Léa Linster is one of the most celebrated figures in European gastronomy. In 1989, she made history as the firstand still only woman to win the prestigious Bocuse d’Or, just a few years after taking over her family’s restaurant in Luxembourg.
In 2017, her son Louis Linster took over the kitchen, bringing a fresh, contemporary vision to the restaurant while staying true to its roots. Under his leadership, the restaurant has reached new heights.
In 2024, Louis was named Chef of the Year by Gault & Millau, and in 2025, he earned his second Michelin star—an extraordinary milestone that cements his place among the top chefs of his generation.
Adding to the restaurant’s unique character is Louis’ wife, Njomza, who was awarded Hostess of the Year in 2022.
Together, Louis and Njomza Linster continue the family tradition with passion and precision bringing a new era of excellence to a storied name in fine dining.

    Eine ganz außergewöhnliche Erfahrung. Das Ambiente, der Blick ins Grüne, der Platz für die Gäste ist der erste Eindruck. Die verschiedenen Gänge mit Amuse Geule und mehreren Nachtischen fast nicht aufzählbar, aber nie zuviel, und immer eine Geschmacksexplosion und in Kombination mit der Weinbegleitung sowohl für das Getränk als auch das Essen eine Erweiterung dessen was an Geschmackserfahrung möglich ist. Obwohl am Tag vor unserem Besuch bekannt wurde, dass Louis Linsters den zweiten Stern bekommen hatte, sehr zurückhaltendes freundliches Auftreten. Die zwei Sterne entsprechen unserem Eindruck und unserem Erleben. Vielen Dank ans ganze Team

    absolut einzigartiges Erlebnis; tolle präsentation der verschiedenen speisen, viele geschmacklich perfekt abgestimmte genüsse von den amuse bouche über die hauptspeise bis zum dessert. ich war begeistert

    Der Service war hervorragend, die Qualität des Essens auch. Wir hatten uns allerdings auf eine eher traditionelle Küche à la Carte und "à la Lea Linster" gefreut und bekamen leider ein asiatisch inspiriertes Einheits-Menü, das uns nicht so richtig schmeckte. Wr haben das sehr bedauert!

    The service was exceptional, and the food was nothing short of exquisite. However, the only downside was being seated near the exit and kitchen entrance, which resulted in constant foot traffic that diminished the sense of intimacy.
