Le Vendome

We had an amazing Christmas evening at Le Vendome! I didn’t expect some of their hospitality gestures which made the evening extra special.

The Emirates Palace is a magic place...the terrace is awesome!!!

Has to be of the best buffet experience in my life. I have never seen such a large buffet spread and so many kinds of cuisine all together, so much so I didn’t know where to begin eating. My family and I only wished we have an extra stomach to fit in all the good food! Despite being such a large buffet spread, I can say almost all of the food are of up to the best standard on the taste and quality. I would recommend this to anyone traveling to Abu Dhabi to make a lunch reservation here!

If youre visiting Abu Dhabi and staying at the Emirates Palace expect it to be luxurious.
The food was good not outstanding choice was good and a fair international range including Arabic/Mediterannean, Indian, Italian and Chinese. A good range of salads for those watching their weight, but lets face it when your going to a buffet style restaurant your not worrying too much about that. A large dessert selection too!
Easy to overload your plate and end up wasting food so choose small portions if youre planning on tasting everything.
Drinks arent included and the cheapest option is a 1.5l bottle of water at around 45 AED.
There is a dress code (smart casual) too which is a bit surprising for a buffet restaurant but it is a five star hotel so you can expect they require a degree of appropriateness for what you wear.
Not as big a selection as many buffet restaurants in the UK but the food was ok, felt soft drinks and water should have been included!

I've been several times at le vendome to have dinner during the years and everything was always literally perfect.
This time instead service was not excellent as usual, waiters do not pay attention to us, they don't take away our dirty and empty plates and don't replace fork and knife.

We entered the restaurant pretty late for our appointment, yet they still accommodated us. As it was buffet, we had filled our table to our stomach’s delight. We love the foods. Its not usual that you would like all of the food in a restaurant but they didn’t disappoint. There was one staff that was so courteous to remind us twice that buffet is closing soon so we could get more food if we wanted it.

The variety of options of food was excellent and the service fro. Aftab and his colleagues was amazing.

Everything was perfect, except for Food and not worth paying for the food they have in there.

I have been here half a dozen times, although the last time was about a year ago. And it is worth the higher price. But I am surprised that the seafood selection did not get beyond shrimp, squid and grilled fish. I was looking forward to oysters and scallops, like you had before.

It seems that food is not good and doesn’t have special feature. Any of hotel can do more better than it and more cheaper. I accommodated in Emirates Palace yesterday (August 16). This dinner is my worst experience when I traveling in UAE. I wish that the restaurant can be improved. The price can be more expansive and hotel should make sure that food quality is the best.

But far now of my experience last night, it charged me 272 AED and food such like that worst. I can say that it is totally not valuable for that price.

The Emirates Palace is great hotel and service is brilliant that I have ever been, but except this dinner.

I enjoyed memorable night here.
Good foods and wine.

The food was just eh. The view was nice. Overall, the meal was not with what we paid for it. I was really disappointed.

Very disappointed. The food are not good. I can’t imagine food served in the palace are not comparable with the food in other restaurants. Highly not recommend this restaurant. Although this is buffet, even plain water was not included. With such a high cost of the meal, this standard of food was totally not worth.

Beautiful room. However quality of food has gone downhill since last visit. Most main courses tired or left under lamps too long. Felt like More people taking pictures of food than eating, and large tour groups arriving en masse. Least enjoyable meal of our trip

Beautiful location and stunning interiors. Food was moderate as there was limited choice for a buffet. The noise level was higher than expected as there were many babies crying.

Disappointed as the guards at entrance were rude and would not let us enter the hotel just because we were walking in and not driving in. We were staying in the hotel opposite. They refused to believe we had a reservation and not willing to make a call to the restaurant to confirm our reservation. Just said go back. After a very unpleasant exchange of dialogues the superviser finally came and let us in. So the evening was a mess before it started. Food was ok..nothing to go gaga about. Turkey was dry. Prawns a bit raw..no soft drinks or coffee Inc. Constant loud banging noise as some work going on. They should have at least paused that while dinner was on.

The palace hotel was lovely to look at impreesive in terms of grandeur and Architecture.

Quality of the food is a bit disappointing, given its pricing and recognized as the palace buffet. Already expensive buffet and even water costs extra. Coffee costs extra.pretty lame.
