Le Sirenuse Miami brings all the genuine Mediterranean flavors, dolce vita style and old-school service traditions associated with its home base of Positano, Italy to a gloriously restored 1930s Miami landmark on the shores of Surfside.

In this palm-fringed ocean front setting, both elegant and intimate, Chef Antonio Mermolia presents a menu of classic dishes from the legendary Amalfi Coast resort as well as new recipes debuting at this location.

Big disappointment. My husband ordered the scallop appetizer special and the pasta special; both were supposed to feature black truffles. In actuality neither dish had a trace of black truffle flavor and were instead covered with chopped, burnt cauliflower. I had the tuna with tonnato sauce; unfortunately, the sauce was nonexistent. And my roasted veal entree was tough.

I don’t mind spending $500 for a dinner for two, but this was not a meal that I would have enjoyed at any cost. Not at all like my memory of the original restaurant in Italy.

The place is beautiful, the food good, the prices over-the-top and I would have rated higher but the experienced was spoiled from the moment the hostess escorted us to our first table. The place was practically empty and we arrived a few minutes earlier than our 12:30 pm res. The hostess escorted to a table way in the back away from the great big glass doors overlooking the ocean and the terrace. When I told her that i wanted a different table, she told me in a very “imperious” way that “this was it since they had 85 reservations for lunch.” I answered back to her in my most “authoritative” way and told her that “I want to see the manager”, with that she asked me why and I told her “i did not like the table and her attitude.” She replied, “that will not be necessary” and escorted us to a table by one of the large glass doors overlooking the ocean. Her attitude was not necessary, but I have found that many South Beach restaurants employ these youngish individuals who forget that the reason that they have a job in a fancy, upscale restaurant is that we, the customers, pay their prices. There are tons of great restaurant in Miami Beach to be bothered with “attitude”. The manager should fire her for been rude. I have been several times to the original restaurant on the Amalfi Coast and they have a wonderful attitude and treat you with kindness.

The Place and service is wonderful, however the food is not a real italian food.
My wife ordered a penne and the red sauce was watery and sour. My pasta had no taste at all.
We dined at the original restaurant in Positano and I can say for sure, the food is completely different.

The setting is beautiful. That is all I can say that is not totally negative about the restaurant. First we were made to wait for 1 1/2 hours for our table. The staff at the front was disorganized and chaotic, and there were three hostess for a small restaurant. the waiter had no idea of anything having to do with the food and was also disorganized and wandered around as if he was in a dream. He could not answer any questions and told us he had only been there for 4 days. The menu is small and repetitive with few choices. this restaurant has nothing to do with the famous one in Italy, including it's menu is not designed by an Italian chef and the people preparing the food apparently have never eaten in an Italian restaurant. The food was terrible. The wine pour was laughable. Nothing was good and this was after we all spent a great deal of time trying to figure out what we could eat since the menu makes no sense. I pointed this all out to the manager, who also has no idea how a fine restaurant should be run.
I would not recommend this restaurant to an enemy. if you must go to see the beautiful room, do yourself a favor and just have a drink at the bar. When you finish you need to go to a real bar and a real restaurant.

One of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. They seated us 45 min past our reservation time. They promised to comp the drinks we had while waiting then they were on the bill. The service was very slow and spotty although our server was very nice. And most importantly, the food was bland (but looked really pretty). The ambiance and decor were outstanding though. Something was definitely off with the execution the entire night.

The food was barley warm both scallops and burger. A restaurant of this caliber that is using the name of the grand
Le Sirenuse in Positano should be delivering. 3 of the 4 wait staff had filthy food stained jackets with a manager on duty that clearly didn’t care. Send them to laundry please or don’t wear them dirty. Do yourself a favor and maybe the general manager should send everyone to Italy to see how the service level and neatness they should be delivering. The table was not even cleaned off between dessert.

Overall we loved this restaurant. One complaint. The specials where not stated with the prices. My husband ordered branzino which we eat all the time. Little to our surprise the price was $70. which we thought was outragous for this dish. Guess we should have asked first, but who would have thought.

Very good service and a nice atmosphere but the food was terrible. I would not recommend the halibut entree, it smelled and tasted spoiled and we had to send it back. Also, the other two dinners came out cold. I would not go back to this restaurant.

I can not say how long my husband and I waited for our evening here . We dined at the original restaurant in Positano and were thrilled to have our own outpost in our home town of Miami Beach !

Well we were wrong ! From the horrible table we were offered having “made your reservation on Open Table ‘ to the manager of cuisine ‘s attitude it was a disaster.

Lesson learned the copy is never as magical as the original and beware Open Table user some restaurants apply to the use of this service but definitely don’t give subscribers any accommodation!

Food, especially the egg plant parmegina appetizer, was good. Ambiance remains stunning. Service was rushed even though they were barely 20% occupied.

Frankly, what horrible and very unexpectedly disappointing experience. I have both stayed at and dined at Four Seasons Hotels all over the world. This dining experience was terrible. If you expect to receive your table at your "confirmed" time you will be very disappointed. I got my table more than 30 minutes late. Then you would expect them to be able to make an outstanding pasta given the restaurants parent company is from Italy. Wrong. It was barely warm. Then to fix it they the just recooked the same dish. Resulting in tough clams. Unbelievable.

The room is beautiful and the food was great, unfortunately, service was horrible. Had bread plates, but never offered bread, took forever to get our drinks, after dinner we were forgotten. Was disappointed as it was a special occasion and first impression of the room was great, however experience was not what we were expecting from this caliber of a restaurant.
