   Food just wasn't very good. Octopus was chewy and steak frites were overcooked and not flavorful.

   Lovely UWS bistro in country French style. Enjoyed the leeks, rotisserie chicken (creole), and Brussels sprouts plus dessert and a nice bottle of Sancerre. Wine selection was good and well-priced. Preparations were all well-considered and executed. Will return.

   I like the attention of a small menu done well. Id on't eat dairy, and my whole chicken was dressed in olive oil. A nice touch. Those who had the onion soup remarks it is a winner with realistic serving. We had salad, a bottle of wine, and an attentive waitstaff.

   Lovely looking restaurant, great service , but the roast chicken, which should be the essence of a good French bistro, was horribly dried out and almost inedible. The salads and my partners scallops were much better.

   Most pleasant surprise - superb food, excellent seevice, nice varied music at moderate level. Definitely want to return.

   Delicious food, and one of the best meals on the Upper West Side. A limited menu but nearly everything is excellent. Ambiance is okay, but the lighting could use some improvement.

   Liked it so much the first, went back the second time in one week! The beet salad, 1/2 chicken and with vegetables were real winners. For sides we had the brussel sprouts and sauted mushrooms. They were also delicious The manager is exceptionally nice as well. I food was a little late, and he bought us drinks. Plan to go back next week with my husband.

    The food was excellent and service knowledgeable and very helpful. Unfortunately the wine list is in a revamping mode and certain dishes were not available. With only a wine and beer license and limited by the glass choices it loses out
