Food: We loved our dishes and food was well done.
Ambiance: Inside was great. It is in a multi use space next to a t mobile so not a standalone. We did not eat in the back outside but would like to next time.
Price: The food felt slightly overpriced for a restaurant in Dripping Springs. The drinks are very overpriced. I don’t think I’ve ever paid $16 for an old fashioned outside of a downtown type place in Austin/LA.
Servers: Everyone was great.
Overall I’d go back for good food but unfortunately wouldn’t go to just have drinks due to the markup. There’s plenty of good spots to get a cocktail that are in a better price point.

So Sunday's is ONLY for the Sunday Supper. It is good, however the online menu didn't make it seem like that, was under the impression you could do either/or. Our proteins were overcooked and a little dry, but the taste was good. Advice to them: change out the plates for the family sharing, they are too small as they are appetizer plates, not dinner plates. The asparagus didn't even fit on it. Addtionally, need to have more options for champagne by the bottle on the menu that is not over $120 p/bottle.
Outstanding experience in Dripping! High-end "downtown Austin" type quality of food, service and cocktails with a very Country French feel in the Hill Country. So excited for this new option in fine dining!
All meals were excellent, service was excellent. Was not thrilled with their whiskey sour though. A bit too much on the sour side for me but I didn’t send it back. Noise level upstairs was a little quieter than the downstairs.
Everything was perfect at Le Vacher. The staff were welcoming, attentive and provided us with socially distanced seating in their upstairs space which has very high ceilings and proper ventilation. My wife and I ordered the Butcher's cut beef and this was just the right size ans prepared exactly as we requested. This was accompanied by their Frites and salade verte which we both agreed were about the best we've ever had. The fries were crisp, well seasoned and served in a metal cup which retained heat. The salad was lightly dressed with very fresh, clod lettuces and other items and was superior to a usual side salad. Our only mild disappointment was the vanilla cake, it as somewhat dry and the buttercream was a bit too sweet. Overall we loved our experience and are delighted we now have such a quality restaurant choice here in Dripping Springs.
My husband and I went to eat at Le Vacher for our anniversary. We had the pork jowl, duck spaetzle, and lamb rack. The food was amazing, and service was top notch! Will definitely be returning!!!
From the front door greeting, to meeting Chef Jacob, and our final goodbyes with staff, this first visit to Le Vacher was terrific. We had an outdoor table reserved, and were initially disappointed to find none were available when we arrived, but the staff were so welcoming, and attentive to the evening being our anniversary, that the overbooking soon had little consequence on our overall experience. Our lead waitress, Caroline, was really pleasant, well informed, confident, and attentive to our questions about the dish preparations and portions, wine pairings, and desert options. The cocktails (Raspberry Gin Fizz and Finalamente) were elegantly crafted and displayed. We started with Pomme Croquettes and Steak Tartre - both very exciting and decadent. The duck, mushroom and spetzle dish was prepared to perfection to traditional European standards, and the bouillabaisse was transcendent - and this in central Texas Hill country! There were also charming surprises in presentation that made the evening very special (gratis champagne and a nice chocolate note on our desert). Contrary to French tradition, the to-go containers for our salads and dinner bits were entirely recyclable/compostable demonstrating an awareness beyond just hosting guests, and the dishes were still excellent the following day.
Dripping Springs and Austin are very fortunate to have this culinary and genuinely well done cultural addition to the dinning choices in the area. It is not a cheap meal - and you really do get what you pay for here (just don't sit outside, we later learned).

The food was good - french bistro style. nice interior, but i noticed all the hard surfaces - might be loud in there once we can all go back to dining out.

Ordered steak Med/Rare, was overcooked, chicken was burnt on the skin (really bad) but the inside was tasty. Redfish was very salty and overcooked. Cocktails were good. Sliders and breads were amazing. Staff was good, just need to get the small kinks out, waited to long to order after we were completed with appetizers and wine came after the dinner was served. We will go back and try again, we took pictures and posted and everyone asked why we didn't send back the chicken, it was that burnt. I will say yes on recommendation but will tell them to wait awhile.
Fantastic food, service, and the buildout is beautiful! Very well done! I would like to see more vodka cocktails added to the menu but everything was excellent.

First visit to Le Vacher and the Sunday brunch was a way to try out different menu items. The redfish was a hit with my 9 year old and the different types of bread was also a winner. We can’t wait to comeback for dinner! So glad they decided to open up in. Dripping Springs!

Definitely one of the best experiences we've had dining in or out in over a year. High quality in all ways. A little loud. Some improvement in timing and consistency. Some experience in wine menu but tiny tiny details comparative to the lack luster experiences we've had since shut down. Was so glad to see good spacing, safety above all. A high quality place comparative to Seattle or SF. We will be back.

Impeccable service. Lovely menu. Scrumptious food. This was my second visit
We live in the area of the restaurant and were anxious to try it as a good restaurant is needed here. We are an older couple and wished we had been asked if upstairs was ok before the hostess led us up all the stairs as I have a bad ankle. Our server was friendly however I wish she had showed a little more personality and enthusiasm. Our food was all good, however our dessert cookies were a little dry. We will be back to try again.
Our party of five loved every dish- and we tried several to get a good sampling. The appetizers and small bites were all a hit. The roasted chicken was absolutely perfect. Cassoulet was a huge hit, with intense flavors. Redfish with creamed chard was nice. Steak was just slightly overdone. Crab add-on was a bit rich.
Chocolate shake for dessert was a delight. Wine list was superb.
It was pretty noisy earlier in our dinner but seemed to quiet down later. Servers were very nice, very efficient. Owner/chef paid a visit to make sure all was ok. We can’t wait to go back. A great addition to dining options in hill country

Amazing new dining experience for Texas Hill Country. The overall experience was outstanding. The menu is simple and complex all at the same time. My wife and I are already planning our next visit.

Nice selections of breads and toppings to start, wife and I both had the Prix Fixe Sunday menu. Wagu beef as one of the entree’s (Redfish and a Hatch Chili Chicken were the others), choice of 3 veggies and Creme Brûlée to finish things off. Add one glass of Rosé and the total w tax was still under $100.
Very nice inside, not a 5 star but certainly 4. Very clean. A pretty drive from San Antonio

Came for a date night. We enjoyed the food and thought it was good, but the desserts were just fine. The cake did not seem freshly baked. We were unhappy with our service. My husband ordered steak, and the server did not ask him how he wanted it prepared. He also charged us for a second Diet Coke (which he never brought), and charged us for an espresso after he informed us it was not available because the machine was broken. The service doesn’t match the level of the food and the price point.

This is a new restaurant, they are still working out the kinks. Staff wasn’t super knowledgeable the drinks and food. Had young staff behind our table talking very loud the entire time we dined. The gin cocktail I ordered was not great, sour, without much else to it, made it hard to drink. The steak options were poor for the price, cheap cuts that were priced far too high. Skipped dessert, nothing jumped out at us.
Fantastic food and atmosphere. Will be back again for sure.

Le Vacher has promise. The fish dishes were cooked well. The steak, the wagu sliders, and the fries seemed like they were not cooked to order. (Also skip the chicken boudin - it seemed like it was a perfectly acceptable boudin blanc that not well served but the frying and topping with with bbq sauce i.e. resembled a chicken nugget). I appreciate the local sourcing on the tomato salad, but the tomatoes were incredibly unde-ripe. The service was enthusiastic and kind, but unpolished. All of that being said - I can see them working out all of the kinks and being a great restaurant.
La Vacher had a magical ambiance, delicious 5-star food, and attentive staff. Even the head chef came out to check on us. It was a great place for our girls night. Please go and check this fabulous place out!

On the negative side , out of 3 entrees, one was out ( even though our arrival was 5:30 pm and the other which was supposed to be Wagyu beef turned out to be skirt steak
Finally , wine prices were stiff: 4 times wholesale cost does not bode well for a restaurant in the suburbs
I hope le Vacher improves as I look forward to having a nice restaurant in our area
