Our waitress was super nice, the food was amazing and the atmosphere was wonderful!

Saturday late afternoon prior to a Bruins game with friends from out of town. Wonderful service from a seasoned waitress who had no trouble remembering and fulfilling requests. Portions were plentiful and promptly served on a busy day, hot and delicious. We never felt rushed. A very positive experience for all!

Having a reservation with Open Table was very convenient and we were seated promptly. The staff was very friendly and professional. The meal was served at a very good pace, however the mashed potatoes were only moderately warm. When we brought this to the attention to the waitstaff, we were told that's the way they are served. It was very definitely disappointing since we expect better food temperature at this restaurant. The fish was very hot and tasty.

We had an early reservation, 5pm, in order to see a show. Fast service for that and no issue with noise level. Attentive service. But the seafood casserole was awesome!!! The non-fish eater loved the Caesar salad with chicken.

Worth a second visit.

All perfect except the noise, just to loud! In the future we'll ask for a quiet table.

The food, as always, was fantastic. I find this particular LSF a little less cozy than others.

Ordered the kale salad with salmon for lunch. The salmon was excellent. The kale salad was not. The kale pieces were large and tough. The salad had no flavor and harsh texture. Will never order it again. I will stick with the seafood and fish items which Legal does well.

Excellent service from our friendly waiter. Food was good. Glad we booked prior to our visit as there was a long line.

The greeters were disinterested and monosyllabic. The server was friendly but after taking our order we never saw her again until we asked for the check. Never had our water topped up and no offer of further drinks. Bus boys spent their whole time hiding in corners on their cells. The food was though very good as usual

Very pleasant experience! Everyone in my party loved their meal. We were looking forward to a great seafood dinner and they did not disappoint!

Last minute reservation and we were the last customer and they really made us at home. The food was awesome as well.

Best clam chowder I've ever had.
I also watched the staff setup a table for a large group and they looked and adjusted and looked and adjusted so everything would be just right, I was impressed!
I had the chowder and the mixed seafood plate...shrimp, sea scallops, tuna, salmon and sword fish, all exceptional!

The food was just ok. We’re all from Seattle, and clearly familiar with fish. The stuffed shrimp was really dry and the clams were without flavor. The server was awesome! It was a good night, but thinking we’ll eat elsewhere next time.

Ate here for the first time recently while in Boston for business. Food and service were both very good and the baked shrimp stuffed with crab is great!

Service and food were fantastic. The fact that they take my gluten-free requirement seriously is the most important thing overall. This is a required stop each and every time I visit Boston.

Food, service and view was perfect-as always!

We had a really nice and attentive waitress. It was pretty chilly at the corner table, as outdoors was frigid that night and we were right up against the window. My lite clam chowder had quite a bit of sand/grit in it. I've had this soup at Legal several times before and never had that problem. The pear salad I had I would have preferred more pear and less cheese- and lighter on the dressing. I also had the fried Wellfleet Oysters App and having recently been to Oysterfest in Wellfleet where I had fried oysters a couple times, I was a little disappointed. Also, I wondered what happened to Legal's sides? Why are they no longer on the menu? I missed being able to order the onion strings and the seaweed salad as sides.

Both menu items we ordered were a big let down. The signature crab cake did not taste fresh and the haddock was average at best.

Always a good experience and this branch was up to the LSF standards of excellence.

Legal is usually good but they seated the two of us us in the room off to the side where there were quite a few families with kids. Not a great date night environment with screaming children throwing food and supply cups. We should have asked for a different table.

We had a wonderful dinner at Legal Seafood. The service was exceptional. We had our 2 year old granddaughter with us and the staff was totally accommodating. The food was served in a timely manner and everyone’s dinner was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Boston. It is also in a great location. We walked to the North End after dinner and enjoyed coffee and pastries.

Gluten free options including fried calamari and dinner rolls. Waitress was very attentive and careful with a food allergy.
