Excellent food, nice ambiance, nice birthday dessert gesture!
the food and service at le provençal are always fabulous. authentic french food with lovely waitstaff and managers. will definitely be a regular in our restaurant routine!
There were 3 of us. We all ate something different - scallops, veal chop, beef bourgeon . All were excellent. We also had 3 different appetizers - beet salad, crab cake, and French onion soup. Wonderful! We shall be back soon.
Lovely prix fixe lunch: good choices, beautiful presentation, and delicious. Quantity could be more generous. Friendly, efficient service.
Tables are way too close together, and noise level could be mitigated by acoustic tike on ceilings and/or fabric walls...
Very good bistro selections, well-prepared, with many choices. Service was very courteous.
Another stellar performance by the owner and staff of our go to/favorite spot. The very warm welcome was followed up by a passionate pair of martinis. Hard not to order at least one of the tantalizing specials. All served at the perfect temperature with wine I enjoy assistance picking out. With an adventurous gleam in my eye, I am told about new additions I am unaware of that may help make the experience most appealing. We order dessert, coffee and some balanced liquid joy to complete our time with these lovely folks. Can’t wait for our next visit. Cheers!
We ordered off the menu rather than the specials. My husband JOHN DORY filet looked like a stiff board upon the bed of spinach. It was hard and dry to taste....not freshly cooked! My dinner was satisfactory.
Haven’t been here in a long time and now i don’t know why. Was great!!
Fabulous food - all four of us loved our dishes (and we split the quinoa entree as an appetizer, which was an amazing decision). The service was kind and attentive, we were well-spaced with excellent COVID protocols, and the restaurant was bright and cheery. We had a really great time!
Dinner was delicious and the waiter was attentive but not rushing us for ordering or leaving.
We’ve lived in Mmrk 7yrs and finally got around to this delightfully satisfying experience; we basked in the warmth of Fr onion soup and I swooned for my veal; our cocktails and wines complemented very well, despite the heavy handed rum; dessert was disappointing as the mousse was fridged cold and cloying. Was a happy 19th wedding anniversary!
We felt very safe and comfortable. Table spacing was pretty good. Bouillabaisse was amazing.
the service was better than 5 stars. We were blown away!
Some wonderful items on the menu such as escargots, steak sandwich... delightful staff.
Excellent food wine and service
The ideal French Bistro. Everything was just right!
Provencal is one of our favorite restaurants in the area. The food is traditional French bistro and is consistently great. The service is excellent as is the service. And the pricing will not put you in the poor house. We highly recommend Provencal for a relaxed date night, a family dinner, or a celebration.
Excellent as always. One of the best restaurants in the area.
Excellent French Food - Not too heavy - Just right - Feels like you're in Paris
Great selection french favorites , properly prepared and cooked
Amazing French Bread ( a must !! for a french bistro) - authentic thin cut home made french fries - Great Food quality
Authentic French desserts
Ambiance is super charming and inviting
Excellent & attentive service
Great Gem of a restaurant - We go thee often and drive from Queens NYC to come here - that's how much we like it
Great food and great friendly service
Another good experience at one of our Westchester French favorites. Table spacing makes you feel safe in the current environment. Service was attentive. Food (3 apps and 3 main courses) was just simply delicious.
This was a birthday meal and I enjoyed it completely.
Great food, service and overall dining experience. Highly recommended
The best french restaurant in the area, I’m a frequent customer of Le Provençal Bistro we always visit them and I cant tell you how amazing and fresh the food is. You have to see it for yourself and eat the food it would amaze and blow your mind and your taste buds.
Thank you for the great customer service.
My wife and I like this place a lot. It’s our forth time eating there. Escargot was great as always. My wife had the duck for the second visit in a row! My Bronzino was perfectly cooked!
We will be back
I went here with my friend for dinner on Valentine's Day. The service was impeccable, from the host, to our server, to other restaurant staff we encountered. Our meal was quite delicious, we started off with the Avocado and smoked salmon appetizer, which was mouth watering. For dinner, I enjoyed the sauteed salmon with lentils and my friend had the hanger steak. My friend is usually a slow eater, but I was suprised how quickly he ate his meal, he kept saying it was delicious. We had the banana bread for dessert--excellent choice because it was luscious! They have the perfect wine and cocktail menu, very easy to navigate and wasnt overwhelmining at all. I had the Aperol and my friend the French Martini, which you must try!!! The dessert wine was a nice complement to our dessert. Our highest thanks and appreciation to our server Thomas, who was extremely professional, courteous and accommodating. I would definitely visit this restaurant again.
Many restaurants charge more on a holiday or have a limited menu. Not Provencal! As good as ever despite a full house! Tables spaced far apart, food and ambience excellent, and service professional and attentive! Can't wait to go back!
Le Provencal Bistro is a great neighborhood restaurant. A nice menu selection. I would prefer to listen to French music. Not a fan of the current music playing. We went for Valentine's Day dinner, there wasn't an ambiance for the occasion. There should have been flowers, love music, decorations and more.
I would go back for lunch.
Delicious food, friendly and attentive service in an intimate setting; what more can you ask for?
Le Provençal is a quaint bistro with great service and amazing food. My husband and I went there for dinner on Valentine’s Day. I had the duck confit and my husband had the coq au vin. The duck was so tender that almost all of it slid right off of the bone as soon as I cut a piece. The bottle of bordeaux that we had was wonderful as well. My only suggestion is that they should dim the lights to make it more romantic, especially on Valentine’s Day. We will definitely be back for another dinner and to try the brunch.
Only problem I encountered was the fact my main entree was a cold
Excellent food, drinks & service. Everyone is very friendly.
Table were widely spaced and afforded good conversation over good food. Will try again.
Delish food and wonderful service. Would highly recommend.
service is also great
friendly owner .. wait staff obviously invested in making the dining experience pleasant
please bring back the chocolate cake.. that was GREAT
Food, service and atmosphere are excellent. Highly recommend to couples families and more
The place was great we went for brunch. I made the reservation for my moms birthday so I put down the occasion on the open table reservation option and they brought us out a desert and sang to her without asking! The food was great and I would definitely go again.
