the waterfront
