We had Wellfleet in Duxberry oysters, a legal seafood sushi roll, and the scallop special. All were absolutely fantastic. Our server was friendly and attentive. Will visit again soon.
Always great food! You can’t go wrong!
Everything was good except the music was so loud we couldn’t hear each other speak. We asked to have the music turned down and they did so. After the music was turned down it was great!
I would not recommend this restaurant based on my experience. Long story short I ordered the Hoison salmon and about halfway through I swallowed a bone that was left in the filet. The bone got lodged deep in my throat and I could not get it out by coughing, drinking water, or eating bread as my google search recommended. I started to panic a bit and when the server came over I mentioned the bone stuck in my throat. She said, “Ugh that’s so annoying!” And took my plate away and gave us the bill. No manager or - what I was hoping for - which was recommendations as to what to do. I figured this might be common. So we paid and I still couldn’t get the bone dislodged. So I spend the next 6.5 hours in the ER and have an ENT appointment to figure out how to get it removed. It is two days later and it is still stuck. I’ll be spending a few hundred dollars at the end of all this to get the stupid bone removed. For a Legals Seafood restaurant you would think there would be better quality control and customer relations to address the issue in the moment. Will not be back but I think that goes without saying.
Great fresh seafood and yummy apps. Our server, Megan D. Was phenomenal. She constantly made sure everything was better than okay. Her customer service skills make her management material. She aimed to please.
Our server Bryan M. was amazing. My Dad has a garlic allergy and they could not have handled it better!
Food & Service was great! I have been there many times and I can always leave satisfied!
Had a great experience on Valentine’s Day. Great job by staff and excellent food.
Always great service and food!
had business dinner meeting with out of town client. good way to show some local flavor without traveling far. Wide selection on menu, good atmosphere. Little pricey for dinner in a suburban (nice) strip mall.
We have eaten at Legal C several times, the food has always been excellent. On this last occasion two of us had the fish tacos and one had the fish and chips. There was very little fish in the tacos, not what was expected. There was an ample amount of fish on the fish and chips meal, the coating on the fish and fries was more brown than golden. In all likelihood we will eat here again because our prior experiences were very good. This past visit was not up to the same quality.
We dine at both Legal Bar in Lynnfield and Legal Seafood in Burlington and neither disappoints.
They are usually our go to "date night" restaurants.
We enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Parking was an issue, however.
All the entrees ordered by our party were excellent. The cajun trout with sweet potatoes and spinach was outstanding and a very healthy choice. Our waiter Mason was personable, professional, and very attentive. Ask for one of his tables when you go!
Particularly friendly and efficient waitstaff. Made it a lovely meal. Gluten free rolls were amazing and made my day!!
