We managed to get a table by the window with excellent views over SF Service was a bit too quick for our liking, but I guess it was because we had a late booking and they wanted to close the kitchen The steaks we had were excellent quality and cooked to perfection, I would recommend to share the sides as they were quite large and at $12 each meant we probably left $36 worth of food on the table That we couldn’t eat! Would definitely recommend for a special night dinner

This restaurant is superb. At the top of the Marine's Memorial, it is clean and efficient, with great views overlooking the City of San Francisco. It is definitely one of the best steak houses in the City, and my wife and I think the Filet of Sole fish is the Best you can get anywhere.. The wine list is reasonably priced as is the hard liquor and the food. Not normal San Francisco high prices. Also generous liquor pours. It is absolutely one of our favorite restaurants in San Francisco . Reservations a must, avaiilbe through restaurant and Open Tablet.

Took my fiancée here for her early birthday dinner. Main reason was the view however they did not guarantee a seat by the window. We were fortunate enough to be seated at a window table next to the live pianist (whom was great!). They have a wine menu but if a cocktail or spirit was desired a trip to the bar by the entrance or an order to your server would have to be requested. To start we had some small dinner roll balls that were at room temperature, butter balls, grilled garlic, and balsamic vinaigrette for fixings as well. Shortly after ordering we were presented with a bleu cheese salad with bleu cheese dressing. Unfortunately neither my fiancée nor I really liked bleu cheese. I wish they would’ve asked. The calamari appetizer was good, only one marinara sauce. The steaks were decent as well, portion sizes were good. She ordered the prime rib that came with au jus and horseradish dipping sauce and I ordered the t bone. Also want to mention the dress code that seems to be strict on their website but upon arrival we did see a couple individuals at the bar area in jeans and t shirts.

The Leatherneck Lounge never disappoints and this time it was the most special ever. Everything was fabulous, every single item we ordered was the best it could be and made for a perfect surprise birthday celebration for our grandson. This is the best steakhouse ever!

Great views & great service. The steaks were slightly over-cooked— one ordered rare was a brownish-pink in the center—and the scallops were a bit fishy. But we loved the sides & the general vibe.

As members of The Marine Memorial Club we have eaten at The Leatherneck Steakhouse on numerous occasions. The past dinner consisted of some very excellent Clam Chowder and French Onion Soup for starters. We were both very pleased with the flavors of each. An Iceberg Wedge with Bleu Cheese was up next. Again we both enjoyed the flavors and freshness. Then came Duck and Prime Rib with a shared Mac and Cheese. All three dishes were excellent. We were seated at a window seat with excellent views of the City. We will return as this is the best value in San Francisco.
