It was very nice, quiet, safe. Food very good. Staff terrific.
An ambitious menu that sounds delicious but lacks the technique to pull it off. Our server was pleasant and friendly. The environment was nice but overall I don’t think I would recommend it.
Gluten fee options could be improved on for value, regular menu items are excellent
Terrific staff and good food. Really appreciate that everyone wore masks. Felt safe. We’ll be back. Wonderful setting
Fabulous food and great service. Portobello burger is delicious. Finnish meatballs amazing. Can't say enough about the friendly and helpful staff. Great experience.
Filet, Finnish meatballs were excellent.
The dining area environment could use a reboot, air intake system way too loud. Windows to c lake for a few. Margarita in martini glass served was excellent. Roaring huge fireplace going in winter prior to entering dining was cozy. Menu could use a wild unbreaded fish. Salmon is farm raised.
Our waiter was arrogant and would not listen to what I wanted and instead insisted that he knew better then I what I wanted. BAD customer service. The food and drinks were over priced for the quality. I do not recommend
My steak was not seared on the outside and looked pale. Also it wasn’t salted enough.
I realize this place has a rustic ambiance but sitting by the next table were a couple shuffling cards. Can’t tell if this was fine dining or a bar and grill place.
Waiter did a very fine job, and the food fun and good.
Staying at Larsmont for our 25-year anniversary and went to supper. Wow... EXCELLENT Arugula salad, EXCELLENT service and EXCELLENT ambiance! I had the steak (a little tough but still awesome) and the wife had the salmon which was also good! We love this place!
Fabulous....Katie was super!
Excellent as always. My husband ordered steak for the first time at Ledgerock. The filet was cooked perfectly and accompanied by potatoes and deliciously grilled asparagus. I ordered the curry bowl which was light and a decent entree but could have used a bit more intensity of flavors. Overall the service by Danielle was just excellent.
Always amazing!! Food excellent. Service stellar! We’ll be back soon.
As always, the meal at Ledgerock Grill was terrific. Order the salmon. You won’t be disappointed. We ate at Ledgerock again on Saturday and our meals were beautifully presented. We had the voodoo pasta and the curry bowl which were both great. The bread could be a little more exciting but the lingonberry butter is a sweet touch.
The atmosphere, the location and the food was as excellent as ever. What made the evening perfect, for our 1st Wedding Anniversary was our server, Jordan. He was professional, knowledgeable, friendly and attentive.
Very nice highly recommend. I had the walleye two nights in a row it was so good. The staff were very friendly and efficient.
Fabulous experience. Highly recommend this place!
We always enjoy our dinners at Ledge Rock Grill - food is consistently good, wide choice of items on the menu but not too many to be overwhelming, beautiful dining room and views of Lake Superior. Staff is always well trained and polite. Beautiful drive from Duluth along Lake Superior.
Our server Anthony was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and provided great service. The waleye was perfection and the lemon - blueberry panna cotta was a little bit of a “food high” - I’ll be back!
Best parmesan crusted Walleye I’ve ever had! Great service, fun bartender, too.
Food was good and service was very good. Noise level was very high with a small crowd.
Our dining experience was lovely, as always. The cauliflower, walleye cakes are great appetizers, soups were delicious and walleye entree was delicious.
Great! Prompt service and fun foods.
Good food, great setting, one of our regular dining spots. Casual with class.
Great food with quiet ambience, spectacular views,
Gathering of long time friendsp
Wonderful place! Just wish there were more organic fresh fruits and vegetables.
Love the MN hospitality and appeal! Would welcome more California cuisine options, more grilled, less fried and more spice:)
Everything was great, the only recommendation would be to bring the stuffed seafood cannelloni back
Setting and ambience are the highlights, food is acceptable.
A nice natural setting. Had seating outside. We arrived at closing time as they prepare for dinner. They still took us as we had booked it and Open Table showed a reservation for that time. The service was pleasant as was the scenery. The menu could have had more vegetarian/vegan options. All the food we ordered tasted good. The service was made this place special they did not make us feel like we were intruding although they were technically closed. I would like to try other restaurants in the area but this a safe spot to book if you’re looking for a nice meal.
Excellent service and definitely chef's work!! Best restaurant north of Duluth
Great food. On the pricey side, but very high quality. Hard working staff, eager to please.
Great setting. Friendly host and staff. Solid menu. Food well made and presented attractively
Great for vegetarians! So much flavor in all of their dishes! Fantastic service as well!
We tried a few things from the new menu. The best was the cauliflower appetizer with a zingy seasoning and presented on a slate tile with aioli and tangy glaze. It was perfect. The pork belly tacos were OK, but could benefit from a little fine tuning. I would prefer fish tacos - given we are on the North Shore of Lake Superior.
The restaurant was a dining room at a lodge. The room was open and bright with large windows, warm wood ceiling, and kitchen in full view. Seated at the window we could see the lake, manicured grounds, and guests at a fire pit.
Beer selection was appropriate for the season and my wife said her cocktail, a variation on a Moscow Mule, was good. Fried garlic cheese curds came out first. The breading was very good—a light crispy batter. Salad was fresh and bread featured a lingonberry butter. I had Finnish meatballs with gravy and lingonberry jam, mashed potatoes and mushrooms. It hit the spot after days of grill and campfire cooking. My wife had Parmesan-crusted walleye and a delicious wild rice side with root vegetables and cranberry, and a side of grilled asparagus. Fish was cooked correctly, moist, and not greasy. We wrapped up with a lemon pudding parfait topped with blueberries, strawberry, and a marshmallow creme. It went well with coffee and my wife and I liked that every spoon or two would get a bit of lemon zest.
Kate, our server was attentive and warm. I appreciated her pride in pointing out the quality local ingredients in the dishes we ordered. The staff seemed to have a sense of purpose—always tidying and not milling. I liked that. It seemed like a neat, genuine place.
Enjoyed a delicious lunch at Ledge Rock a few days ago. Pork belly tacos, walleye cakes, and salad were all very tasty. Server and kitchen were very helpful and responsive to our special requests. Highly recommend this restaurant.
It was our 20rh anniversary. We had high hopes as they had a new menu and we were staying on site at Larsmont Cottages. The salad came out late. We had to remind the waitress. No compensation. The Asperagas was hard not aldante. We told them ahead that it was our 20th. No mention was given We don't get these travel opportunities much:( Beautiful view however. Staff were very nice too:)
