It's always enjoyable to dine here. The menu remains consistent and the quality was excellent. The service was excellent
The service, food and ambiance were all perfect. We will return.
Been a fan for almost 20 years. I love this place. The BEST match stick fries. (Ask for well done). Great service. Terrific food. Always a pleasure.
Excellent experience ever time we go!
One of my favorite restaurants in Westchester. Food and service consistently excellent. The presentation of the dishes are beautiful. Classy elegance that’s perfect for all occasions.
Excellent service. Timing of courses was perfect and every dish delicious. Can’t wait to go back!
Have been going there for many years. Food is predictable and service is good.
Excellent food and attentive service. Not many people in the restaurant unforutunately but it made for a quiet meal which was nice
As always, the food was extraordinary and service impeccable. This is truly one of my favorite restaurants and the $21.95 price fixe lunch makes it a very affordable lunch option! (I did not do the fixed price option but my companion did).
Took my mom to lunch for her 90th birthday. She was familiar with Le Provençal but it was my first time. We sat outside under their awning on the sidewalk on a beautiful day. The food was great - the mesclun salad was perfect. Light coating of vinaigrette on the greens then adding the dried cranberries and walnuts on top. It may sound silly to praise the salad but so often they are drowned in dressing. The mussels and the John Dory as entrees were also great, meeting my raised expectations after the tasty salad. The server was attentive but did not hover or otherwise be disruptive (Mom and I both hate that). We had such a lovely time.
Recently spruced up with new bar area and decorative details throughout the restaurant, this little gem continues to provide excellent French cuisine. Specials never disappoint: especially scallops, veal, bronzino, beet salad. The attentive and welcoming service contributes to the reliably excellent and cozy experience. Love this place!
Outstanding French Bistro with food and service that takes you right to the center of Provence.
We’ve been there before. The food was very good as we remembered it to be.
Excellent eclectic menu with lots of special items.
The food and service were excellent. What a darling place.
We have been dining at Provencal for many years. Virtually everything on the menu is excellent. The food and service are consistent and the dining experience is wonderful.
Solid and delish
Delicious food, particularly the crab cake appetizer!
Beautiful space - great light, spacious and elegant. Food is delicious and beautifully presented. A great variety on the menu, as well. Many daily specials! Waitstaff is attentive and friendly. Can't wait to go back!
Mussels outstanding. Shrimp excellent. Duck were poor, fatty and very small portions.
Great services, food delicious ,definitely we are coming back
Hard to fault anything in this old favorite. Our first visit since Covid, but despite that and ownerhsip change it’s still one of our favorites in the WORLD. Well worth the occasional 250 mile trip from Cape Cod. As Michelin would say “vaut bien le detour”
The pommes alumettes are still to die for.
Nice food, great place, very reasonable wine list.
Father’s Day , great food and service, little noisy, but it was a holiday evening
We moved away a few years ago, so during our recent visit, we were delighted to find La Provencal open and as delicious as we remembered. We were especially happy to see Tom working there, as in the past, and enjoyed sharing happy memories with him. My favorites, the lump crabmeat salad and the steak au poivre were excellent as always... and we look forward to returning again on our next visit to the area!
Have dined at La Provencal Bistro many times. It never disappoints!
Delicious food and great service, but sitting outside on Mamaroneck Avenue was not great. The traffic was very noisy although the section blocked off was attractive.
Great food and service. Quaint but spacious interior.
great and consistent.....New owners since we were there last but have continued the traditions!!
Very nice and intimate.
Delicious food and great service!
A lovely evening out with my wife for our anniversary: the service was prompt, courteous, and helpful, the food and wine were delicious, and the ambiance was just right.. definitely looking forward to going back!
Glad to see restaurant doing well! Excellent dining experience and friendly staff!
Everything was perfect for the four of us. I took a shot with the hangar steak, which
is ordinarilly tough but tasty. Provencale's was tender and tasty. The others had salmon,
and loved it. Service was impeccable! The new owners are doing a great job.
Everything was excellent. Just wish it was a little quieter.
We thought we would try it for restaurant week.
That said.....I will definitely go back & try their full menu.
I enjoyed going 2 times during Restaurant Week and once the week before. Consistently excellent! Wonderful choices, gracious service, delicious food. I’ll be back soon. Wish they would add sautéed calves liver to their prix fixe lunch!
Great! Mussel !
The meal was excellent. The food presentation was beautiful. There were a variety of choices for each course. The wait service was responsive to our needs and requests.
Loved the ambience and the food was delicious
Le Provencal extended Restaurant Week, which made it a great deal. We had the best service we probably have ever had there. The food is perfect and we love the ambience
