Legal Sea Foods - King of Prussia Ratings and Reviews
The service was excellent and the fish was very fresh. I had the fried oysters to start and they were very good. The stuffed shrimp casserole was also very fresh and delicious, however I was unable to finish it. Heated up the following day was even better. Will definitely go there again.
Sorry but my wife's order was incomplete necessitating a redo. My meal was luke-warm to begin with and then cold waiting for the other meal to arrive.
The manager and staff were very accommodating but the experience was ruined. This is not the first time something like this has happened at this location but we thought it was corrected.
Myself and my husband have eaten at your Restaurant in King of Prussia at least 75 times and each time has been a wonderful experience except for tonight. Tonight was a dismal disaster, we always order the same exact thing fried oysters the normal way and grill trout. Well the fried oysters had set in the window for too long which cause them to steam and the heat to transfer to the crust which caused the oyster crust to be soggy and pretty much un- eatable we requested they be prepared again at which time the chef came out to our table and told us that they were fine we said no he took them back and threw those same oysters into the oil and overcooked them to the point of Oblivion we refused to accept them and requested our check , we gave the server a $20 tip and left. Your Chef was an insulting arrogant individual who had the nerve to say "that the oysters were fine , and did we want them over cooked. " We've never experienced anything like this in the past and I dare say we will never come to your restaurant again.
We had visitors from Toronto, Canada and one of them wanted a crab cake. His wish was granted! Two of us had the crabcake, one had the Fisherman's Stew and I had the grilled Mediterranean Salmon. Everyone but me loved their meals. Sometimes I am not in the mood to complain and this was one of them. The pita has charred, almost burdt and so was the bottom of the salmon. The cucumber sauce that accompanied the dish was not good. I chose not to mention this to the waitress, so the fault is mine. Everyone else LOVED their meals. I will go here again, just will not order that dish again.
average food, small portions and high prices. Service was very friendly and prompt.
There are many excellent restaurants where you can get great lunch specials for $10-$15. (Try Kabuki Japanese restaurant -- lunch specials are amazing). No reason to pay $22 for about 8 small scallops.
There are plenty of food choices for both the seafood and non-seafood lover. The food was cooked well and delicious. There were great healthy options for the kids on the kids menu. The service was very good, she paid attention to when we needed more drinks as well as when we were ready for our meal.
Our family went for my step-father's 80th birthday celebration. Our waiter was friendly, efficient, helpful and a look-a-like for Finn Cole. The food was delicious. This was one of the only times in all of our dining experiences that each adult at the table (6 adults) was happy with his or her meal. The meals ranged from healthy haddock, my entree, to stuffed shrimp. The children loved the bang bang cauliflower with sauce on the side. I would definitely book again for a special occasion despite the cost. It was well worth the happiness of our party.
When we arrived they put us in the back where there was a table of 10-12 and a table of 2. As a result it was very noisy and yet there were many tables empty away from the noise. Only one other couple in the place at that time. I had the scallops and they were excellent so no complaint there. My wife had the shrimp salad roll and the shrimp were so filled with water that she only had a few bites. They did not charge us for her meal, which was appropriate, so that offset some of the displeasure. We have been here many times and this is the first time we had a problem so we will go again some time. Just not one of our better events.
We've eaten at Legal Seafood many times and are never disappointed. I am a creature of habit and seem to always gravitate toward the Hidden Fjord Salmon. Others in our party are more adventuresome and have had a fair sampling of your other offerings. In either case, we are always pleased. Keep up the good work. Thank you.
The seafood at Legal Seafood is among the best available locally and always has the widest selection of seafood options locally. The specials, our dining guests selected two of these, were truly special and very good. The service was great during our visit and is always very good.
