Staff was great and very nice. They must not store their fish correctly because my friend and I both got sick very shortly after eating the lobster.
Our server was awesome
Had a wonderful meal— lobster mac, fried shrimp, scallops, clam chowder were crowd favorites. Gorgeous view!!
Food and service were good. Freezing cold draft coming through the glass doors facing the water on a cold night made things unpleasant. It helped some when the waiter taped the gap.
Food: oysters were delicious, but some were a bit gritty. Portuguese seafood stew was great. Lobster rolls were left half eaten by both of my guests who ordered them.
This Legal is better than the others I have been to recently. Also the bar upstairs is great, especially when there are seats available, which there were.
Food was great! Crab Cake was delicious!! Service was not great at all, major improvements needed. Waited almost 15 minutes just for someone to greet me and at that time it still wasn't even my server. Food came out fine but was told that goat cheese came on the salad when it was actually bleu cheese. Asked for the dessert menu with intentions to get dessert like I usually do with dinner. After the menu was presented. The server did not return and I has to get another server to get her. Since it had been 15 plus minutes without her even checking to see if I had questions about the menu, I was ready to go. She only came back and asked if I was ready for the bill. I would have loved to enjoy dessert and would have loved to come back but not with service like that. A serious refresh training on service is much needed.
Disappointed - Maine oysters were great - I don't usually use condiments but green spice chile sauce was excellent on them. Kumamotos not so great, not sure why as they usually are. Swordfish was slightly overcooked but tasty. However, polenta had seized by the time I got it, had little flavor (no cheese) and green bean salad was a mess - too much of it, some bean were green and vibrant, others were gray and overcooked. Quality seems to be going downhill. Service was good, but its been better in the past overall. Hope it was just an off night.
Good place for a business meal.
We always love the food and service at Legal Harborside. The quality is consistent and the fish is excellent. The View is beautiful !it’s worth going for brunch, lunch or diner.
Everything is great. All foods I had were very tasty,All drinks are too:) And they are not too pricey,
I visited here with my two years old son and four years old daughter.Of course there are some high chairs.
All staffs are very kids friendly.
I had very good time here.Thank you.
Good food and fantastic service from Sage. The seafood stew, lobster, and steak were out of sight good. Would highly recommend
Everything was excellent. Except its way too noisy on the first floor $300 dinner spent mainly yelling over the table to talk to my family. Can’t hear yourself think. Needs work.
The food was great and the service except!
It was good food, it our waitress never engaged with us. She never asked about desert.
Like most downtown's, parking is premium and costly. Paid $28 to park for 2 hrs.
Good location and good service
The bathrooms were the only thing that wasn’t good. Didn’t work messy. Everything else was great!!!!
It was excellent!
Service was slow and pretty perfunctory. Waited 30 minutes beyond our reservation time.
Gia was a perfect server.
Our waiter was outstanding. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the wines available.
Service was very slow, although our server was very kind. Not very good for a date night, but the food was nicely done.
Came here for a group business dinner. We were extremely pleased with the choice. Best night dining in Boston. Must haves - Lobster, Fried Oyster Bellies and Fresh Oysters!! Nice wine list too.
The server took my credit card receipt before I left the table. Pretty much a killer etiquette no-no in my eyes. Will not revisit this chain again.
First visit and we would definitely recommend. Food was great and even though it was very busy our food arrived in a timely manner.
Great service, food was on point, table on the water.. would like to check out upstairs next.
Only one thought- the SPECTACULAR crab cakes need no bed of sauce- on the side if you must please. Devoted CCC (Crab Cake Customer!)
Such a great place. Had a medium sized lobster - awesome, perfect! The appetizer Fried Clams - Good sized and totally tasty, enough to share. Great price and taste for the bottle of wine. Lots of raw oysters- so very good.
Really beautiful view! Great food and drinks...not inexpensive.
Disappointed. Usually love this restaurant. Food and service were below average.
Inattentive host made us wait for 30 min in spite of our reservation - didn't find my name in the reservation list and didn't bother to ask again. "Apologized" after I said I go there VERY frequently and never had to wait with a reservation but didn't want to listen to the questioning or being "yelled" by a customer in his word. "Manager" seemed to see what was happening but did not intervene. Waiter ok but would forget utensils for the dessert. Person who brought the answer forgot to identify which ones were of each type and went away.
Sat a table where there was a water leak from the ceiling which was the only down side of our visit.
It’s a very good experience and we got pretty delicious food. The crab cake is recommended.
Great food and great service. Lobster Mac and cheese was amazing!
Great food. Great service. Wonderful atmosphere.
Brought our family from across the country to experience the Seaport district. They were not familiar with the wide variety of oysters and fresh fish.
Food was excellent, service good but, restaurant gets extremely noisy. Value was good, not too pricey.
Brian was a wonderful waiter. He helped us with drink recommendations and dinner. Very attentive and patient. I would definitely go back!
Great meal and service. A must if you are traveling to Boston.
