Chef Johnathan Masse brings his expert knowledge of comfort food, having most recently served as sous chef at the Waverly Inn, and also for Chef Jonathan Waxman of Barbuto. Along with owner Christian Merand, formerly of Jean-Claude in Soho, they have created a restaurant that focuses on serving consistently great traditional food with a lively and unmistakeably French atmosphere.

We had brunch outside. It was wonderful as always. Excellent croque monsieur, the fries are amazing and the salad is perfectly dressed.
Delicious food. Outstanding service. Enjoyable outdoor dining.
We ordered the Special - Pappardelle w/tiger shrimp. It was tasteless and boring, definitely not worth ordering again. Having said that, we also ordered the mussels, which were excellent and priced well. We usually brunch here, which never disappoints and I think we’ll stick to that in the future.
Straightforward bistro and brunch menus that are satisfying and comfortably priced. Lovely outdoor seating option.
Loved the food, service and vibe.
Great little place with good food!
I had the wild mushroom omelet with fries and small salad.
Many had the same when they came, I'd go again in a heartbeat it was so yummy.
Outside in sunny weather is my next visit.
Brunch deal with coffee is a steal!
Holly the server is so sweet.
Very nice place to meet with friends or with date. Nice authentic French atmosphere. Food was very good. Will come back again
Great local authentic neighborhood Parisian bistro in Manhattan. I lived in Paris for over 10 years, and this bistro takes me back to fond memories of classic French dishes in warm bistros! The wine selection classic and the confit de canard was perfect comfort food.
You are in for a fine treat. I have been enjoying this local restaurant for lunch and dinner for years. It is not pretentious in any sense but it takes its excellent cuisine seriously and seldom misses the mark. Menu is wide ranging in covering all basic choices with attention to their special preparations. The wine list is more than adequate to match ones food within a reasonable price. Tables are close and may not be best for a first date unless guest(s) would be impressed with quality served up warmly and simply.
Authentic and priced appropriately. My wife and I have been coming here for years and grateful they survived 2020. I highly recommend if you want to experience French ambiance in a quaint little spot.
Like a small neighborhood bistro in Paris. Very authentic with exceptional food & service.
Great food and service. Duck and Steak were amazing
It was great to be back at one of our favorite restaurants. The food and wine was as good as ever. The staff were great and happy to be back too! We felt totally taken care of and safe with COVID measures. The linguine with tiger prawn was excellent. A must have!
Most charming French restaurant in NYC! Wonderfully authentic - an absolute gem. My tomato soup, trout with lentils and profiteroles were all delicious. The place is small but so sweet and cozy, and the service was outstanding. Very reasonable prices, too. Be sure to book a reservation before going - the place is very popular. (For good reason!)
Really good experience. Outdoor seating was good and so was the food.
Great food and service though refilling water took a bit.
Authentic French bistro, adequate menu, great food and good wine. What else matters?
Love this place!
Amazing food! I felt like I was back in a Parisian bistrot.
Great food and personal service. Authentic Parisienne restaurant, perfect personal service. Highly recommended.
The restaurant was closed when I arrived. I don’t understand how they can accept reservation and let the customers on the side walk in front of a closed restaurant. No information, no call, no email, nothing. I cannot say anything about the food but I can say that they do no respect their customers. And Open Table should also make sure the restaurant are opened before offering reservation on their platform
Can’t wait for them to reopen as our go to neighborhood spot
Nice cozy space with excellent personal protection between tables. Place has a rustic Parisian romance feel to it. Food was perfect
wonderful Bistro just like being in Paris hopefully they will stay open or if not reopen
The food was great; service was awesome and attentive; music was authentic
Always a great time , great service and food . Feels like a cosy family run restaurant
Ate outside just as dinner hour (5 pm) began and appreciated the roof overhead and easy movement of air at table level. It's great to see a classic French bistro thrive at a time like this -- nothing new and self-consciously trendy on the menu, just sold standards like mussels with frites, confit de canard (well executed, with a citric sauce) and profiteroles. Wine can be ordered by the carafe. Definitely going back, even if it's BYOBlanket--no space heaters, at least right now.
Food was excellent and service very efficient - we’ll go again for sure
Love this wonderful neighborhood French place!
Excellent food and excellent service. Highly recommend the floating island dessert. Would definitely come back!
Best brunch and eggs Benedict in nomad/Murray hill
A great find !! Friendly and personal service and great food. Just like being in a true small Parisienne restaurant. We will definitely be back.
A true french restaurant owned by and run by some amazing French ex-pats. Everyone was so kind, very helpful, and the food was fantastic.
Highly recommend le parisian! The meals are delicious and the ambiance with the outdoor seating with hanging lights is just the cherry on top!
Merci beaucoup, mes amis!
Very nice staff and cute outdoor area! Great prices for brunch. Would recommend!
Charming and perfect like always.
Awesome birthday celebration
Food was ok, not as tasty as i was expecting. pate was bland. onion soup was watery. mussels were shriveled not plump or juicy. fries were limp.
A great neighborhood bistro with authentic Paris cuisine.
