Our server was incredible, and the host who seated us was very friendly as well. Overall, this was a great experience for me and my daughter.

Made a last hour change of plans and got a reservation. It was excellent and the service was exemplary. Oysters were delicious and the shrimp ceviche, while on the small side, was really good. Everyone else enjoyed their meals, especially the surprise of the night…Thai peanut salad.

What I love about Legal is that it's consistently good, over many many years. I can count on a new menu, but with interesting and delicious food, not bizarre pairings as some restaurants do. We were outside on a perfect evening. Great service, excellent food, having fun with good friends, perfect weather. Can't ask for more!

Hostess at front desk was not gracious and indifferent. We had reservations and were there 10 minutes prior. I requested a booth, yet we were placed at a bistro table in the bar. Although where we were seated had a great window view, it would have been courteous for the host to ask us if this type of seating was acceptable. On a positive note, our server was outstanding! He made our evening pleasurable despite an unexpected crowd that arrived as we were being seated. I ordered the clam chowder, which was bland and paste-like as well as the crab cakes, which were mushy. My husband ordered the baked haddock, and was very pleased. His shrimp and corn chowder was also quite tasty.

We were seated upon arrival. Our server was terrific, she refilled our drinks twice without asking. The food was delicious as usual. They are very accommodating when you want to change the side dishes. We did not feel rushed and was able to have wonderful conversations. It’s conveniently located by the Blue Line and ferry’s. We highly recommend Legsks st Ling Wharf.

We waited approximately 15 minutes to be seated. It was. It full capacity. However, another couple who came in after us was taken care off before us. Hostess/Host were not very well trained. Our waitress was very hospitable and took good care of our needs. The food was okay. It wasn’t up to my expectations. The crab cakes were a disappointment for me. The shrimp was okay.

It came highly recommended however it really failed to come anywhere close to what we had been told. The service was mediocre, but the biggest disappointment was the food itself. Lacked flavor, the food appeared to be simply dumped onto plates, and none of this was cheap - at $40 a main. Had far better and fresher seafood for less in Boston - not recommended would be the finding.
