The signature dish at Legal Sea Foods – really fresh fish.
Legal Sea Foods is a Philly favorite. Surrounded by hotels and near both the Valley Forge Convention Center and Valley Forge National Historic Site, we are at a mall entrance on the upper level of the Court.

Guests get reeled in by our buzz-worthy lounge and comfortable dining room. Half-shell hedonists may sit at our 10-seat horse-shoe shaped oyster bar where slurping is encouraged.

Legal Sea Foods has long proven that a consistent, high quality dining experience never goes out of style. With over 40 varieties of fresh fish and shellfish available throughout the year as well as an award-winning wine list, there’s no doubt why legions of fans have fallen hook, line and sinker.

We’ve received a boatload of accolades including the honor of serving our legendary New England Clam Chowder at every presidential inauguration since 1981.

Legal Sea Foods is always a good bet for a delicious meal and great service. It has never disappointed my family members, church members, or friends. The food is fresh and the prices are reasonable.

Lunch on s bysy holiday, found tge bar service a bit slow. But foid swrvuce was prompt and knowledgeable. The Cioppino was excellent. We even brought the broth home to make rice. Caesar salad was delicious, and plenty for us to share. Chef always accommodates my vegetarian diet, this time using cauliflower, instead of calamari with their sauces. Delicious

Legal Seafood is a consistent place to dine. Good food and great service. I was a little daring with my selection this time and I was disappointed. The blackening spice on the scallops was tooo hot. I wish the waiter would have warned me that it was spicy enough to make your nose run and the kale with ham was ok. But my son's was great!

We have enjoyed the food at Legal's Seafood from the day they opened their first restaurant and fish market in Boston. We were delighted when they opened the King of Prussia location several years ago. The food is always fish and well prepared. We try to get there at least a few times every year. They never disappoint us.

Tables were so close together it felt like we were dining with the people next to us. The sign outside with the specials said happy Hour until 6:30 so we went in 45 minutes early to grab an app and a drink just to find out when we asked for the hh specials that they were not doing hh that night...It was on the hand written sign out front!

I just love to dine at Legal Seafood. I require a Gluten Free diet and their menu in the best of the best. Where else can one get perfectly tender Calamari fried in GF bread crumbs? Fish and chips with GF batter. And fried in dedicated fryers. Legal is always my first choice for an enjoyable dinner and dining eye are so serious about special dietary needs that the meal is served personally by the manager. That's a big deal if you have a food allergy.

Our server Laura made the event special from the moment that she greeted us at the table by acknowledging my wife and I as former diners. She did a great job of serving us from start to finish making the meal even more enjoyable.

We arrived a half hour early for our reservation, but were seated immediately. Service was prompt & food was well prepared. Grilled fish, scallops & shrimp was excellent and so was the fish & chips. My wife is Celiac, so the Gluten-Free food prep is a must. Gluten-free dinner rolls were outstanding! Our waitress, Desiree, was great! We have never left this restaurant and not felt pleasantly full.

Although we must drive almost an hour to get there, I especially appreciate the many gluten-free options available. Since I developed a severe gluten sensitivity about five years ago, I had not found a restaurant that had battered & fried menu items. Here there was a shrimp, calamari, and fish entrée - batter fried - that was great. Their gluten free rolls are also tasty. We have been there twice in a month and will return so I can sample more of their gluten free options.

Reservations cannot be handled. Second time we made reservations and second time we still had to wait. 1st time was 25 minutes and this time was 20 minutes. Food went down hill as well. Has a Red Lobster feel to it now. Mussels were bad and half weren’t open. The blackened scallops were good but my dates shrimp were over cooked and her pasta was undercooked. Maybe they were short staffed or something but it was disappointing again.

Despite a line of people coming out their door, they had our reserved table ready right on time. Our waiter was so friendly and attentive, he noticed as soon as anyone needed a drink refill. Our daughter who has to eat gluten-free loves this place because she can get a large platter of mixed fried seafood with french fries. Not many places have a dedicated gluten-free fryer. They also bring her allergy-friendly dinner rolls. They made all of our meals without gluten so we could share with each other (the first time I can remember this happening since she was diagnosed). We always get great service and fresh seafood at Legal. It's not cheap, but we always feel we got our money's worth.

We made a reservation on Open Table for 6:00. They called us to confirm as well as we received an email stating it was 6:00.
When we arrived 5 minutes early, the host said they couldn't find our reservation for 6:00. I showed them our confirmation email saying 6:00 and they said it's actually 6:30 but they would get us in immediately.
The host team then went to seat all other 6:00 reservations as well as several groups who arrived after we did with 6:15 reservations. We waited a total of half an hour with a reservation. We even asked once if we were still on the list and they still seated people arriving after us ahead of us.
Food was fine. A little overpriced. When you bake shrimp into a casserole you'd think they would cut the tails off of them first. The reservation experience ruined the night and we'll never return.

We didn’t want to drive too far, but get good fresh seafood, oysters, steamers, lobster, pretty straight forward classic items which depend on the quality of the ingredients. We got what we wanted. I tried the lobster ravioli and loved it, 😊banana foster for dessert
