Excellent flatbread and walleye. Great service. Small dining area got a little loud when full, but could still have a conversation. Prices comparable to increased cost of food everywhere.

Went there on "a dark and stormy night", really. Dined at the Ledge Rock on April 4th 2023 and it was a stormy night . It was very quiet(few customers) which made the evening seem more intimate. However we have been there on busy nights and the service and atmosphere were the same on all occasions. The food was very good, the service exceptional. It is one of our favorite places on the North Shore and we would hardily recommended it to one and all.

My wife and I stay near here every year on an annual north shore trip, and eat at ledge rock twice each time. We love the atmosphere and the food has been generally excellent over the years. Something changed between last year’s trip and this time. Specially the walleye which, previously, was the best I’ve ever had. This time, it was pretty obviously a much lower quality piece of fish. It just wasn’t good. My wife has the steak pasta which was super bland. It just feels like there is some cost cutting measures with ingredients or they possibly got a new staff, not sure. We’re going to skip the second go this year, which is disappointing because we used to look forward to going here so much.

My husband and I chose this spot for a date night, it was our first time here. We are relatively local. The ambiance is lovely and cozy. It’s quiet and a smaller dining room. Our cocktails were nice. My husband didn’t enjoy his pasta, he ordered the steak pasta, lacked in flavor. I enjoyed the bolognese. The margarita flatbread was ok. We realize this restaurant is more of a touristy place and for those staying at the lodges, however the pricing seems a little inflated by a few dollars per drink/dish, given the portions/flavors. It’s worth it to try if you’re in the area. I don’t know that we’ll be back as it wasn’t worth the hour drive one way for what we received.

Good food but we were seated right inside the doorway in front of the wait staff area. Literally felt like we were IN the kitchen. Very loud Food was good but overpriced for what we had. Salads and burgers for over $150.

Tge menu is fairly limited. I thought the prices were high for what you got. For example the beef pasta dish had a large amount of pasta and not much beef. The service was awesome.

Great food and service. It was our anniversary dinner while staying at the resort. Only issue was the fireplace caused some issues with my wife's asthma.

We stopped at Ledge Rock on our way up North. We dined outside and had a quiet, lovely view of the Lake. Our waitress was attentive and friendly but didn’t hover. The food was very good but didn’t live up to the “hype” I’ve heard over the years. That said, we will go back as the overall experience was lovely.

We’ve been eating at Ledge Rock for years. Always pleased. Friday night: Walleye over done; took forever for the duck sausage to arrive, and was good, but nothing special. Just seemed an off night.

The Waygu steak would have been better without the “charred” flavor. All I could taste was burnt outer layer. Not worth the money for the steak.

Beautiful setting at Larsmont Cottages alongside Lake Superior. My husband really enjoyed the walleye dinner. I had a burger and it was just ok—thin piece of ground beef that may have been a frozen patty—nothing special and certainly not worth $18. We also enjoyed the Brussels sprouts as an appetizer, flavor was good but they could have been cooked a little longer to get them crispy as advertised.
