Established in 1937, Le Veau d’Or reopens under neo-bistro extraordinaires, Chefs Riad Nasr and Lee Hanson.

Le Veau d'Or serves a $125 prix-fixe dinner menu Tuesday - Saturday and an $85 prix-fixe lunch menu Tuesday - Friday. We can accommodate up to four people per reservation in our main dining room. Unfortunately, we don't push tables together for larger parties, but our private dining can seat up to 20 guests.

Our bar is available for walk-ins where guests can enjoy lunch, dinner, or just a drink!

Our intimate dining room means we are unable to adjust party sizes once a reservation is confirmed. Decreases in party size will be subject to a fee of $50/seat.

Finally, as a courtesy to other guests, we kindly ask that you book reservation times when you can join us. If you have no intention of joining us at an available reservation time, please allow others the opportunity to book the reservation. Thank you for your consideration.

The food and service here are outstanding. Everything we ate was good, and our server was very patient explaining everything and giving recommendations. The pre-fixe itself is a pretty good deal but the bill can get pretty high pretty fast with some drinks. I would absolutely recommend this place, and will definitely be back.

This was the best meal I have ever had. Seriously, with the possible exception of a place in Paris called Chez Denise, this was the most authentically French meal I have had in New York. Also, the service was wonderful - approachable and helpful. The restaurant was amazing looking too, with excellently spaced tables and lots of vantage points for people watching. So enjoyable and delicious!

A perfect night out. Service was exceptional, warm, and attentive (but not overbearing), the food and cocktails/wine were fabulous, and the space was gorgeous.

The full experience here was fantastic. Everything we ate was perfectly cooked and unique. The menu is a little adventurous and given the prix fix, it’s definitely a splurge. The serve was incredible though and we had a really great night out here!

The setting, food and service is lovely. I came for lunch and enjoyed the light riff on escargot (tomatoes at the bottom and tiny toasts on top of each one) and the duck. I just think that for $85 a person, there ought to be an amuse bouche or a shared salad or dessert included. (There is bread and butter, though.) Two lunches plus one mocktail each rounded out to $225 before tip. Again, lovely lunch but I do think it’s overpriced.

Our family of four had the loveliest, most magical time at Le Veau d'Or. Warm and friendly service, perfectly executed (but not fussy) cuisine, and a refined but casual ambience. It was exactly what we hoped it would be. The rhubarb tarte was extraordinary. Don't miss this gem!
