The buzz-worthy Oyster Bar is our street level lounge. Our second floor dining room features panoramic windows overlooking Centennial Olympic Park and Atlanta’s skyline, a balcony with outdoor seating and a wine room for semi-private parties. Nineteen signature cocktails, 28 wines by the glass and 40 varieties of fresh fish and shellfish will get you hooked.

The clam chowder lives up to it's reputation, very rich and exceptionally tasty. The main courses were well prepared but seemed to lack that "pop" of ultra fresh seafood; note though that we did not order anything from the raw bar which would have been a better indication of sea to table freshness. Service was excellent, attentive but not overbearing. Overall, a good experience; I would recommend this place to others looking for good seafood in a casual setting.

Amazing venue I drove 11 hours to visit this place it was well worth it. Me and my daughters loved it! All our meals were fabulous well prepared. It was an Hmm experience

We ordered appetizers calamari and gumbo but it took At least 30mins for them to arrive. The flavorless gumbo looked as if it had been sitting out and calamari was over cooked and drowned in Thai seasoning.
When entree’s finally arrived the dishes weren’t up to par. Microwaveable dinners looked and I’m sure taste better than what we were served. There was no excuse for delay and poor food especially when the restaurant wasn’t packed.
Even when the manager assisted the waitress by bringing an entree he didn’t care to ask why we asked him to return the untouched gumbo.
The waitress didn’t follow payment directions when bill came out and due to my total and complete disgust with the establishment she (Sharde S) got away with tipping herself $28.00 of my money. Not cool will NEVER dine there again!
Oh the drinks we ordered after being seated didn’t arrive until after we paid bill.

Order drinks at the bar. It took forever to the point we cancel the order. We planned to have some appetizers at the bar and finally end up eating them at the table an hour later. Table service average. Never available. Food is spectacular so hopefully the rest can be improved.
Great service! Food was tasty, I just wish the food was hot. Both of our plates were either warm or cold/warm.
Great service, delicious food and it was a lot. I had The Grilled Mediterranean Salmon. It also has a good view to parts of the city.
As always, we enjoyed our experience tremendously!!! We had reservations for 3:45, and arrived about 5 minutes early. We were greeted by a warm hostess and promptly seated. They accommodated our request to sit near a window. Our WONDERFUL server, Nicole, even stayed a little longer than scheduled in order to accommodate our seating request. We give Legal 5 stars on everything from service, ambience, personality and timeliness.
The food was average for the price. Nothing special for the cost. Gumbo was really bland.
What a great evening! Our waitress (who looks and speaks so much like Nina Simone, by the way) took great care of us. The GM, Peter, is doing a great job at managing the restaurant...a finely-tuned machine, from our point-of-view. Very busy place, but we never felt rushed. Food was great and service was impeccable.
My family of 3 went to Legal Sea Foods for a quick evening meal while in the city for the evening. I had a shrimp pasta dish. My husband ate a seafood grill and my 6 yr old daughter enjoyed fish sticks and fries. It was all delicious! The service was great as well. We would definitely return.
I have been to LS before and really enjoyed the food and cocktail. This particular instance, the cocktail was not as memorable - at least not enough to make me order it again. It was somewhat misrepresented on the menu.
The atmosphere and food were excellent. The only couple of misses were the menu is smaller then in Boston and they don't have the lobster bisque at the Atlanta location. I would recommend the Atlanta place but will stick to the Boston location from now on.

Had such a great experience at Legal Seafood. All the food was delicious and fresh. Best of all they were super family friendly. Great kids menu and our server, Najjah, bent over backwards to make our kiddos happy. Prices were reasonable for fabulous food and a comfortable atmosphere. Such a relief after a full day visiting Legoland and the Georgia Aquarium!

I’ve been to this establishment on several occasions and have never had a bad experience. The food is only eclipsed by the professionalism and thoughtfulness exhibited by the staff. The food was prepared and presented as if someone was serving their own family. I’ve been there on Mother’s Day and to celebrate my mother’s birthday along with my fiancée. We all couldn’t have been happier with the experience. I have and will continue to recommend your restaurant to family and friends.

I don't normally review restaurants, however, I felt the need to review Legal Sea Foods to provide inputs that could help them improve. I saw one of my dining companion fish out 2 strands of hair out of her gumbo soup. She did not say anything to our waitress but someone else could have made a scene given the situation. Legal Sea Foods is a relatively expensive restaurant and should implement strict measures to ensure that the food they serve is not contaminated.
In addition, my Caesar salad topped with crab meat was nothing impressive. I had much tastier Caesar salad from many other restaurants.
We made reservations for 10:00. I was pretty disappointed when I arrived and was told that I had to find my own table. We walked around for a few minutes and after finding no open tables I asked someone and they were very helpful in finding us a nice semi quiet location. Our waiter was great bet!!!
Now on to the food. As an appetizer we ordered the Calamari. It took about 20 minutes to come out and was cold. It had a decent taste but the fact that it was cold kinda killed it for me. I ordered the Crab cake and grilled shrimp as an entree. Crab cake was mediocre at best but the grilled shrimp was probably the best I’ve ever had. My date ordered the Surf and Turf and the lobster seemed as if it was sitting on ice before it was brought to the table. The steak was somewhat tender but absolutely no flavor at all. My final bill including to Crown on the rocks was 125ish, which I thought was pretty steep for the quality of food. I’ve heard many good things about this place which is why I decided to go but was very disappointed. I would definitely go back for the grilled shrimp. Hopefully this was just a bad night.
Went for my 18th wedding anniversary. Made reservations and although we were 45 min late we were still seated right away. The food was great we had the warm crab dip with seafood chips. I had the snapper and my wife had the fish and chips. Music as playing in the background and we had a great view of the city. Had a great time will be back.
Fantastic experience. Especially loved the shrimp and grits and the crab dip appetizer.
Very knowledgeable and accommodating for my food allergy child. Props to Peter and his team for a non stressful meal.

Although a very busy time, we were seated 20 minutes past our reservation time, then waited almost 10 more for a server. Then another 10 before we received our cocktails. It seemed our server had more tables than she could handle. As the evening went on she was freed up & gave better service.
The food was very good and came out hot. Drinks were pricey and slow to to be served.
We were in Atlanta for a convention and had a 7:30 reservation at Legal Seafood. We arrived about 20 minutes early and the hostess said they would get a table ready and seat us early. Then at least two other large parties came in and we waited ....and waited.....Fifteen minutes later I went back to the hostess (who could see all six of us waiting) and she fumbled around and said they'd get a table ready and get us seated. Then somebody named Peter said he'd get us seated right away and we waited...and waited...so at 7:30 I went back to the hostess and she gave me the same line about seating us. We were finally seated at 7:45 (15 minutes after our original reservation). They did send out an appetizer on the house as compensation. Our waitress was Heather L. and she was prompt and efficient. The food was good and it arrived in a timely manner. We were all looking forward to experiencing your restaurant but the lackluster treatment by your hostesses really put a damper on our evening.
Simone was excellent. She was our server and knew about all the food, where it was from and paired it with a great wine after a long day's work.
