Food - SO average and uninteresting. This could be any mediocre restaurant in NYC
Always enjoy coming here, excellent drinks, from classic cocktails to their own mixes, very friendly and knowledgable staff, and the food is just plain excellent.

Pleasantly surprised. Pass by restaurant several times when walking dog, etc. Made a reservation for Restaurant Week. Very good. Great staff. Definitely go back again.
Justin was our server and he was a gem. Patient and funny. Kind and generous. Even after the restaurant had cleared out, all patrons had left, and almost every table's chairs had been flipped over, Justin still offered to get us some dessert and coffee. Thank you sir. You made this nervous first-date an easy one!
All servers in NYC should be like the ones there, genuinely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
Food is outstanding, great ambiance.
I'm gluten, dairy and wheat intollerant and our server was so sweet and patient trying to find the right dishes for me and working with the chef to find me alternatives. Our server was so nice and came around the perfect amount throughout our meal.
The burger was great as was the maître de!
Unfortunately our waitress had attitude and that changes the dining experience :(
The fish had no taste and the coffee was luke warm.

Hostess was lovely and inviting. It is a pretty and cozy spot. However, I thought the food was good but not at all special. Was hoping for more.
Wonderful neighborhood place in the West Village! Cozy, friendly, and great food. Delicious preparations, very fresh, generous portions. Brussels sprouts salad, crispy seared chicken, gnocchi all exceptional. We’ll be back!
First time dining at Left Bank and went during Restaurant Week. Sooo many great items to choose from—luckily when you dine with friends you can try a wider variety. I thought my soup was under seasoned, but the pasta dishes were phenomenal (cacio e pepe and pesto gnocchi). Very generous portions! We enjoyed all the desserts as well, though my fav was the mousse. Service was spot on and our waitress made great cocktail recommendations. I’ll definitely be back.

Had brunch, food was great, service was warm, we had our child and they were extremely accommodating, it wasn’t too crowded, great location. Very nice time.
A great W. Village place to eat, drink, talk and hangout. Music playlist tends to jazz, and jazz like, played at background level and never intrusive.

Everything from the decor to the lighting to the music to the food to the service was fantastic. The waitress could not have been classier - both warm and knowledgeable (even about the wines). Dishes we had included parsnip and apple soup, oysters, the chicken, and the brook trout. (I had the trout, which was extremely juicy and flavorful). And the portions were huge and the prices quite reasonable. In sum, I think this is my new favorite restaurant. Can't wait to go back!

The food was great but very small portions. We were also initially placed in a very uncomfortable table where my sit was positioned in a busy hallway. Our server was very nice and allowed us to move.

It's always a pleasure to visit NYC and dine at Left Bank. This cozy neighborhood restaurant is friendly with many neighbors stopping in for dinner and a drink. It's reminiscent of New York in another time. However, the food is very serious and shows loving preparation by everyone in the kitchen. I started with the calamari appetizer and the newly added Coq Au Vin. The sauces were exceptional on both and showcased the high quality of ingredients as well as the skill in the kitchen. Pastas are housemade and served perfectly al dente with a variety of sauces. I had the Orecchiette, with sausage and kale ragu. The sauce was slow cooked overnight and the flavors were delicious, creamy and satisfying. The maple syrup pie with creme fraiche is a signature dessert and not to be missed. The wine list is well curated and pairs nicely with the cuisine. Service is always warm and friendly. Left Bank feels like home, and is a gem in the West Village. I love this restaurant and look forward to my next dining experience.
Overall service ,wine reco, vibe and food were great. I have to say the caccio e Pepe was really salty.
Food was really bad. Especially for the price. I wouldn’t feed my dog the steak I️ ordered. Given, We also got a few cocktails and appetizers, but everyone else at the table got pasta as a main course and for $400 I’d say we certainly could have done a lot better.
