Our waitress Amber was super. She was very attentive and friendly. We would definitely ask to sit in her section again. Our food was great and we will be back.

Everything was exceptional from beginning to end. Food was on point. The only criticism would be the pace of delivery between apps and entrees...i would suggest slowing it down.

The server was amazing! On her game and knew her stuff. She was busy in her section, for sure. The back service (food runner and busser) were professional and polite.

All in all a great experience!

Overall I like Legal C - it is a go to spot for us. This time they fell short but the manager took care of things. 2 of us had the seafood paella came out cold and overly oily. Sent both back and they came back hot. They weren’t refired, just reheated. Normally the paella is great.
Glad the manager was accommodating. Everything else was fine.

I had the Hoison Salmon. I love food and have never sent a meal back ever but if any dish ever deserved to be sent back it was this one. The noodles were RAW and it was swimming in too much sauce. Even the waitress commented that the sauce looked too much. I scraped the sauce off the fish and ate as much as I could because I was hungry.

I have never written a review in my life but this meal was truly insulting and a rip off. Especially in a restaurant with a brand name like Legals.

At our Sunday lunch we were all delighted with our entrees - crab cake was exceptional. My son was impressed with the Sushi box. My husband enjoyed the fried clams. Service was frienly and attentive. Definitely recommend.

I go to the Legal C Bar often because it never disappoints. I tend to have the same grilled shrimp all the time because that's my favorite and I know it'll always be good. I also like going here because you can make a reservation. If you are a walk in, the length of time you have to wait can be long as it's popular. If you go during the "rush hour" you probably won't get a seat at the bar. I highly recommend Legal C Bar.

Our booth was great and we were seated on time. Waitstaff was excellent as was the food. Chowder served hot and the rolls were just out of the oven....loved it1

The staff made my evening when they moved my table after I requested something away from the door on a busy night. It was a special night out for my son and I and our original table was disappointing. I asked and although initially they couldn’t accommodate, the hostess came right over and seated us at another table. Great serve from start to finish. Food is always great.

Excellent Seafood and very good service. They are able to handle allergies very well and have a great selection of seafood that is always fresh.

We go regularly and the staff remembers the allergies and is very attentive to ensure no contamination. The food is excellent and it is a nice casual atmosphere.

My meal was not to my liking but the server saved the day

Terrible. Wait staff lovely. Way too noisy. Food took forever to get and was terrible. String beans drenched in butter, onion rings were pure salt, and fish over cooked.

Best meal yet at Legal C and we are somewhat regulars! Outanding, I had the scallops and my wife had Salmon.

We are frequent goers at Legal C Bar. It's easy to get to in the Derby Street shoppes, and they almost always can accommodate our larger than average party sizes. Great servers, great menu variety (emphasis on seafood), and very good kids menu. Relaxed and casual environment.

Service was excellent , food was good, very limited vegetarian choices.

Very nice waitress (Victoria). Excellent food at reasonable prices. Will come again.

Service was exceptionally slow, with long wait times from drinks to meals. Bartender was hollering into the kitchen, which was very disturbing and unprofessional. Food was average - not a phenomenal presentation given the price of meals. Not a bad experience - average, at best.

We have spent many an evening dining at Legal C Bar in Hingham. The food is excellent each and every time, the service is professional, courteous and very friendly. A cocktail, a great meal and a delicious coffee followed by a browse in the local bookstore... can't beat it!!!

Meal took about an hour to be served. Very surprising.

I would have given a better review if the chairs had not been so uncomfortable. It's almost as if they were selected so the patrons will not be comfortable and the restaurant will be able to turn their tables more quickly. Otherwise, good food. Service could have been faster considering the number of wait staff standing around.

It was very nice. This was a second chance visit, our first time there didn’t go quite well. There were visible signs that they had upped their game! Bob the waiter was AWESOME!!!

Food was good. Service was a little lacking but in fairness to the waiter the place was packed! People were waiting 1 1/2 hours for a table at 6:00. It was a Saturday.
So glad I made a reservation through Open Table. We (party of 4) were seated within 5 mins of our arrival.

Consistently Good!

Food was great, service was ok, front door staff was less than friendly, cleanliness could be worked on. The floors were covered in debris and looked like they hadn’t been touched since prior to opening. Cocktail napkins and cloth napkins being stepped over by waitstaff, definitely a distraction while eating as that was something we kept commmenting on and could have been a simple fix with a quick hoky and section maintenance.

We had a delicious dinner at Hingham Legal C. Appetizers, entrees, wine, and dessert were all excellent. We received great service from Brittany and the whole staff.

The crab cakes were amazing! Amber was an excellent server as usual

Shrimp special of shrimp tacos was amazing! Should stay on the menu! Fish and chips always perfectly cooked. Our server was charming and took very good care of us

Have never been dissappointed at Legal C Bar. Always great food, super bar drinks, wine list and service. Highly recommend.
