Our waitress was such a sweetheart! She gave us excellent recommendations and the food was fantastic! Excellent food and service! Very reasonably priced. Thank you so much!
Very good as always! Will be back in the very near future.
Great food, staff very friendly.
Always the ultimate experience on Boston’s waterfront!
Place is amazing!! Definitely need to come and eat here!!
The service and restaurant overall
Food was very medioga , nothing special at all. We expected more from a restaurant that has been around for this long. PS replace those greasy rugs, please.
Overhyped! Had been told we needed to go all vacation, so on our last night we did...regret! If looking for a lobster roll, go to the barking crab!
I was worried about ordering a steak and a Sea Food Restaurant, but it was amazing!! My husband got a whole lobster and it was delicious also! Plus the Clam Chowder is the best!
Our server was particularly accommodating as one member of our party had dietary restrictions ....no dairy or soy...he checked On everything with the kitchen several times.
I was there for my wife's birthday, but there was no special favor or recognition. I went to Long Wharf Harbor Side downtown Boston thinking it was going to be something special but the only thing special about it was very expensive parking and lots of loud noisy people inside. I’ll be chalking this up to experience.
We had a nice family dinner there after a day at the aquarium. I definitely recommend eating here, although some items on the menu are pricey. But you know what your getting when you go to legal sea food, good food with a price tag.
We always have a great time here. We have a toddler that pretty much sleeps during our lunch hours (nap time) and it's so spacious there, we don't have to talk louder to hear one another. Totally recommend this location.
Good middle of the road for a seafood palace. Drinks made the meal!
I go to this particular location regularly for their baked & stuffed lobster which is among best in town. This time the food was great as usual, but [perhaps because of COVID] the service quality wasn't perfect -- minor mistakes in the order, longer wait. Also, the prices for sea food (not drinks / desserts) went up by some 20% since the last time I went there 6 weeks ago. Overall, still very good.
Food was great
We were early for our reservation and they tried to get us seated not long after we got there.
We love the service!!
Very enjoyable meal and service in these pandemic times. After the ownership change we were not sure of what to expect.
A very good experience as always, even with the pandemic restrictions in place.
Amazing Food. Went back twice on our vacation. Perfect Oysters and Crab Cakes!
Food was excellent
Always the best clam chowder. We did Dine Out dinner special. Portions were surprisingly ample.
Our waitress was absolutely wonderful couldn't sing her enough praise. Everyone is so attentive and made it such a great experience. Our first indoor dinner during the pandemic as a family.
The staff was accommodating, friendly, and efficient. The Restaurant Week prix fixed menu is fantastic and the portions were very generous. Very impressed overall!! Great experience!
Food was great, service and location were super! Interior is showing its age.
Enjoyed an early evening dinner starting with fresh mussels in a garlic butter sauce with toasted bread on top. Main course was salmon fillet over a tasty lemon farro base. Wait staff was attentive and friendly. Always a guaranteed winner!
Waitress not attentive and failed to tell us that bread would be toasted for a particular sandwich. Food options and quality very good.
I love Legal's but we just visited for in-person dining during the COVID-19 pandemic and the experience was lacking. The menu seems to have been reduced, the prices are outrageous ($18 for an appetizer), and the server was impatient with our questions. Food was good but overall the experience was just ok.
Good food, professional and friendly service, nice place, beautiful sunset reflected off the airport
The food and service were excellent. A little on the expensive side but it was worth it.
I had a great dinner with my wife for our anniversary. The food was amazing and great portion. Very polite service. Would love to come back again soon.
Very good service, as always. New ownership has altered the menu somewhat, but not greatly (which is a good thing). Attentiveness to the notation on the reservation that one of our party was celebrating a birthday was greatly appreciated.
Not the Legal I have known for 25+ years! Tuna was overdone & too spicy. Raw oysters were exceptional.
The food was fresh and delicious and the portions were generous. The location was perfect, Right across the street from the New England Aquarium.
I used to work at Legals, and it seems like the options for food have completely changed. The server was wonderful and was very apologetic to all the changes. I brought my gluten free friend with me for their birthday, and apparently they don’t have the gluten free rolls and more. They also can’t make the fish and chips spicy (they used to be able to). It was little bit of a let down. They also don’t have the ingredients for a pomegranate lemon drop anymore either!
Best scallops I’ve ever had. The tuna steak was so fresh and amazing.
The staff was very friendly and nice. The food was not great. I had scallops and they were not good. I had the faro salad as one side it was not good, tasted like raw dough. The French fries were very good. My husband's lobster Mac n cheese was very good as well. So I would just say to keep it simple if you choose to eat here. It was quiet and there was plenty of space between tables.
The best hot lobster roll I’ve ever had. Quick service and delicious food.
Loved it! Glad they are open for business again.
Oysters are very good. Wine menu should be expanded
