Our first night in Montreal after a long day of travel. We were looking for a memorable first dinner. The oysters were terrific, and both our mains were quite good. The duck confit was terrific, in fact. But our waiter was clearly having an off night. Another server brought out wine, and it was like our waiter had never seen us. He took away my wine glass, so I had to ask for another. (The table for two is pretty small.) But when we asked for a refill, he didn't even know (or look) to see if our wine had arrived - which it had. Small mistakes, but several of them. Good food, an excellent martini, a bright (slightly noisy) environment, an attractive crowd. With just slightly more attentive service, it would have been a great meal.

Amazing experience for a family birthday celebration. Food, service, ambiance, singer were all above expectations. Very highly recommended.

Service hors pair, ce qui est de plus en plus rare. Nous avons dégusté le canard confit et le steak d’agneau. Les 2 étaient vraiment délicieux. En soirée il y a de l’animation, il faut évidemment aimer le style crooner, mais le chanteur est excellent. À essayer, sans hésitation.

Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Steaks genau richtig und alles in allem ein sehr schönes Ambiente mit gutem Service. Wir können es auf jeden Fall empfehlen.

Loved this place! The food was excellent. We had a charming server, Emily. Service just a tad slow in getting our check but this did not dampen our experience. Highly recommend!!

Thank for making my girlfriend's birthday an amazing experience. The ambiance and staff ware amazing. The food was delicious. Shout out to our waitress who went above and beyond.

Les Pois Penche has fabulous decor...red velvet comfortable chairs, white tablecloths..but not stuffy or pretentious at all....you really feel you are in France. Excellent service and the best and most memorable boullabiasse we've ever had. This restaurant is known for its seafood. And it did not disappoint. Also a wonderful fresh herb salad with pomegranate seeds. Delicious! Highly recommend.
