   We we disappointed with the experience today as it our 40th anniversary and we booked on open table telling them that. We both had the swordfish. Our sides were cold but the fish was hot. We couldn’t tell our server because she didn’t come back until we were finished eating. Didn’t even get beverages refilled until we were done eating. We paid and left. After telling the server and the note on our reservation about it being our 40th, no one ever said or did anything for us. Very disappointing! The customer service and food quality at Legal has gone down hill over the years. We won’t be returning and can’t recommend the place and more.

   The service was excellent, our server was very careful and thoughtful about food allergies in our party. The chicken was surprisingly dry and overcooked but somehow the Brussels sprouts were almost raw. It was quite loud in the restaurant but this was unsurprising for a Saturday, but it was also very cold in the restaurant, we had to keep our coats on.

   Graduation dinner with 13 people, wonderful food and best in class service. They went above and beyond to provide us with a one off a kind experience.

   Great location for wharf excursion. Wait staff was pleasant and efficient. Quick service. My food was a little cold when arrived. Otherwise good experience.

   Our server was really nice and prompt. He did a great job getting our kids food out quickly and took care of everything we needed. Also our server did a great job with birthday dessert presentation for our kid. I thought everything was a nice as I remember for Legal’s, just a bit loud/echoing in the dining area so could barely hear music, not good for conversation. I’d thought there would be more oyster options, maybe this is seasonal, but I was happy to have Wellfleets and both the raw oysters and the tuna tartare were fantastic. Love Legal’s for really fresh sea food always.

   The food was terrible, but the crab cakes were worth it. The waiter was cocky and didn’t answer any questions we had about the menu. The manager was nice tho. Overall, wayyyyyyy overrated for seafood.
