We were very pleased to have picked this attractive wine bar in Sunnyvale. The service was excellent, very attentive, informative and prompt which we appreciated as we were attending the comedy show afterwards fairly early in the evening. The Paté was so great, slightly infused with truffle so not overpowering, a wonderful light, creamy texture and plenty of delicious grilled toasts to accompany as well as a fruit compote. The Shishito peppers were perfect! My duck confit was delicious, tender inside and crisp outside. The Moules Mariniere were also quite tasty with a slightly spicy Thai flavoured broth. Our wines were all delicious and well priced. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Le Plonc and will go again!

The restaurant itself was very good and food outstanding, but the trio they had singing was just too darn loud! Think Edith Piaf on overdrive. It was difficult to have a conversation with my dinner partner, the singer was singing so loudly!

Swank surprise in Sunnyvale. Decent pate and nice wine selection --- with a nice easy duo to entertain. They could have performed at a slightly lower volume to enable conversation in this tiny venue, but it was tolerable. A tidge pricey, but all in all, I'd go back.

Lovely place: excellent wine and food. On Saturday and Sunday evenings there is live music. Very enjoyable and excellent service, too.

Nice ambiance with Sunday evening jazz. We liked everything about this place except the prices - the drinks were reasonably priced but the food was easily 50% higher than comparable wine bars. The charcuterie and cheeses were $8 each and for modest portions.
