Outstanding service, great location and excellent food! Check it out
We were on town for the AAPA Conference.
When we arrived they had not received my reservations, they had been having link related technical problems.
That said they were very welcoming and set about accommodating my party. We didn't wait longer then 3 minutes. Service was prompt. I would return here.
Headed here for lunch on a Saturday. The fried chicken sandwich was perhaps the best chicken we were served in a week of excellent eating around New Orleans. Service was very pleasant and beer menu worthwhile.
Excellent dining adventure. Food was top knotch and service was impeccable.
Had issues with reservation but they were very accommodating and made room.
Staff was trying but understaffed and took a long time just to get water. Decent food but not impressed by the value for the money.
Not spectacular but solid. The Moscow Mule came in no copper, so not as cold as should have been, but the chicken and waffles were solid, and the server very earnest.
We chose this restaurant for lunch because it was in our hotel and close to our friend's hotel. Had to snag the manager to get seated well past the reservation time. Walkins were being seated immediately. Our server turned out to be the clearly overworked bar tender. A ten top table that arrived after we did all got their food orders before we did. We had to snag another server to get our food, which was dried out from sitting under the heat lamps. It might have tasted better if it had been served when it was plated. Overall food was very expensive for the quality and amount and the servers very rushed and overworked.
Legacy Kitchen ended up being a go to place for my group of colleagues while at a conference in New Orleans. There are many options in NOLA, but we found the personnel at this place to be excellent, enough that we kept going back despite all the food options available.
Staff is not attentive. No one was there to greet me. One of them answered the phone even after seeing that I was waiting to be seated.
Waited for 30 mins to get service at bar. Bar tender never acknowledged us. So we left
Great place for a casual dinner. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Good food. Worth considering and choosing for dinner.
The food was sub par. The noise level is insane bc there are no soft surfaces. The staff was lacking to stay the least. Lacking is an over statement bc they were just never visible. Between hopping out to smoke or disappearing in the kitchen the entire time looking for more liquids to drink. Once the food finally arrived it became very aware that the ingredients aren’t fully described on the menu. Duck nachos never mention beans or chili though that’s the only fast you will experience, the dish also never mentions guacamole. Never saw the pepper jelly it mentions either. The menu also don’t inform you that the three items on the large plates portion of the menu are actually salads, never discuss lettuce. Someone who redid their menus, needs some assistance. The entire experience was rather sad. I live three blocks away and work two blocks away this would’ve been nice to have to my Rolodex of dining options, because I rarely cook. Also, their staff member was too incompetent to not only find a clean table to seats and my guest at but also couldn’t be sensible enough to check me in. That didn’t happen they cancelled my reservation and tried to take the point I was earning away. I will never return.
Came here for lunch while in New Orleans for a convention. The vibe is really eclectic but their menu is pretty typical. Service was a little slow but the restaurant did get slammed pretty quick from the convention lunch period. Our server remained calm and sweet but you could tell she was really busy. Food was good and would come back again.
Food was slow but management and server very apologetic. Worth the wait!
The food and service was good, nothing over the top or above average. If anything the service was better than the food. Nothing was bad, just expected more for New Orleans
They over charged me for drinks and refused to correct the error.
Nice everyday reataurant
Great food and service! Kid friendly
Drinks were good but small
Small plates were great
8 of the 11 entrees we ordered came out cold. Birthday girl received her food 20 minutes after everyone else.
Cold entrees were reheated instead of made fresh turning 3 steaks from M to Well. Made the burger soggy. Baked potato inedible.
Manager acted unaware of issues. Ended up comping $200 of Bill then told us we still had to pay taxes on the ORIGINAL amount which didn't make sense. 20% gratuity was still added to bill.
Very bad experience. Seems like it could have gone well. I don't know what the problem was. Our reservation was at 8pm and restaurant was sparsely seated.
It was just OK and just OK for a $175 dinner for 5 just doesn’t cut it! Sorry but in a town known for its food this isn’t the place to go unless you can’t get into another restaurant
I’d pass on booking this restaurant again. Food was just ok, menu isn’t what is listed on Open Table. They ran out of an entree we ordered and told us 5 minutes before the meal was served. The table had their food 10 minutes before one of or guests, they did give us free soup though for the person whose dinner was late.
They have room to improve here. Great concept though and if the old menu returns it should be better!
Overpriced and overhyped. Bartender who served us basically didn’t want to be bothered with having 2 customers to serve. It really made for a very bad experience, so much that we left after one drink and went to another local place.
Terrible just avoid like the plague terrible service and terrible food stick to the one in Metairie. This location is garbage.
We were trying to find a place on Christmas Day. Open Table came to our rescue! We walked right in and they got our table a few minutes earlier than our reservation. We had crawfish cornbread, turtle soup, crab and corn bisque, chicken & waffles, a Bloody Mary, and mimosa. Everything tasted wonderful! The only reason I docked the Service a tiny bit is because it took the drinks so long. I think the bartender was a little overwhelmed. Other than that, this was a wonderful save to our midday hanger situation with limited options on Christmas Day!
Really enjoyed it. Chicken and waffles were fantastic.
The food was fabulous and the service was wonderful. My 8yo loved everything about the restaurant.
What a joy to come to New Orleans for the first time and enjoy visiting this restaurant!!!! I looked it up on OpenTable and looked at the menu and fell in love!! Will visit again!!!!
Great Food, nice taste and ambiance.
We definitely come back
After coming for a business lunch, we came back two more time of the following 24 hours. It is that good. Salads were well prepared and fresh, soups were clearly homemade, flavors were well developed and the food, overall, was terrific. It can get busy so go a few minutes early or for a late lunch and you will have a terrific meal in a fairly quiet setting. The manager Pam is terrific and they work hard to make sure everything is enjoyable about the experience.
Great atmosphere...great food...great service...all at an affordable price!
Good service and good food. The chairs need to be more stable. My husband slipped and fell backward as his chair slipped out from under him.
Great service and great food!
Great Minted Moscow Mule
I found the menu a bit limited but the food was good!
Love the decor and lighting, very cool yet comfortable.
Very casual place located in the Renaissance Hotel. Great for a burger or salad. Good service and satisfying food.
Great sandwiches and fast service! Very happy
I went there specifically for the Prime Rib which was listed on the Open Table menu online. I didn't even look at the menu, ordered the appropriate bottle of wine only to find out that they don't have it anymore.
The food, the atmosphere and the service were amazing! Highly recommend their salads, BBQ ribs and the deserts. Really a great place to dine in for a family with kids. Very friendly, tasty and cozy. Thank you for a wonderful experience of New Orleans!
