Our server, Bradley, was phenomenal. He was very attentive and answered questions thoroughly, and was very accommodating to our two children. The fresh snapper and Bajan skillet were amazing.

Not well organised, reception on arrival poor, waitress was helpfull but didn’t fully understand the menu , the dressing on the tuna carpaccio was highly spice and killed the taste of the tuna , the duck was dried and difficult to eat with poor flavour, however the chips were unexpectedly good , also the California Chardonnay was good and served very chilled in an ice bucket as we requested.

Hello Tim, this is Annalisa, the owner. I'm genuinely SHOCKED by your review as I personally received you and your wife when you arrived before our opening time, sit you and changed your table 2 times as you requested, came to check on your table 2 times during your dinner and said goodbye to you when you left. NO negative comment was raised by you and your wife any of these times and no food was left in the plates. I'm at the restaurant every single night and check on every guest to make sure everybody leaves as happy as we can. I'm very sorry you missed this opportunity not sharing your comments with me in person yesterday during your stay and only complained about it in writing. THIS IS NOT FAIR

Le Shack restaurant located on the east coast of Barbados is a true culinary gem that delivers an unforgettable French Caribbean dining experience. From the moment you arrive, you’re warmly welcomed not just as a guest, but like a friend coming home. We began our meal with a trio of starters that set a remarkably high bar. The ceviche was fresh, zesty, and perfectly balanced—bright citrus dancing against the subtle sweetness of the seafood. The yellowfin tuna carpaccio was a work of art: thinly sliced, delicately seasoned, and drizzled with a light dressing that enhanced rather than masked its buttery texture. The surprise standout was the smoked flying fish mousse—a creative and intensely flavorful nod to the island’s national fish. It was airy yet rich, with just the right amount of smokiness, served with crisp toast that complemented each bite. For mains, we tried the fish of the day, which was grilled to perfection with a light herb butter and paired with seasonal vegetables that celebrated the local produce. The local tuna Indochine—seared and served over a fragrant bed of basmati rice with an Asian-inspired sauce—was nothing short of stunning. The fusion of flavors was bold yet balanced, and the portioning generous without being overwhelming. The ambiance at LeShack is intimate and relaxed, with a touch of rustic charm. Whether you’re dining under the stars or enjoying the subtle breeze from the open-air setting, it’s a place that encourages you to slow down, savor, and indulge. If you’re seeking a culinary experience that captures the spirit of Barbados through a French lens—with service that feels like hospitality elevated to an art form—LeShack is not to be missed. We left full, happy, and already plotting our return.

Key lime pie hit the spot too!! A some complimentary champagne to celebrate our anniversary was nice as well. If you are near, you should go.... if you do not... well your loss
