This was our second dinner at charming Le Rivage. The food is always very good and the prix fixe menu is a great value. Perfect service. The jazz piano player (Silverman) was wonderful.. We had a lovely time and will be back when next into NYC for a show.

A great authentic French restaurant in the heart of Broadway! My friend and I had the prix fix luncheon - a real value for $46. I had never seen so many choices under a prix fix plan! We both loved our selections: appetizers were the seafood crepe and escargots, entrée trout almondine, dessert crème caramel and chocolate cake “fondant”. The staff made sure we were out on time to catch our 2:00 matinee. I highly recommend!

We had a late dinner after the Moulin a rouge show at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre. There was live music and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The food was delicious. I had the pate and my husband chose the escargot. For our entrees we had the bouef bourguignon and he had the Steak Frites. All perfectly cooked. Cheesecake and crème brûlée for dessert. We left happy and full.

Very sorry to hear this even more so on our 40th anniversary week! Did no one help to try and resolve this or make amends? This is very unsettling and unusual in our habits even more so than the dislike of the food. Please reach out as we can not tolerate such a bad review and blemish.

The wait staff was terrific. They were attentive and on top of things to get us to our show on time. The prefix is the way to go. Pate, escargot, French onion burger was terrific. I should have gone with the duck (which I’ve had before) the special soft shell crab fell short for me. Won’t stop me from returning.

This is not my first time here but still good. My daughter and i shared everything for a pre theater lunch.I had a delicious salad with lardons and a poached egg which was so good and the escargots and a nice basket of bread. Service was excellent and my glass of rose was chilled perfectly and very good. One of the specials was sautéed soft shell crabs and that was delicious served with rice and carrots julienned. We also had the French onion soup burger with perfect fries and enjoyed both. I was so full but did have the crème caramel but my daughters crème brûlée was definitely better. Service was good and the hostess was also very nice. This is a worthwhile good deal.

We had the best waiter I cannot remember his name unfortunately. They never let out water glasses go low. The service was outstanding and the food oh my goodness it was amazing!!!! We will be back again for sure. Thanks to everyone who helped make our night so nice.

We love Le Rivage and have been coming here for years. It is always, always excellent. Perfect for before theater or after. The food is so delicious. Wonderful service in a quaint, quiet atmoshpere. The Croque Madame is the best we have ever had. The soups are heavenly and the fish dishes are always outstanding.

C'est merveilleux! If Paris had a restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere like "Cheers" and escargot to die for, this would be it! The Coq au Vin was also on point. Come to this lovely establishment, have the prix fixed menu and their signature drink. You will thank me...well, Mme Gigi and the Le Rivage staff! Recommend!!! And looking forward to returning!

Always love Le Rivage. It's my wife and my favorite restaurant in NYC when we visit from Philadelphia, We got engaged there 12 years ago. I've been a patron for at least 25 years. Traditional French food and a terrific mom and pop atmosphere that is sadly lacking in most establishments today. This was our first time back to NYC since the pandemic and the restaurant is still spot on in quality and service. Excellent value and a great pre or post theater spot. Plan to return again and much sooner now that the pandemic is behind us.

Everything from the service to the food was absolutely spot on. A very nice option for a dinner before they show that is a little off from the craziness a Times Square, but a very easy walk to the theaters.

Le Rivage is our favorite restaurant for before or after a show! The food is always delicious! The portions are just right. Chef Paul’s sauces are delectable! The wait staff is well trained and attentive. They are well aware that you are on your way to a show. They keep the meal moving but at a comfortable pace. We love this restaurant!
