We enjoyed our brunch here and not needing to wait (take reservations for brunch). The eggs benedict were tasty. The portion was generous with a fresh side of salad (this seems to be an issue at a lot of places) and very crispy fries. Service was friendly and food came out fairly quickly. The mimosa was tasty too. The interior could use a little sprucing up.
We'll be back for more.
Small little quintessential French café with satisfactory service but wonderful food. A little cramped and fairly noisy - but that's what makes it so French!
The mussels were just ok, but the specials were excellent. Wine was good and affordable. everything was fresh and very French. Loved it.
Excellent food and great service. I would definitely go back.
A small intimate French bistro in mid town manhattan. Not particularly expensive, excellent food, good service. Unexpectedly special in the middle of NYC.
Another great dinner at Le Parisien. Thank you very much!
Great find in NYC! Food was fabulous and authentic French bistro fare. Will return any time I am in "the Big Apple"!
Super cute find. Small unassuming place that transports you from 33rd St to Paris as you walk in the door. Solid food, great mussels, very friendly as packed as they were.
Loved my Croque Madame and the fries that I ordered on the side
This was our first visit to LP and it did not disappoint. It was a perfect location to meet up with our friends from Dumbo. The evening started out on a great note with attentive table service, a warm welcome from the hostess/manager (terrific) and warm, fresh crusty French bread on the table. Our friends ordered the salmon and the skate (cooked to perfection) and so was my husband and my sushi grade tuna. The Malbec and Sancerre wine selections were affordable and delicious. And, the dinner ended with a shared delicious ice cream profiterole. We'll be back!
Fabulous food as always. Wonderful service from Celine. One of the top spots for a friendly, intimate dinner!
This is the first time I have ever been to a restaurant where the manager said, "that portion is too small. Let me bring you some more." Yes, this really happened! I ordered the very delicious trout, and the manager (owner?) was unhappy with the portion and voila! Another perfectly cooked piece of fish appeared a few minutes later!! Also, the endive salad is sublime...it's the only such salad I've had in which the endive was roasted, and the quantity of gorgonzola was sufficient. Perfect! Also, the creme brûlée was as good as that in Paris. The garlic scent of the snails that my friend ordered was delicious. The room is small but they still had our table ready at the reservation time. Perfect in every way! No complaints.
Great French bistro. Food and service were very good. Great plac go a quick meal.
Just that perfect mix of neighbourhood cosy and quality cuisine, packaged quaintly in the form of an authentic Parisian brasserie.
Food is not the same as a few years ago.
It was the eve of my husband’s birthday. It was special enough to have been the evening of his birthday. I live in Quebec so I speak French and found the wait staff delightful, we spoke in French. The food was exquisite (best coq au vin and pappardelle I’ve had in years!) and the wine selection perfect.
Taste was all right but I had 8 tendons in my calf liver.
Suggestion slice the calf liver piece in two. It is too thick.
This is a consistently good restaurant. The food is good, the service friendly and it's a good value.
Came here for dinner. Food was very good, with a classic French bistro menu. The staff were very nice and on their toes..
I loved the place and the service. It is a small and cozy restaurant, with nice decoration, and the food was delicious. There is no prix fix lunch.
Food is good, authentic. Space is cramped, crowded, and not up to the level of the food.
Food and service: exceptional. Cramped space: can’t be helped.
A charming and truly French restaurant. Very nice ambiance; wonderful servers. Thoroughly pleasant, relaxed place.
Loved the small cozy space. The mussels were some of the best I’ve ever had and the service was fast but we didn’t feel rushed. Would love to go back.
Always a lovely experience.
We arrived, ordered, the food began to arrive and it was delicious, well prepared and the right temperature. We have had all the appetizers and all the desserts over time....all good as well
Wait staff doubled one order and forgot another item. I've been there is few times and this is the first time this has happened.
Excellent and authentic French food. Good prices. All that is 5 stars. Less one star for the teeny tiny tables crowded in. But we will definitely be back to this neighborhood spot.
Saturday night & packed as usual. We love this classic neighborhood bistro with all the old favorites on the menu. I am particularly fond of the skate, perfectly cooked with capers as well as Ile Flottante (floating island) for dessert.
Le parisien is a personal favorite. My friends and I have dined there many times. We are looking forward to our next dinner.
Love this place! Food is perfection. It's a small restaurant. Charming.
What a great find.
Absolutely delicious food with service to match.
Thoroughly enjoyed booked again whilst there.
Wonderful neighborhood place. Great food, great staff. Small but well done wine selection. Plan to go again and again.
Always love this patch of old New York.
Lovely place. My boyfriend and I used to live in this neighborhood and we fell in love with the ambiance and the coziness. The food is delightful as are the specials. We keep coming back even though we moved five months ago. Service is excellent and it’s just a nice little romantic place to dine.
Great neighborhood French bistro that’s always bustling and has delicious classic French dishes - several preparations of Mussels , steak that buttery and well seasoned and crisp pomme frites...
Wonderful staff & a pleasure to bring people to dinner for the first time
A taste of Paris on 33rd Street. Great escargots and moules frites!
Our only complaint is that the tables are so small and the space so tight that it's a balancing act to eat a meal.
Like a mini trip to Paris every time. And the food is perfect!
Lovely neighborhood restaurant. Food and service always very good. Highly recommend.
