   The food, service and atmosphere at Le Stelle are excellent and they have a terrific wine list. If you’re looking for fine dining in Nosara, this is the place to go.

   They have an extensive menu (maybe too many choices??). Location was a short drive from Nosara and parking was easy. Restaurant was lovely and service was good. Lights were too bright and music was loud and not appropriate for the setting - pop and rock remixes that were a little too loud.

   We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Le Stelle Restaurant and Wine Bar. The food was exceptional, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the wine selection was outstanding. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the owners were gracious hosts who made the experience truly memorable. Highly recommended! - Michael Flutie

   We were a group of 8 adults dining on New Year's Eve; the $200.00 USD pp menu being 'set' with a few options for each course. The menu was in both Spanish & English, however, one entree item was listed in Spanish, but not offered as an option on the English side. Cons: - other than water, which was promptly re-filled, we waited almost 90 minutes for our pre-dinner cocktail order - no apparent waiter assigned to our table for almost an hour - appetizer course started to be served BEFORE our pre-dinner drinks had arrived - the second course preceeded the first course the moment our pre-dinner drinks were served - 2 dinner entrees were incorrect - rather than the beef which was ordered, pork was served (not an option not on the English side of the menu) - at no time was anyone on the management team circulating to see how patrons were faring; when approached, the manager was apathetic and defensive, blaming staff or staffing issues for the poor service (she was working on her computer when she was approached while the lone bartender was attempting to cover an entire restaurant) - a gentleman who appeared to be 'in charge' remained at the open kitchen chatting with the chefs, not ensuring patrons where being cared for and at one point, leaned over the serving area to have his cigar lit! - @ $200.00 USD pp, a modicum level of service and dinner quality is expected regardless of whether or not it's NYE. Pros: - delightful experience entering the restaurant (neon lit performers on stilts & fire eater) - lovely venue and general ambiance - food was generally good when it came; dessert options were not good The entire experience was disappointing. As a group, we are widely traveled, living in various parts of the world and one of our party has worked in restaurants in more than one country. None of us have EVER had such terrible service and an apathetic attitude from the management. There are better meals to be had, with better service and no drama in Nosara.

   Very nice night! It was for our daughter’s 18 birthday! Thank you Carl and your wife to make this dinner unforgettable! The meal were delicious! And it was a perfect atmosphere!

   They had posted on OpenTable that there was an option to order a la carte or off their prefix menu when booking our reservation for Christmas Eve but when we got there they said it was prefix only despite me showing them the incorrect information online which was expensive and being that it was Christmas Eve we didn’t have a choice but to stay despite not wanting to do prefix so I felt a bit swindled

   Excellent experience. Normally when restaurants try to do lots of different types of food they don’t do anything well. Le Stelle did multiple things really well. The truffle pizza was outstanding and this comes from a New Yorker who knows pizza. The Caesar salad was also excellent. Most of our group ordered sushi and they did that was excellent also. Portions are a very healthy size so we made the mistake of ordering way too much food. Oh, the service was excellent also. Really attentive. Very happy to write this review.

   Where casual atmosphere meets fine dining in Nosara. What a beautiful place, lovely decor, you do not feel you are at a beach restaurant, but yet, you are in flipflops and shorts. This awesome restaurant offers this unique experiece, A MUST if you visit Nosara. A wide variety of drinks and coctails; and a very impressive menu, where you can have burguers, pizza and pasta, or more exotic plates such as escargot, wagyu meet and truffles. We were a table of 11, 4 teenagers, 2 kids and 5 adults; from 5 diferrent nationalities and we all enjoyed it. The teenagers later went to enjoy the firepit and the kids walked around the pool while us adults ended our night with some limoncello and amareto. Worth every penny, excelent service and ambience. My comoliments to the chef. We will come back.
