LeBus East Falls
Awesome! Love the location! Food was amazing-we had a hard time narrowing down our choices. Lots of options for non-meat eaters.
Service was mediocre at best. Our waitress visited our table only when absolutely necessary, never stopped to ask whether food came out alright, and we had to wait to get her attention repeatedly for water, refills on water, ketchup for fries, etc. Fairly frustrating with a couple of hungry and thirsty kids, who, like most other kids, drink only water and require ketchup on most of the food they consume.
Great food but service was a bit under par. They need more help on Saturday nights.
The Mount Airy burger is the best!
Went for brunch with the family - I ordered the eggs Benedict with brisket, and it was the saltiest food I have ever been given in a restaurant. Unfortunately, the waiter never came to check on the food after it was served. I was kind of surprised since we’ve been there before and it’s been great.
Two words, Mostly Excellent. Good variety on the menu, fair pricing for the portion size, excellent pricing when you consider how delicious the meal. Their breads, smokey bloody Mary's and cookies (don't miss the cookies) will keep us coming back.
Other than the smoke alarm going off (thus the lower star for noise level!) and being near the door when it was open to clear out the smoke (it was real cold)... the service was great and the food does not disappoint!
Fresh and Tasty.. good option for a casual dining experience.
Perfect for early dinner before a Sunday evening show at The Met Philly. My friend & I both ordered the Seared Salmon Salade Niçoise and it was delicious. And of course THE BREAD! 😋 And the price was right. Was very uncrowded at 5:30pm, so service was great. Found parking easily on Midvale Ave. All-around super positive experience. I love LeBus East Falls!
This was my third and final time to LeBus East Falls. After 2 prior visits that left me dissatisfied, I wanted to give it a final shot since I live so close (sometimes, third time is a charm, right?). The over-priced food that was brought to my table was over-cooked AND cold (!!). Granted, we may have had high expectations given our reservation was on Valentine's Day. However, when I asked the hostess to speak to a manager on our way out of the restaurant, she told me that the manager was too busy to speak to customers that night and encouraged me to call back the next day. Completely unacceptable.
The food is always excellent! The servers so far have lacked the extra quality to be impressed but not bad to complain. Just wish they went the extra mile. Otherwise, we always love love the food. Reception at the front was nice. Definitely a keeper
Our server was a little bit negligent - but fortunately there was another young woman who took excellent care of us!
Food was very good. I had an omelet with spinach, goat cheese, and sausage. Only complaint is that the sausage was pretty scarce. Otherwise, it was good.
The food was adequate. The sauces for the cauliflower wings was good, the dressing on the roasted beet salad was tasty, although the lettuce greens could have been fresher; and the mussel had good flavor, but some of them were not fresh.
Wide selection of comfort food in a very comfortable setting.
The complimentary bread basket was dream-worthy - the bread was clearly fresh out of the oven, and with a little butter took me over the edge. Note: They sell bread and other baked goods at the front, and the prices are excellent.
I ordered the Mexican Frittata but there was a mix-up and I got the Veggie one. However, I accepted it bc I was hungry and... it was DELICIOUS. The eggs were perfectly cooked - so fluffy and not at all overdone - and the veggies and goat cheese were in perfect proportions. However, it was way too much for me to eat - they must have used at least 6 eggs.
My bf ordered the french toast and a sausage patty. Both were cold. The french toast was tasty, and the sausage had fantastic flavor but was quite dry.
We split a side of corn pudding - delicious.
Overall a good experience and I would go back.
I have some weird diet requirements and I'm happy to say the Le Bus EF managed them all to perfection. It was a quiet evening on the early side. The place began to fill up as we were getting ready to leave.
Both our lunches were very tasty. The breads were amazing, especially the raisin bread! The menu has a great selection for lunch. our server was knowledgable, but could have been more attentive. The restaurant looks very nice, comfortable with lots of light. There's plenty of street parking with a limit of 2 hours.
I love the new Le Bus in East Falls! I’ve had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and have not been disappointed. (Their frittatas are delicious!) It’s a great neighborhood spot.
This was my first time there and loved it.
Beautiful and warm setting and I really liked all the plants. Excellent service and we all loved our meals. Will be back!
Sunday brunch - a cozy table for two.... seated next to a friendly group with 3 adorable and well behaved children. I have weird dietary requirements right now & was apprehensive that this would cause a problem.. Not so. Precisely done to suit my requirements, delicious and reasonably priced. Also - miracle of miracles - we found parking right at the door!
Great atmosphere, food and excellent service. Will definitely return!
Delicious, fresh food and wonderful service. Always an enjoyable experience and fantastic menu options.
The food is fresh and always consistent.
If you liked what you had you'll like it again the next time. We love all the soups on the menu and knowing how good they are it's no doubt that the daily special soup is going to be good too. We always get the Mediterranean Salad which is a mix of roasted vegetables, feta cheese, hummus and olives. It's more than enough for 2 people to share. The hardest thing is deciding what entree to order because everything we've had is so good. I've never had a meal that I didn't like
LeBus provides consistently good food with friendly staff.
Very tasty meal served in a very friendly atmosphere of wonderful flowering plants!
First time there and was very happy with the whole experience. Great food and coffee, and very friendly staff. I have already started recommending LeBus East Falls and look forward to returning.
Absolutely one of the best burgers I ever had. Huge portions , prices were worth the lofty prices for great quality food.
the wine list was really not very affordable and the pour was skimpy
I would definitely go back for the food but not the wine
It may be that my wine was a very high end bottle, I just don't think that is necessary with a burger
The proprietor seems very concerned that everything is done properly and that is certainly reassuring
I would suggest he reevaluate the wine list
Excellent baked goods and ample and tasty salads, soups, and sandwiches. Highly recommended
First visit to LeBus East Falls. We were promptly seated and greeted by our server. We had enough time to look at the wine list and menu. I thought the wines by the glass were slightly over-priced (around 12.00/glass) for a neighborhood restaurant, but the the selection was good. The cauliflower "wings" were different, slightly spicy, but tasty. I loved the risotto with mushroom and my companion's salmon w/pesto cream was cooked to perfection. Portions were generous, so we decided to pass on dessert this time. I will add LeBus East Falls on our restaurant rotation list.
Casual dining with outstanding customer service. The best breads anywhere, are a must, even for dieters. Menu items include vegetarian, vegan, dairy free versions, so something for everyone. This was not my first time eating here, so I was sadly surprised at the abundant salt in my food this time.
Great selection of vegetarian and vegan options. There is something for everyone to enjoy on the menu.
Food Disappointing but okay for comfortable night out. Convenient location. Impossible to park.
Place is lovely..food was a little slow coming out of the kitchen but was well worth the wait. Ample portions that were delicious. Server was excellent. We will definitely be back on a regular basis
Great addition to local NW Philadelphia restaurants. Staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Food is pretty high fat but delicious. Soups are particularly spectacular. Our wait staff person was very slow with taking our order and bringing our check, but otherwise it was a great experience.
We had an 11 am reservation so it was still quiet. We got the burger, duck blt and the shrimp po boy. Except for a quick mix up in which mayo was put on the blt, though requested to be omitted, all food came out as ordered. They were quick to remake the blt with only a small delay. The shrimp po boy was delicious and filling . Half of it I took home and ate cold the next day. It was just as good, if not even better, as it was less messy the next day.
Good food, down to earth service, homemade bread basket, family friendly.
The food is always good and the ambiance is very nice. This visit the service was also good, although I have been there in the past when it was a bit slow.
Extremely slow service even when the restraunt was only half full. The food kept coming out sporadically for everyone at the table. Won’t go back again
I was taken to LeBus in June of this year for my birthday and it was excellent then and then I returned on Sunday after a movie and me and my daughter loved it... I will definitely spread the word.
