Chef Johnathan Masse brings his expert knowledge of comfort food, having most recently served as sous chef at the Waverly Inn, and also for Chef Jonathan Waxman of Barbuto. Along with owner Christian Merand, formerly of Jean-Claude in Soho, they have created a restaurant that focuses on serving consistently great traditional food with a lively and unmistakeably French atmosphere.

Best in neighborhood
This restaurant are outstanding, the price are reasonable.
Always amazing, the best restaurant in the neighborhood. Isabella takes amazing care of all her guests, the mussels, the steak frites, the Gigondas the roast chicken, it's all fantastic. Feels like you are back in France.
It is a cosy small restaurant for a nice lunch or brunch, not a fancy place. Food was delicious 😋 and prices were ok
It’s a very good neighborhood restaurant. The food is good and the service friendly.
I love Le Paresien and it was another very enjoyable dining experience. Thank you very much!
Consistently excellent cuisine - a go-to for French fare.
Met a friend for a Sunday brunch here. They have outdoors seating w/ table hand sanitizers. On a hot day it might be too warm but otherwise great sidewalk seating. The pre fix brunch menu items at 18$ come with a coffee (sadly they don’t carry decaf ). The food was amazing. We both had mushroom omelette with Asiago cheese that same with a mini side of greens and fries. The rest of the menu looked great too.
We have always loved it here and were thrilled that they now have outdoor dining ! Everything was delicious!
A good neighborhood bistro. Decent wines for the price.
Brunch deal was great and the food was delicious
Delightful meal at a reasonable price. Definitely a great place in my work neighborhood.
Outstandingservice, food was excellent, and a great vibe
Not our first time at Le Parisien, I was there a week prior. Had to introduce our friends to this wonderful find in Kipps Bay area of NYC.
Food, Service and just general friendliness as usual. We will be there again and again
It is such a hidden gem! The food is real Parisian cuisine and the people are very friendly!
A pleasant place to dine for French food, with some outdoor dining.
Perfect neighborhood gem. Very reasonably priced. We'll definitely go back/
Most authentic French cuisine in the city, we will be back!!!!
Very friendly, helpful staff--always attentive, never pushy. Delicious food, fun people-watching on the street.
Great food and attentive service make for a wonderful evening dining experience. Very nice outdoor dining setup.
Always reliable in food & service. A great neighborhood place.
One of my favorite restaurants in NYC. Excellent service and exquisite food.
The food is absolutely fabulous and I highly recommend the steak frites
I has been to Le Parisien many times, and generally love it, but was a little disappointed last night. Hopefully a one-off.
Have been there several times and it never fails to be delicious and pleasant. Follow the recommendations of the staff - never failed us either.
Perfect Sunday family brunch!
It was my husband’s Birthday. We love this place, small and intimate and safe with dividers between the tables. They always have great specials beside the main menu. French wines are great! We bring all our friends here too. There is outside seating also which is great.
The lovely French lady whom directed me to my table and took my order was very kind, and was very quick and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing and the speed at which it came out was great. The atmosphere was quite pleasing and the prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend this place and I'll definitely return.
Attentive service. Very accommodating.
Ate outside . Added to energy.
Great menu selection.
Food was superb.
The dessert stole the show.
Took my wife out for her birthday. Food was great.
Authentic neighborhood bistro with classic French bistro menu. Lovely staff. Cozy.
Staff welcomed and remembered us. We brought our friends. We were not rushed. Food and wine and nearby fellow guests were wonderful as usual. All the usual favorites and specials. We will continue to return and bring our friends. :)
We live in the neighborhood and used to come here twice a month, and also for celebrations like birthdays and New Year's Eve. We love this place-- classic French cuisine, good service and wines, quiet ambience. Since they've re-opened, we're here at least once at month -- for the best brunch deal in town! Also the best steak frites in town!
Strongly recommended by a friend. Exceeded our expectations. Our experience was like a traditional Parisienne bistro both menu and ambiance even with Covid barriers in place. Price point was in expensive for Manhattan as was wine list. Will be back on next trip to NYC.
We had brunch outside. It was wonderful as always. Excellent croque monsieur, the fries are amazing and the salad is perfectly dressed.
Delicious food. Outstanding service. Enjoyable outdoor dining.
