The food and the environment was wonderful.
Greeters welcomed me and my staff. Food wass great and staff was on time. Great place to enjoy dinner experience.
Ah...there are much better restaurants in the city for $50/pp.
The wait staff is incredible! Very good place to sit down and have a nice meal. I've had better clam chowder in New England, but other than that, you really can't go wrong with the menu.
Seven of us went for dinner Thanksgiving weekend. Three of the meals were very good; two were bland; one was average and one had to be sent back because it was undercooked. This section in which we were sitting was alternately very warm and very chilly. And the wait staff was average, not as attentive as necessary for a table of seven.
Great food and great service. Definitely will go back.
Food was wonderful. Please try the Belgian chocolate mousse. Service and drinks were also outstanding.
We took the kids for thanksgiving dinner. Our waiter was terrific( my 5 yr old son told him he was the best waiter ever). I had lobster, my husband prime rib, daughter had crab claws. Food was delicious! Highly recommend. Worth the $$
The servers at this location are always generous with their time and help. Very friendly too.
The food was great, my wife being a veggie and not eating fish can be a problem. However Patrick was amusing sorted out a great pasta dish with sweet potato mash. The main fish dish was as good as ever. Puddings were spot on. Patrick was a great host and very informative about what to see and do
Great food excellent service .. The waitress Fan was great!!!
I have never had my food served soo fast in all the years i have been there. I Guess it was a great time and i beat the rush :) I will note that time from now on for my lunch time dates.
Had to wait 15 minutes despite reservation. Food is good but took extremely long . Prices have gone up at least $4.00 an entree and the worst part is they took away the after dinner mints. Food came so late that we missed first 20 minutes of the WHO concert. Menu has changed for the worse.
Service was courteous without being overbearing. Food was tasty and price was very reasonable.
My husband ordered the Salmon dinner and felt the portion size was too small. Our other two orders were fine. I left for a moment and wanted a second cup of coffee, told 'it was on its way' and came back to find all my coffee gone!!!! Offer a second cup during the meal and don't forget. You charge a lot for coffee and not a refill during the meal is rather cheap. The waters were refilled without asking. I asked for a coffee refill.
Coming to this restaurant is a splurge for me and my husband and we love it! I love the crab cakes here. I'm such a dessert gal and unfortunately, I have to say that I really did not like the Chocolate Pudding Cake. And I LOVE chocolate. It was just way too rich. Other than that this place is great!
Crab cakes were to die for. Bar was friendly and chatty.
We were seated promptly upon arrival. Our waitress was knowlegeable and attentive. We enjoyed our meal. I would dine here again.
The wait for the reserved table was short, the Gluten Free menu was unexpectedly substantial - and quite tasty. Cassandra, our server was a delight. Her wine suggestion was great (definitely on the list of future buys) and the food overall was outstanding. I just wish that the restaurant was closer than 50 miles from home!
Had a great birthday dinner here. Thanks
Crab cake was not all that warm. Drinks are way too strong.
Food was good, staff was friendly, but I did get the feeling that they were trying to move us along pretty quickly...
Great staff and great food located in a portion of DC with very active night life. Just a few steps from the Metro station. Service was filled with attention to the customer.
Steadily decent without being innovative or special.
Food was good, not great. Service was slow and our waiter had an attitude; probably won't be back for that reason alone.
The food was very good and the service was excellent. What a great night.
We visited the restaurant before a show. Our waiter was nice and thorough. We had no problems with him.
Our food...we ordered shrimp wontons for an appetizer and they were cold on the inside. We told our waiter and he ordered more. I belive a manager (a woman) came over and apologized, which was nice. The second order was very cripsy, as if they wanted to make sure they were cooked thoroughly, but we ate them.
My husband ordered filet mignon (well done)and scallops. The filet was not well done. It was medium well. At that point, he didn't want to send it back or complain, so he asked the waiter for steak sauce to cover the uncooked taste, which he never uses.
The food made our experience bad. Not worth $110
One of our meals came with some rice that was undercooked. Our waitress and the maitre'd bent over backwards to correct this error, and we had a wonderful meal.
This place was great. A little taste of New England in DC. I felt at home again. The food was absolutely delicious.
Poor service. It was probably another busy night.
The food was okay, but for the price you pay, it's not worth it. The mussels and calamari were good. The clam chowder was okay, while the cream of crab was excellent. Crabcakes were good, but nothing extraordinary; the grilled shrimp and scallops were good, the grilled assortment was disappointing. The three fishes were all overcooked and lacked any flavor.
Sadly, the best part of the meal was the service. Our waiter was excellent.
I REALLY ENJOYED MY VISIT. I WAS A DC POLICE AND WOULD EAT THERE WHEN I WORKED OVERTIME AT WHAT THEN THE MCI CENTER AND NOW THE VERIZON CENTER. IT WAS SO CROWDEDOR CLOSE WHEN I CAMETHEN. ITS HAS FIVE YEARS SINCE I RETIRED, BUT I WAS VERY IMPRESS WITH GETTING IN AND OUT IN AN HOUR. I WAS ATTENDED THE GOSPEL CONCERT AT THE VERIZON CENTER WHICH WAS EXCELLENT. I HAD A WONDERFUL EVENING STARTING WITH HAVING MY DINNER AT YOUR RESTAURANT. THANKS SO VERY MUCH. MY FRIEND WHO NOW IS LIVING IN NORTYH CAROLINA WAS ALSO VERY IMPRESSED.
Experience was excellent...Had a reservation and the staff seated us immediately, which was great especially since the restaurant was packed...
I enjoyed dinner tremendously. The food was great and the service excellent.
The service was excellent. Even thou we were late we were accommodated asap. Thank management.
Legals can always be depended upon to serve good seafood -- nothing exceptional, but always good.
Great wait staff...attentive but not obtrusive. Food was excellent! Will return next time we are in D.C.
The "special" jambayla was so salty it was almost inedible. We told the waiter, who told the chef. The chef's response was that it was the sausage. Not acceptable - if the chef knew the dish was salty, he should not have served it.
Perfect Once-A-Year dinner Celebration..
Nadeem's service was impeccable - attentive, polite, friendly and unobstrusive.
The Food - amazing - from the flash fried calamari, oysters, to baked scallop amnd shrimp stuffed lobsters, AND the dessert have been revamped and are greats.
We indulged and Chef Chris did not disappoint.
The setting - we had a large oval booth for three -which was perfect because we ordered A LOT of food.
Our only concern - how will we top this year's event next year?
Many thanks for a great time.
Fantastic food. Clam chowder is to die for. My daughter is on a gluten free diet & they looked after her above & beyond.
