EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE!
Sorry... just Needs some redecorating
Great authentic French food in a fairly ordinary setting. The kicker -- food came to the table hot, on plates so hot they were still warm when we were finished eating. A true keeper!
A local gem. Superb cuisine at reasonable prices. They offer the same quality food as the other much higher priced French Restaurant here in Boca Raton.
Food was delicious, service was outstanding and really good value for the price
Delightful dinner - peaceful and delicious Dover sole and a delightful Bordeaux. Lovely restaurant as always
The meal was fine--nothing close to what I was expecting from such other highly rated reviews. For me, coming from Boynton, it was a bit of a trip, and it just didnt feel worth the drive. If I lived nearby, I could understand it being part of my regular places to go.
Excellent food and service. We were there during COVID19 it was very quiet. Only a few patrons but it did not take anything g away from an enjoyable meal.
Simply delicious. We’ll be back for sure.
Paulette was our waitress and she was wonderful. The food and service were outstanding.
We felt safe being at Le Rivage to celebrate our 60th anniversary. The staff wore masks, the tables were sent far apart. We look forward to returning in the near future.
Absolutely fantastic! Delicious food, exceptional service, reasonably priced.
First time here drawn by positive reviews with which I concur. Once inside you forget completely about the dubious location in which this gem of a restaurant is located. The restaurant is high in charm. The food is genuine and very good and the service is attentive and helpful. And to top off the positive experience the prices are reasonable. I look forward to dining here again.
Fabulous dinner, fabulous service celebrating our 31st anniversary! Highly recommend!!!
Very quiet because of covid fears, but service was great and prompt. The food was very good. Servers wore masks. Dover sole was delicious as was the steak. We loved the chocolate mousse because it was chocolatey and not sweet.
We’ll be back with the family.
Paulette was so accommodating and explained the menu to us as it was our first visit
We will definitely return for another delicious French dinner
Good food great value !!
Awesome dining experience. Back there for dinner again from 2 days ago.
Wonderful from start to finish. We were a group of eight and had a lovely round table in the corner. Every one enjoyed their dinner which included sweetbreads ( hard to find), branzino (delicious), crab cakes ( full of crabmeat and no filler) at a small upcharge and veal medallions (also an upcharge).
Really liked the prize fixe dinner option; four courses and a great value considering the quality.
Will go again gladly.
Excellent. Good food service and ambiance
Never disappointed. I had scallops (appetizer plus main course, altho' I thought I was getting the small scallops that I had the last time -- however, even the large ones were fantastic). Hubby had his usual foie gras poele (warm good liver) and frog legs (he actually gave me one! which was delicious). Our friends had the onion soup/scallops and escargot/can't remember! My chocolate mousse, as usual, was outstanding. Good wine by the glass selection. This is my favorite restaurant. Only complaint: I had specifically requested to be seated at a table served by Paulette but this didn't happen. I'll be sure to call and request in "person" rather than include in my reservation on Open Table.
The food was delicious and we had a wonder experience. The desserts were spectacular. Our four course meal was very well priced.
We try to eat at Le Rivage several times during the 3-4 months we’re in Miami Beach. And we are never disappointed. This evening, however, may have been the best of many superb dining experiences. The maitre d’ , server, and bus staff were excellent. The food (duck w/ cherry sauce, Scottish Salmon, the sound level was better than most restaurants at which we eat. What a treat!! Merci, beaucoup. C’etait fantastique! jusqu'à la prochaine fois. Dr. Steven Goldman
This was my first time at Le Rivage. It was highly recommended by a friend. It was lovely. Service was fantastic, food delicious and well portioned. (French restaurants can be skimpy in portions. Not so here.)
The price fixed menu is a great deal. Highly recommend.
The service and the food is excellent. I have been there more than once and have been improved with the staff and food.
Superb meal, done to perfection. Excellent wine. Service was also very nice, very attentive to our needs.
This is a favorite restaurant of ours, and it is always consistently marvelous! I would like to give it 4 1/2 stars! The duck with cherry sauce was superb, and our service was excellent! Enjoy!
Our experience at Le Rivage was excellent.
Food was very good and the Service was excellent.
Everyone of us loved our food choices. The one newbie in our group said she was sure to be back as her lamb chops were outstanding. I had one of the best duck dishes ever with absolutely no fat and sliced for easy eating. Another friend loves the sweetbreads which he orders every time he dines there.
We did feel however that there were too many extra charges added to the $38 price fixed menu and that is a real concern to others who have eaten there and are not in a hurry to return.
We have dined with several friends at LeRivage who have lived in Paris and they love everything about the restaurant. The prix fixe dinner is well worth it. My husband and I have had a variety of soups, appetizers, main courses and desserts and all have been excellent. A treasure in the far east of Boca Raton. Drs Fran and Bob Smith
We do so enjoy dining here. The food is delicious from the 2arm bread to dessert options. We did one full dinner and one ala carte and were able to share. Lobster bisque was split in the kitchen..such a nice touch. We both wanted the Nantucket bay scallops, a special this evening. The plate has mashed potatoes, an asparagus , carrot soufflé and sautéed spinach. The sauce for the scallops was buttery and included herbs and shallots. We split a chocolate cake for dessert. And all washed down with a reasonably priced French Sauvignon Blanc...excellent!
This is a fabulous restaurant. A hidden gem. Food is wonderful, never disappoints.
Food is always good Intimate setting we will return freqently
Great food & service. If you like a French restaurant this is the one to try.
A wonderful evening!
An attentive server, Suzanne, and an excellent meal!
Consistently great. Service prompt and efficient. Food terrific. Always bring out of town guests here with satisfaction guaranteed. One of my favorites.
Food and service were excellent, the restaurant was quite busy and therefore we were part of everyone’s conversation. There were some unusual looking people there too.
In my party of six each of us cleaned our plates. Delicious.
Have been coming here for many years and have never been disappointed. We suggested the restaurant to friends who joined us, and they too were amazed. Since hubby and I lived in France for over 4 years, we know real French cooking, and this is as authentic as you'll get here in south Florida. We toasted the new year with kir royals. Appetizers included escargot, the large sea scallop for me, and foie gras poele for the 2 fellas. We recommended the Dover sole for our friend, and she loved it. Her spouse had the special Halibut (which I had last time), and he too loved it (and his wife's sole as well). For a change I had the special Bay scallops, and they were perfection. Hubby had the frog legs, and they're wonderful as always (totally different than what you get at other restaurants where they're huge and not cooked well). Desserts included peach melba, chocolate mousse, cheesecake and creme brûlée. Good wines are also available. I think we've tried almost everything on the menu over the years. Truly their Dover sole is the best and what I usually end up ordering (while the server will normally filet it for you, we filet it ourselves). The 4-course menu at $38 (with several items having a supplement) is the best deal in town. Le Rivage is our favorite restaurant, and we hope Chef Paul never retires!!! Also, we adore our server Paulette and always ask to sit at one of her tables.
I LOVE this charming little restaurant! Food is great, service outstanding, ambiance and noise level good too. Very good value. I also love when you order something, it comes with vegetables already and plated beautifully.
Great food, great service. Our waiter, Oliver, has taken care of us multiple times and is always attentive and humorous.
We heard that Le Rivage was wonderful and couldn’t wait to go for our New Year’s Eve dinner. It was delicious from start to finish. I recommend the French onion soup and crispy roast duck with cherry sauce. The waiter was very professional and helped to make the dinner even more pleasant. If you love me a quaint French restaurant that is reasonably priced restaurant, don’t miss out on this gem.
