Service was exceptional. We were seated 10 minutes before our reservation time. Our waitress came over immediately. Drinks and food were severed in a timely manner. Overall amazing experience.
Had great clam chowder. The paella was excellent as was the crab cake combo. The noise level in this restaurant is quite high which detracts from the enjoyment. Also, the layout of the floor plan is basically one big cavernous room which also is a bit off putting.
A favorite scrod dish is gone from the menu. Food is tasty and presented well but a bit pricey. All wines are priced high.
We love this Legal’s. Great food, ambience and staff. Highly recommend
Very disappointing evening. We had a 6:30 reservation and were seated fairly quickly. Then we waited about 20 minutes before anyone approached us. Apparently someone else was supposed to wait on us. It took another 20 minutes before we received our cocktails. We had already ordered dinner. Things picked up a bit after that. The Caesar salads were good and fresh. My rainbow trout was overcooked. Legals is usually very consistent, which is why we come frequently. However, it will be a while before I return.
Excellent. Meredith who is the manager ALWAYS goes above and beyond to make my experience perfect. Love her. And our waiter is a perfectionist. I think his name is David. Great experience always
I ordered a fish sandwich an there was very very little fish
Doesn't disappoint...from the welcome greeting to the wait staff to the most delicious food, (especially the clam chowder), to the wonderful time spent with family and/or friends!
As a frequent diner at Legal's we made a reservation this past Sunday to celebrate a special occasion.
After being seated at a great booth by the kitchen, we were greeted by our server Taylor and gave her our order, as we were quite hungry.
I let Taylor know that I really enjoy the iced tea and would probably have at least 3 before the meal was over.
This is the last we saw of Taylor!!!
Throughout the experience, a myriad of other staff members delivered our food, checked on us, and refilled my iced tea.
A the end of the meal, our server appeared to drop a check on the table.
Not sure where she was the whole time, but it was not a great service experience.
I guess dessert was not an option for us, and we moved on to another spot, sadly.
We come to Legal's for the whole experience: food, ambiance, and service.
Unfortunately, our experience fell quite short.

Great food and great service as always.
Hostess seated us on the second floor overlooking the bar. It was less noisy, first floor was quite loud. Food was exceptional.
French Fries were breaded. Very disappointing. Chowder very good.
Music too loud.
Everything was fantastic. They were great to accommodate the children. Out of town guest loved the drinks and was impressed with the oysters.
Lovely family lunch. Food was excellent, server was attentive and accommodating. Will definitely be back!

Even though it was incredibly busy on Good Friday, the staff was attentive and the food was delicious!

Our server was awesome - was clearly a LSF veteran. He had some great suggestions, he kept our waters full (may seem odd to mention that, BUT I think it’s important!), and he was funny. Great night all around. I am never disappointed when I come to C Bar.
We always have an excellent meal at legal c bar and return frequently .

Wow - what a disappointment with Legal's. It used to be an icon of seafood but had gone way downhill so the premium prices are no longer warranted. I met my son there for a lunch this week. The service was ok, nothing special - the people were very nice but with a 80% empty restaurant, I still had to wait to get someone's attention.
In addition, I simply ordered a scrod lunch which was a disappointment. The dish's description on the menu didn't completely describe the major ingredients come I didn't really care for ruining the dish for me. In addition, the fish itself was overcooked, crusty on the edges and simply overdone.
This was the Dedham location but I will look for other seafood restaurants now instead of just saying "let's meet at Legals ...."
Ate at the bar. Service was very good. Food and cocktails were excellent . Legal is expensive but the food was high quality.
My family and I love Legal Seafood, but for some reason the Dedham location is not up to par. Our meals were all overcooked. We have eaten at the Dedham Legal before and was better than this mail, but still not as good as other locations.
One of our favorite places. Consistent, high quality dining. Can be somewhat noisy.
Swordfish was overdone and then when recooked tasted rubbery. Spinach had bad aftertaste.
They incorrected ordered more oysters and never corrected it in the receipt despite communicating the error.
Food was good as normally expected. The waitress could use a little help—she was slamming things down on the table from the bread to the meal. She also threw straws on the table. She wasn’t the nicest but she wasn’t entirely rude or disrespectful.
This place never disappoints. Great food and service.

We eat at Legal C in Dedham regularly and always enjoy ourselves but last Saturday night was especially great. We were escapees from the storm, having had no electricity for 2 days and so the warmth and chatter were especially welcome. Robert, the manager, is always so incredibly warm and welcoming--he often makes our visit! We ate at our favorite corner table upstairs on the small balcony and had fun people watching. My tequilla Bloody Mary was tasty and the seafood paella absolutely delicious. My husband enjoyed his grilled shrimp. Overall a fantastic experience!

I love Legal C. The food is always good and the service is great!
Food was very good; Legal C can make almost anything Gluten Free including Calamari. The waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive. A bit pricy though but portions are quite large.
Much too noisy and overpriced for most menu items.

The light above our table was a bit low. Had to use iphone light to read menu. Food and service was great.
We had our daughter’s 35th birthday at legal c bar dedham. We had several people with gluten intolerance & another with soy & dairy allergens. We also had our grandchildren ages 2 1/2& 6 months. Our server Jacob was so attentive to all our needs. We could not have asked for better! He was very accomodating to us all, including the kids.
My husband & i regularly go to this location & have always had great sevice, but this was excepional.Last week we went to LTC with our son & his family. As always we had a very nice meal( including our food allergens) but the most recent trip to legal c dedham outshined even that!

Attentive service in a lively atmosphere. Crab cake appy come with enough salad to make a light meal. Bariatric friendly proteins here!
The olive relish was a little stong for the light fish, recommend it with the trout though.
And of course- have the chowder
