Le Parc has become a favorite for date night, good food, excellent drinks, an atmosphere where you can talk and hear each other. Biden gem in downtown Frederick.
This is a great place for a date night. The ambience was good and we could hold conversations at a low volume. Our server Heather was prompt and attentive to our needs.
After bringing out a basket of hot bread rolls with butter, she took our appetizer order and they came out shortly after we got our bottle of wine. We had the Lobster Beignets appetizer, which was quite savory and filling. We also ordered Escargot a la Bourguignonne - I had to ask for extra bread to sop up the tasty garlic sauce.
After eating salad, we had Cassoulet and Beef a la Bourguignonne on Fettuccini Noodles. Both were very tasty but there was so much food that we had to take half of our dish home as leftovers.
It is easy to rack up a bill at the restaurant but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we gave an above average tip to Heather. We will come again in the future for special occasions.
Bottom line is food and service was excellent. No need to say more. It’s a go back. Hard to find tasty steak in Frederick. Thanks. Dick & Linda Rothenburg
Wonderful service. Great food
was a nice place to go for date night. food was excellent and service was very friendly and helpful with menu choices.. prices was alittle higher than i expected for portion size..
What a gem! Food is INCREDIBLE. I can’t believe this place isn’t packed all the time. This must be one of Frederick’s best kept secrets.
This is a gem of a restaurant. Though a little off the beaten path it's only a 3-5 minute walk from Patrick & Market Streets. Entering the restaurant I thought I had been transported to a quaint village outside Paris. The onion soup was the best I've had this side of the Atlantic. Mussels & frites were delicious, crepes scrumptious. Lovely and reasonable wine list. Can't wait to go back and try another one of the many appealing options on the menu.
Superb! This establishment is doing a great job with COVID-19 precautions i.e. good separation between tables, cleaning regimen, mask requirements, etc. Food and service are second to none. You will think you are in Paris if you close your eyes for a moment and relax. Highly recommended!!
So the calamari hors d'oeuvres was really good. Service was really good. I had really spectacular coq au vin in NYC, oddly enough in a preshow dinner. I couldn't get enough of how delicious every bite was, but this just wasn't it. Granted it's Frederick MD but there are some really good restaurants there. Coq au vin needs some work, and not increased portion size it was more than ample.
Very nice place in a very nice town though.
One of our "go-to" restaurants for special occasions or just a fun night out in Frederick. The food and service is top-notch. We enjoy the willingness of the establishment to meet our seating preferences where possible and love the live piano when available. This establishment never disappoints and has always shined in our visits.
Our server and chef went out of their way to make our special occasion memorable! I so appreciate the modifications that chef made to accommodate my vegan diet. Thank you!!!
Delicious food and service! Great option for gluten free also.
French sensibilities, American portions. A great mix of traditional French cuisine and broader dishes (my personal favorite was the Pork Belly Risotto). Solid service, docked a star because our bill took a while to process. Great find in Frederick
Once again, had a great time at Le Parc Bistro! This is a nice go-to place for a special occasion. This time was my wife's birthday and the food was delicious and served hot, drinks were good, and our waitress was friendly and attentive. It's slightly off the main road in Frederick and fits the class of "hidden gem." Thanks!
Cheese plate was delicious. Crab beignets didn’t have a proper mix of crab and dough; more crab please.
Large selection of wines.
Burger was delicious. Steak Frites was also delicious.
Salmon was overcooked.
Desserts were a bit disappointing. Cheesecake was good: Flourless chocolate cake was excessively rich, could only manage a couple bites. The creme brûlée custard was bland, add some vanilla beans to elevate.
Love the ambiance. Tables are positioned for social distancing.
Service was excellent.
Amazing food, atmosphere, service, experience. Will definitely return!!
The menu and food is always beyond wonderful, as was the service from our waitress, Alix!
Our go to place for a special meal. Good food and a relaxing atmosphere.
Beyond Excellent!! WE have eaten here at least 10 times in the past 2 years and the experience keeps getting better each time. Strongly recommend!!
We had an absolutely amazing time at Le Parc. The French onion soup was the best French onion soup I have ever had. The mussels were delicious. For dinner we had the pork belly risotto and the ribeye. My husband sends back every steak he ever orders. Not this one. Pure perfection, along with the risotto. Alex our waitress was so wonderful and appreciative of our business and we were so impressed when the owner himself delivered our entrees to the table. We cannot wait to go back. A truly wonderful experience.
Chose Le Parc for my birthday dinner. This was our first visit. Everything was superb.
We had escargot and crab beignets to start, both very tasty.
I had steak frites for my entree. The ribeye was perfectly cooked, medium rare, although it had a bit too much fat. The frites were thin and crispy. The special catsup was a surprising treat
The service was excellent.
I highly recommend Le Parc Bistro.
Great dinner love this place
This was our fourth time eating at Le Parc. The meal was delicious as always. Service, as usual, was prompt and friendly. This is one of our favorite restaurants.
Only one other couple eating and one woman at the bar. The server was very good; i.e., made good suggestions and did not rush us. The food, as always, was great. The mussels were perfect and the duck was outstanding. Highly recommend Le Parc Bistro for a quiet and excellent dinner.
Cute neighborhood restaurant that provided a nice intimate experience for my family & me. Food and service was very good...top notch for a casual type bistro. I will definitely be returning soon.
The waitress was so friendly and made our experience so delightful. The food was delicious! We will be back!
Le Parc continues to be our favorite restaurant in Frederick. The quality of food is incomparable and is made with such delicacy and care that it cannot be beat. The ambiance and friendliness of servers simply adds to the experience. We are Le Parc lifers!
I love this french restaurant, It’s a sweet hidden gem! If I did not live 40 minutes away , I would have dinner there every weekend! It’s authentic French cuisine . My friends are so impressed with the food and atmosphere! They can’t wait to return!
Our family of 4 (two ages 65+ and two 40+) had a wonderful experience. The food was superb and staff absolutely terrific. We even took along photos of the Le Parc Hotel in Paris near the Eiffel Tower and a Paris map to chat about during dinner. Everything was great such that we’ll be back even though we live 30 miles away in northeast Frederick County.
I find that the cuisine and service at Le Parc are consistently excellent. The quality of the preparation, the bar service, and the waiting staff are simply wonderful. It's definitely one of my go-to places. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
As usual our dinner was superb. Can't wait for our next visit.
Great food and great service. Never had a bad meal. Very good duck.
Le Parc Bistro is a class establishment! It is the best restaurant in Frederick.
The duck crepe was excellent; my husband said the crab cake could have used a little more seasoning. Overall, an excellent meal. So happy they are open again.
We were first-time customers and were not disappointed at all. The restaurant is lovely, the staff is extremely friendly and pleasant, and the food was superb. The french onion soup is the best I've ever had, the calamari was fresh and oh so good. Scallops, salmon, beef burgundy, pork and shrimp creole were absolutely delicious and all the trimmings as well. And, yes, the Bloody Mary's were awesome. We will be back. Recommend highly.
Clean attention to detail service and food exceptional
The food was very well prepared, however, the chef had a very heavy hand with the salt bin. The cassoulet was excellent with copious very tender meat, but minimal duck. The boeuf bourguinon was maybe a cut or two below the cassoulet; it was if the beef had been in the pot too long. The bar has a wide variety of drinks, the manhattan was great, as was my wife's special drink of the night, but I forget what it was exactly. The creamed mushroom soup was redolent with mushrooms, but again, very well salted.
The best steak frites we’ve had since we lived in Brussels. Service was friendly and professional, and the selection of classic Parisian cocktails available from the bar was great. One of our favorite restaurants for celebrating family occasions.
I had a marvelous dinner. Our server was delightful and personable and made excellent recommendations and the food was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend and will be going back.
This place was a great find- we were safely distant from other tables- food quality was fantastic- the shrimp 🦐 bisque was amazing and flavorful. Our friends had the steak frites and I had scallops and hubby had the couslette ( pork casserole)
