Le Taj has a range of options on the menu including various types of naan or bread, such as tandoor naan and vegetable naan. You can also find various types of rice, as well as appetizers, such as the aloo tikke, samosa, seekh kabab and the chicken malai kabab. I went there with my girlfriend on Valentine's day. They imposed us an valentine's day menu (which was not indicated on their website nor on the phone when I confirmed my reservation). It was expansive and the food seemed like industrial food (shrimps not so fresh, a lot of fried things, etc.). For the service, they forgot to serve us our starters. After a while we had to ask for our food... This restaurant wants to show the public a nice image of a luxurious restaurant, but it still has to improve its food and its service before.

The food was very good across the board. The buttered chicken was delicious. Only downside is rice is not included in the price of the entree.

....but had the impression the whole evening that our table has to be used 3 times per evening; we had to slow down our server. food is quite good though

I am an admitted regular diner at LeTaj, because there's never a slip in the excellent quality of food or service. This week we particularly enjoyed a couple of our favorites - Saag lamb and Shrimp Xiacuitti. Outstanding!

Nice atmosphere with decour from the Expo 67 on the walls. A buffet at lunch, this restaurant turns into a place for fine dining Indian cuisine. The lamb and lentils was very good. We went for a New Year's Eve special menu, which was very good and an enjoyable evening. One of the nicest places for Indian food in Montreal.

Ce n'est pas, selon moi, le meilleur resto indien à montréal, mais c'est tout de même très bon. L'endroit est très beau et les serveurs sont gentils. Par contre, nous avons reçu certains plats qui étaient presque froid, ça c'est moyen. Sinon, vaut mieux réserver.
