Great experience can't thank the chef and his team for the hospitality enough. He knew my girlfriend was vegetarian and offered a fried mushroom take of the fried chicken option and it was great. Big and rich with that heavy handed French food, was really great experience. Was visiting from Mpls and a fellow cook was very happy to eat there and little bird for my first time in Portland and after years of going through your cookbook. Thanks again, can't wait to try your new venue once it opens

Simply the best customer service I've ever had at a restaurant. We booked several weeks ahead for my husband's 30th birthday and when we got there it was clear why! It's a small space with excellent food so it's understandable why they book up early. We were seated immediately and I liked how even though some neighboring tables were near by to ours they had seating arranged for optimal privacy and comfort. I'm pregnant and asked for a non alcoholic cocktail and was served one of the best drinks I've ever had - they made me a kiwi, lime, coconut spritzer with fresh squeezed kiwi! It tasted tropical and light and I appreciated their creativity.

We split the crab and pork belly appetizer which was fantastic. The bread and butter they had at the table was fresh and addictive. For our main courses I had the seafood daily special - a salmon dish. It was very generous in terms of proportion and the flavors were spot on! My husband got the duck which he also loved. We also split a creme brulee for dessert that had such a beautiful glaze on the top.

Service was sublime - our water cups never even got halfway empty, when getting up to use the restroom you would return to your napkin freshly folded by the hostess. It was all these little attentions to detail that made the meal even more special! The cherry on top of the whole night was when our waiter brought out my boxed up leftovers he said there was a little present for us and he pulled out a onesie for our baby (that's still in my belly). It was so sweet I almost cried. It said Le Pigeon above and Dirty Birdie below. Adorable! Thanks to all the staff at Le Pigeon who made my husband's 30th birthday so memorable and I can't wait to put our baby girl in the onesie when she's born!

Gabe and Team continue to amaze me with their creativity and execution! Food was fabulous! Help with matching wine to our selected dishes was perfectly on point. Keep doing what you do :-)

A very Portland location with exquisite food and amiable service. Our foodie friends enjoyed the meal immensely as did my wife and I. I had the five course tasting menu while my wife had the crab starter and a salad which she found sufficient. We did not do a wine pairing but opted for a server recommended red which with replenishment carried us through the meal. The quality of the food and service was similar to Gary Dankos in San Francisco. We will return.

It can take some effort to get a reservation as this place is still very popular. I would say worth the effort as the food was excellent. Our party of four each ordered a different entre, from fried chicken to beef tongue lasagna bourguignon and all were superb. My only hesitation is that the place is really small and tightly packed. Just makes it hard for me to focus and enjoy the meal fully.

We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious. We really liked our waiter and the staff. They were attentive and friendly. My ravioli was delightful. The menu was unique and appetizing. We want to come back and try the rest of the menu. It was truly a great experience. Thanks Le Pigeon.
